Bestimmungsgemäßer Gebrauch
❐Dieses Gerät ist zum Warmhalten von bereits zubereiteten Speisen vorgesehen. Das
Gerät ist nicht zum Kochen oder Braten von rohen Lebensmitteln geeignet!
❐Das Gerät darf nur in trockenen Innenräumen verwendet werden.
❐Dieses Gerät kann von Kindern ab 8 Jahren sowie von Personen mit reduzierten phy-
sischen, sensorischen oder mentalen Fähigkeiten oder Mangel an Erfahrung und/
oder Wissen benutzt werden, wenn sie beaufsichtigt oder bezüglich des sicheren
Gebrauchs des Gerätes unterwiesen wurden und die daraus resultierenden Gefah-
ren verstanden haben. Kinder dürfen nicht mit dem Gerät spielen. Reinigung und
Benutzer-Wartung dürfen nicht durch Kinder durchgeführt werden, es sei denn, sie
sind älter als 8 Jahre und werden beaufsichtigt.

❐Achtung Erstickungsgefahr! Halten Sie die Verpackungsfolie von Kindern und Tieren
fern.
❐Achtung Verbrennungsgefahr! Transportieren Sie das Gerät niemals während der Be-
nutzung.
❐Achtung Verbrennungsgefahr! Die Warmhalteplatte, der Rahmen und die Speisen-
behälter können während und nach der Benutzung sehr heiß sein! Fassen Sie das
Gerät, falls nötig, nur an den Griffen an. Verwenden Sie Topflappen, wenn Sie die
Speisenbehälter herausnehmen!

❐Achtung Verbrühungsgefahr! Seien Sie vorsichtig beim Öffnen der Deckel während
und nach der Benutzung. Es kann heißer Dampf entweichen!
❐Achten Sie darauf, dass das angeschlossene Netzkabel keine Stolpergefahr dar-
stellt. Lassen Sie das Kabel nicht über den Rand von Tischen oder Küchentheken
hängen. Es könnte jemand hängen bleiben und das Gerät herunterziehen.
❐Benutzen und lagern Sie das Gerät nur außerhalb der Reichweite von Kindern und Tie-
ren. Auch das Netzkabel darf für Kinder nicht erreichbar sein. Sie könnten das Gerät
daran herunterziehen.
Elektrizität – Stromschlaggefahr!
❐Stellen Sie das Gerät an einem Ort auf, an dem weder das Gerät, das Netzkabel oder
der Netzstecker in Wasser oder andere Flüssigkeiten fallen bzw. damit in Berührung
kommen können.
❐Berühren Sie das Gerät, das Netzkabel oder den Netzstecker niemals mit feuchten
Händen.
❐Schließen Sie das Gerät nur an eine vorschriftsmäßig installierte Steckdose mit
Schutzkontakten an. Die Steckdose muss auch nach dem Anschließen gut zugäng-
lich sein. Die Netzspannung muss mit den technischen Daten des Gerätes überein-
stimmen. Verwenden Sie nur ordnungsgemäße Verlängerungskabel, deren techni-
sche Daten mit denen des Gerätes übereinstimmen.
❐Überprüfen Sie das Gerät vor jeder Inbetriebnahme auf Beschädigungen. Das Gerät
darf nicht verwendet werden, wenn das Gerät, das Netzkabel oder der Netzstecker
sichtbare Schäden aufweisen, das Gerät heruntergefallen ist oder eine Fehlfunktion
hatte.
❐Nehmen Sie das Gerät nicht auseinander. Lassen Sie Reparaturen ausschließlich
von einer Fachwerkstatt oder dem Kundendienst durchführen.
❐Lassen Sie ein beschädigtes Netzkabel nur durch den Hersteller, den Kundendienst
oder einen Fachmann reparieren.
❐Schalten Sie das Gerät aus, ziehen Sie den Netzstecker aus der Steckdose und
lassen Sie das Gerät vollständig abkühlen,
–wenn Sie das Gerät nicht verwenden,
–wenn während des Betriebes ein Fehler auftritt,
–vor einem Gewitter,
–bevor Sie das Gerät und die Zubehörteile reinigen.
❐Wenn Sie den Netzstecker aus der Steckdose ziehen möchten, ziehen Sie nie am
Kabel, sondern am Stecker.
❐Betreiben Sie das Gerät nie unbeaufsichtigt.
Brandgefahr
❐Verlegen Sie das Kabel so, dass es nicht gequetscht oder geknickt wird und nicht mit
heißen Flächen in Berührung kommt.
❐Achtung Überhitzungsgefahr! Legen Sie keine leicht entflammbaren Gegenstände,
wie z.B. Papier, Pappe oder Kunststoff, in oder auf das Gerät.

❐Das Gerät sollte nie in der Nähe von leicht entzündbaren Materialien (Gardinen, Tex-
tilien, etc.), aufgestellt und verwendet werden.
❐Benutzen Sie das Gerät nicht, wenn leicht entzündliche Gase in der Luft vorhanden
sind. Betreiben Sie das Gerät nie in der Nähe einer Gasquelle.
❐Halten Sie das Gerät von Hitzequellen, z.B. Ofen, Herd etc. fern.
❐Decken Sie das Gerät während des Betriebs nicht ab, um einen Gerätebrand zu
vermeiden. Sorgen Sie für ausreichende Belüftung, während das Gerät in Betrieb ist.
Für Ihre Gesundheit
❐Die Speisenbehälter und die Deckel können mit möglichen Produktionsrückständen
behaftet sein. Um gesundheitliche Beeinträchtigungen zu vermeiden, reinigen Sie
die Teile gründlich vor dem ersten Gebrauch und anschließend nach jeder Benut-
zung, um Keimbildung zu vermeiden. Lesen Sie dazu bitte die Hinweise im Kapitel
„Reinigung und Aufbewahrung“.
Sach- und Geräteschäden
❐Stellen Sie das Gerät immer mit ausreichend Freiraum auf einen ebenen, festen,
trockenen und hitzeunempfindlichen Untergrund.
❐Legen Sie evtl. eine Unterlage unter das Gerät, damit Sie die Oberfläche nicht be-
schädigen.
❐Setzen Sie das Gerät keinen extremen Temperaturen, starken Temperaturschwan-
kungen, Feuchtigkeit oder direkter Sonneneinstrahlung aus.
❐Lassen Sie das Gerät nicht fallen und setzen Sie es keinen starken Stößen aus.
❐Benutzen Sie das Gerät nicht länger als 6 – 8 Stunden ohne Unterbrechung.
❐Wenn Sie die Speisenbehälter aus dem Rahmen herausnehmen, stellen Sie die Be-
hälter unbedingt auf eine hitzeunempfindliche Oberfläche, wie z.B. Topfuntersetzer.
❐Verwenden Sie nur Zubehör, das im Lieferumfang enthalten ist oder ausschließlich
vom Hersteller empfohlen wird.
❐Ziehen oder tragen Sie das Gerät nicht am Netzkabel.
❐Das Gerät hat Gummifüße. Einige Möbel sind mit Materialien beschichtet, welche
die Gummifüße angreifen könnten. Legen Sie ggf. zur Sicherheit eine Unterlage
unter das Gerät.
❐Stellen Sie das Gerät immer erst aus, indem Sie den Temperaturregler auf Position
OFF stellen, bevor Sie den Netzstecker in die Steckdose stecken bzw. den Netzste-
cker aus der Steckdose ziehen.
Gewährleistungsbestimmungen
Von der Gewährleistung ausgeschlossen sind alle Mängel, die durch unsachgemäße
Behandlung, Beschädigung oder Reparaturversuche entstehen. Dies gilt auch für den
normalen Verschleiß.

Vor dem ersten Gebrauch
ACHTUNG!
❐Halten Sie Kinder und Tiere vom Verpackungsmaterial fern. Es besteht Erstickungs-
gefahr!
1. Packen Sie das Gerät aus und entfernen Sie alle eventuellen Folien bzw. Aufkleber.
Überprüfen Sie den Lieferumfang auf Vollständigkeit (siehe Kapitel „Lieferumfang
und Geräteübersicht“) und mögliche Transportschäden. Sollten Sie einen Transport-
schaden feststellen, verwenden Sie das Gerät nicht(!), sondern wenden Sie sich um-
gehend an den Kundenservice.
2. Das Gerät kann mit Produktionsrückständen behaftet sein. Um gesundheitliche Be-
einträchtigungen zu vermeiden, reinigen Sie es gründlich vor dem ersten Gebrauch
(siehe Kapitel „Reinigung und Aufbewahrung“).

Benutzung
ACHTUNG!
❐Verbrennungsgefahr! Transportieren Sie das Gerät niemals während der Benutzung.
❐Verbrennungsgefahr! Die Warmhalteplatte, der Rahmen und die Speisenbehälter
können während und nach der Benutzung sehr heiß sein! Fassen Sie das Gerät, falls
nötig, nur an den Griffen an. Verwenden Sie Topflappen, wenn Sie die Speisenbe-
hälter herausnehmen!
❐Verbrühungsgefahr! Seien Sie vorsichtig beim Öffnen der Deckel während und nach
der Benutzung. Es kann heißer Dampf entweichen!
❐Benutzen Sie das Gerät nicht länger als 6 – 8 Stunden ohne Unterbrechung.
❐Wenn Sie die Speisenbehälter aus dem Rahmen herausnehmen, stellen Sie die Be-
hälter unbedingt auf eine hitzeunempfindliche Oberfläche, wie z.B. Topfuntersetzer.
Sie können die Warmhalteplatte auch ohne die Speisenbehälter und den Rah-
men verwenden, z.B. zum Warmhalten von Tellern. Heizen Sie das Gerät in
diesem Fall vor der Benutzung für 10 Minuten auf.
1. Stellen Sie das Gerät mit ausreichend Freiraum auf einen ebenen, festen, trockenen
und hitzeunempfindlichen Untergrund. Legen Sie evtl. eine Unterlage unter das Ge-
rät, damit Sie die Oberfläche nicht beschädigen.
2. Schließen Sie das Gerät an eine ordnungsgemäß installierte, gut zugängliche Steck-
dose an.
3. Befüllen Sie die Speisenbehälter.
4. Setzen Sie den Rahmen auf die Warmhalteplatte und die Speisenbehälter in den
Rahmen. Schließen Sie die Speisenbehälter mit den Deckeln.
5. Drehen Sie den Temperaturregler auf die gewünschte Temperatur (30 – 70 °C
möglich). Das Gerät beginnt zu heizen und die Kontrollleuchte leuchtet. Wenn
das Gerät die eingestellte Temperatur erreicht hat, erlischt die Kontrollleuchte.
Während der Benutzung kann die Kontreulleuchte immer wieder aufleuchten und er-
löschen. Dies ist keine Fehlfunktion, sondern bedeutet, dass das Gerät erneut heizt,
um eine konstante Temperatur beizubehalten.
6. Drehen Sie den Temperaturregler nach dem Gebrauch wieder auf OFF, ziehen Sie
den Netzstecker aus der Steckdose und lassen Sie das Gerät vollständig abkühlen,
bevor Sie die Speisenbehälter und Deckel entnehmen, reinigen und zusammen mit
dem Gerät verstauen.

Reinigung und Aufbewahrung
ACHTUNG!
❐Verbrennungsgefahr durch heiße Geräte- und Zubehörteile! Lassen Sie das Ge-
rät und die Zubehörteile vor jeder Reinigung auskühlen.
❐Stromschlaggefahr! Ziehen Sie vor jeder Reinigung den Netzstecker aus der Steck-
dose. Tauchen Sie die Warmhalteplatte, das Netzkabel und den Stecker niemals in
Wasser oder andere Flüssigkeiten und spülen Sie sie nicht unter fließendem Wasser
ab. Geben Sie die Warmhalteplatte niemals in die Spülmaschine.
❐Verwenden Sie zum Reinigen keine ätzenden oder scheuernden Reinigungsmittel.
Diese können die Oberfläche beschädigen. Benutzen Sie keine Metallgegenstände.
1. Vergewissern Sie sich, dass das Gerät nicht an das Stromnetz angeschlossen ist
und alle Geräteteile vollständig abgekühlt sind.
2. Nehmen Sie die Deckel von den Speisenbehältern ab und heben Sie die Speisenbe-
hälter aus dem Rahmen. Falls nötig, entleeren Sie die Speisenbehälter. Nehmen Sie
den Rahmen von der Warmhalteplatte ab.
3. Reinigen Sie die Speisenbehälter, die Deckel und, falls erforderlich, den Rahmen
mit klarem, warmem Wasser und etwas mildem Spülmittel. Die Speisenbehälter und
Deckel können in der Spülmaschine gereinigt werden. Lassen Sie alle Teile vollstän-
dig trocknen.
4. Reinigen Sie die Warmhalteplatte mit einem feuchten, weichen Tuch und ggf. mit
etwas mildem Spülmittel. Trocknen Sie mit einem weichen Tuch gründlich nach.
5. Verstauen Sie das Gerät und Zubehör außer Reichweite von Kindern und Tieren.
Bewahren Sie es an einem trockenen, vor der Sonne geschützten Ort auf.
Fehlerbehebung
Sollte das Gerät nicht ordnungsgemäß funktionieren, überprüfen Sie bitte zunächst, ob
Sie ein Problem selbst beheben können. Kontaktieren Sie ansonsten den Kundenser-
vice.
Versuchen Sie nicht, ein defektes Gerät eigenständig zu reparieren!

Geruch feststellen.
• Wir das Gerät wird zum ersten Mal benutzt? Eine Geruchs-
entwicklung tritt bei der ersten Benutzung neuer Geräte
häufig auf. Der Geruch sollte verschwinden, nachdem Sie
das Gerät mehrmals benutzt haben.
• Brennen Speisereste auf der Warmhalteplatte an? Ziehen
Sie den Netzstecker, lassen Sie das Gerät abkühlen und
reinigen Sie die Warmhalteplatte wie im Kapitel „Reinigung
und Aufbewahrung“ beschrieben.
• Das Gerät ist defekt. Kontaktieren Sie umgehend den Kun-
denservice.

Proper use
❐This appliance is designed for keeping prepared meals warm. The appliance is not
suitable for cooking or frying raw foods!
❐The appliance may only be used in dry indoor areas.
❐This device may be used by children ages 8 and over as well as persons with impaired
physical, sensory or mental capacities or those lacking experience and/or knowledge
if they are supervised or have been instructed in how to safely use the device and
have understood the risks associated with operating the device. Children may not
play with the device. Children may not perform cleaning and user maintenance of the
device unless they are 8 years of age or older and are supervised.
❐Keep children under 8 years of age and animals away from the device, the mains
cord and the plug.
❐The device is not intended to be operated with an external timer or a separate tele-
control system.

Risks of injury
❐Attention! Danger of suffocation! Store the packaging wrapper out of the reach of
children and pets.
❐Attention! Burn hazard! Never transport the device when in use.
❐Attention! Burn hazard! The heating plate, the frame and the food trays may be very
hot during and after use! If necessary, only take hold of the device by the handles.
Use pot holders when removing the food trays!
❐Attention! Scalding hazard! Be careful when opening the lids during and after use.
Hot steam may be emitted!

❐Ensure that the connected mains cord does not pose a tripping hazard. Do not allow
the cord to hang over the edge of a table or kitchen worktop. Someone could catch
him/herself and pull down the device.
❐Only use and store the device out of the reach of children and animals. The mains
cord may also not be accessible for children. They could pull the device down with it.
Electricity – Danger of electrocution!
❐Set up the device so that there is no risk of the device, the mains cord or the mains
plug falling in or coming into contact with water or other liquids.
❐Never touch the device, the mains cord or the mains plug with wet hands.
❐Only connect the device to a properly installed socket with protective earth contacts.
The socket must also be easily accessible after the device has been connected. The
mains voltage must correspond to the technical data of the device. Only use proper
extension cords, whose technical data correspond to those of the device.
❐Check the device for damages prior to each use. The device may not be used if the
device, the mains cord or mains plug are visibly damaged, if the device has fallen
down or experienced a malfunction.
❐Do not disassemble the device. Only have repairs conducted by a qualified workshop
or by customer service.
❐Only have a damaged mains cord repaired by the manufacturer, customer service or
a qualified professional.
❐Turn the device off, disconnect the mains plug from the socket and allow the device
to cool off completely,
–if you are not using the device,
–if a fault occurs during operation,
–before a storm,
–before cleaning the device and the accessories.
❐If you wish to remove the mains plug from the socket, do not pull on the cable, but
on the plug.
❐Never leave the device unattended while it is operating.
Fire hazard
❐Lay the cable such that it is not crushed or creased and such that it does not come
into contact with hot surfaces.
❐Attention! Danger of overheating! Do not place any highly flammable materials such
as paper, cardboard or plastic in or on the device.
❐The device should never be set up and used when highly flammable materials are
nearby (curtains, textiles, etc.).
❐Do not use the device if easily flammable gases are present in the air. Never use the
device if a gas source is nearby.
❐Keep the device away from heat sources, e.g. oven, stove, etc.
❐Do not cover the device during operation to prevent a risk of fire. Make sure the room
is adequately ventilated when the device is in use.

For your health
❐Production residue may be stuck to the food trays and the lids. In order to prevent
risks to one’s health, clean the parts thoroughly before the first use and then after
each use to prevent the build-up of germs. For this, please read the notes in the sec-
tion “Cleaning and storage”.
Damage to property and the device
❐Always place the device on a level, solid, dry and heat-resistant surface with ade-
quate space on all sides.
❐If necessary, set a base under the device to prevent damage to the surface.
❐Do not subject the device to extreme temperatures, severe changes in temperature,
direct sunlight or moisture.
❐Do not allow the device to fall and do not subject it to strong percussions.
❐Do not use the device continuously for more than 6–8 hours.
❐When you take the food trays out of the frame, be absolutely sure to set them on a
heat-resistant surface such as a trivet.
❐Only use accessories that are contained in the product contents or which have been
expressly recommended by the manufacturer.
❐Do not pull or carry the device by the mains cord.
❐The device has rubber feet. Some furniture are coated with materials which could
damage the rubber feet. If necessary, place a base under the device to protect the
rubber feet.
❐Always first turn off the device by setting the temperature control to the OFF position
before you insert the mains plug in the socket or pull the mains plug out of the socket.

Defects arising due to improper handling, damage or attempts at repair are excluded

Before first use
ATTENTION!
❐Keep children and animals away from the packaging. Danger of suffocation exists!
1. Unpack the device and remove all foils and stickers. Make sure that the product con-
tents are complete (see “Product contents and device overview”) and check for any
damages from transport. Should you identify any transport damage, do not use the
device(!); instead please promptly consult the customer service.
2. There may be some production residues stuck to the device. To avoid health risks,
clean it thoroughly before first use (see chapter “Cleaning and storage”).

ATTENTION!
❐Burn hazard! Never transport the device when in use.
❐Burn hazard! The heating plate, the frame and the food trays may be very hot dur-
ing and after use! If necessary, only take hold of the device by the handles. Use pot
holders when removing the food trays!
❐Scalding hazard! Be careful when opening the lids during and after use. Hot steam
may be emitted!
❐Do not use the device continuously for more than 6–8 hours.
❐When you take the food trays out of the frame, be absolutely sure to set them on a
heat-resistant surface such as a trivet.
You can also use the heating plate without the food trays and the frame, e.g. to
keep plates warm. In this case, heat the device up for 10 minutes prior to use.
1. Place the device on a level, solid, dry and heat-resistant surface with adequate space
on all sides. If necessary, set a base under the device to prevent damage to the
surface.
2. Connect the device to a properly installed, easily accessible socket.
3. Fill the food trays.
4. Place the frame on the heating plate and the food trays in the frame. Close the food
trays with the lids.
5. Set the temperature control to the desired temperature (30–70 °C possi-
ble). The device starts the heating process and the control light is illuminated.
When the device has reached the set temperature, the control light goes out.
During use, the control light may turn on and off repeatedly. This is not a malfunction,
but indicates that the device is reheating to maintain a constant temperature.
6. After use, turn the temperature control OFF, pull the mains plug out of the socket and
let the device cool off completely before you remove and clean the food trays and lids
and stow them together with the device.

Cleaning and storage
ATTENTION!
❐Burn hazard attributed to hot device parts and accessories! Let the device and
accessories cool off each time before you clean them.
❐Danger of electrocution! Prior to each cleaning, pull the plug out of the socket.
Never immerse the heating plate, the mains cord or plug in water or other liquids
and do not rinse them off under running water. Never place the heating plate in the
dishwasher.
❐When cleaning, do not use any scouring or abrasive cleaners. They could damage
the surface. Do not use any metallic objects.
1. Make sure that the device is not connected to the mains electricity supply and that all
device parts have cooled off completely.
2. Take the lids off of the food trays and lift the food trays out of the frame. If necessary,
empty the food trays. Take the frame off of the heating plate.
3. Clean the food trays, the lids and, if necessary, the frame with plain, warm water and
a small amount of mild detergent. The food trays and lids can be cleaned in the dish-
washer. Let all parts dry completely.
4. Clean the heating plate with a damp, soft cloth and if applicable, with a small amount
of detergent. Then dry it thoroughly with a soft cloth.
5. Stow the device and accessories out of the reach of children and animals. Store them
in a dry area not exposed to direct sunlight.
Troubleshooting
If the device is not working properly, please check whether you are able to rectify the
problem yourself first. Otherwise contact customer service.
Do not attempt to repair a defective device yourself!

• Are you using the device for the first time? An odour often
develops when using new devices for the first time. The
odour should disappear once you have used the device a
few times.
• Does any leftover food burn on the heating plate? Disconnect
the mains plug, let the device cool off and clean the heating
plate as described in the chapter “Cleaning and storage”.
• The device is defective. Contact customer service immedi-
ately.
