• Do not defeat the safety purpose of the polarized or grounding - type plug. A polarized plug has two
blades with one wider than the other. A grounding type plug has two blades and a third grounding
prong. The wide blade or the third prong are provided for your safety. When the provided plug does
not t into your outlet, consult an electrician for replacement of the obsolete outlet.
• Protect the power cord from being walked on or pinched particularly at plugs, convenience
receptacles, and the point where they exit from the apparatus.
• Only use attachments/accessories specied by the manufacturer.
• Unplug this apparatus during lightning storms or when unused for long periods of time.
• Refer all servicing to qualied service personnel. Servicing is required when the apparatus has been

Loading and Playing a CD
1. Slide the Open switch to open the CD Door.
2. Load a CD into the player, label side up.
3. Close the CD Door.
4. Adjust the (OFF)CD/FM button to switch to CD/OFF.
5. Press the Play/Pause button.
Tuning the FM Radio
1. Adjust the (OFF)CD/FM button to switch to FM.
2. The Radio Indicator will display a light when in Radio mode.
3. Press the Tuning buttons to manually adjust the station.
4. Press and hold the Tuning buttons to search for the next available station.
5. Note: The display will be blank in FM Mode.
6. Note: To improve radio reception, fully extend the headphone cord.
CD RADIO
Programming a CD
1. Press the Stop button to stop the CD during play.
2. Press the Prog button.
3. “00” will begin to blink on the display.
4. Press the Tuning buttons to select the track you wish to program.
5. Press the Prog button to save the selected track to the program.
6. Repeat steps 4 and 5 to program up to 20 tracks to play in the order they are
programmed.
7. Press the Play/Pause button to begin playing the programmed tracks.
Note: This unit is not compatible with MP3 CDs.
