Use the SKIP/SEARCH DOWN or SKIP/SEARCH UP Button
to change an existing programmed track or to select a new track to be added.

You can connect your unit to a TV (NTSC only) and
see the words and images produced by CD+G software.
1.Using the supplied cords, connect to TV as shown.
NOTE: Be sure to switch your TV to video mode.
Consult your TV’s Instruction Manual.
You can connect audio/video equipment, such as a
DVD player, VCR, TV or Stereo to your unit.
1.Connect the desired source as shown.
2.Press the POWER ON/OFF Button to turn the unit on.
3.Set the FUNCTION Switch to AUX.
4.Play the auxiliary source.
5.Adjust the sound using the VOLUME Controls.
•If you connect a video source, adjust the BRIGHTNESS,
CONTRAST and VERTICAL HOLD Controls on the back
of the unit.
1.Press the POWER ON/OFF Button to turn the unit on.
2.Slide the MICROPHONE ON/OFF Switch on the Microphone to the ON position.
3.Plug the Microphone into either the Mic 1 or the Mic 2 Jack.
4.Sing or speak into the Microphone.
5.Adjust the volume of your voice using either the MIC 1.
6.Adjust the overall sound using the VOLUME Control.

The Camera/CDG switch
allows you to view CD+G
graphics or Camera view.

You can sing along with the desired source.
1.Refer to “Using the Microphone” for connecting and
using the Microphone.
2.Play the desired source (CD/CD+G/AUXILIARY).
•When playing a CD or CD+G, the microphone will be
activated upon playing the disc.
•You can singalong with VHS karaoke tapes if a VCR is
connected or singalong with DVD karaoke discs, if a
DVD player is connected.
3.Sing or speak into the Microphone.
4.Adjust the volume of your voice using either the MIC
1 or the MIC 2 VOLUME Control.
5.Adjust the sound using the VOLUME Controls.
You can adjust the balance of the music and voice on
CD+G/CD karaoke discs only.
1.Refer to “Using the Microphone” for connecting
and using the Microphone.
2.Play the desired source (CD or CD+G).
3.Turn the MUSIC/VOCAL BALANCE Control towards the
MUSIC position to fade-out the singers voice; turn towards
the VOCAL position to fade-out the music.
•Use the ECHO control to give
your voice a studio sound effect.

This feature works with CD/CD+G karaoke discs only.
•Set the AVC Switch from minimum to maximum.

• Use a soft, clean cloth moistened
with plain, luke-warm water to
clean the exterior of the unit.
• Never use solvents such as
benzene or other strong chemical
cleaners since these could damage
the unit's finish.
• It is important that no liquid
reaches the inside of the unit.

• Remove the CD from the case by holding it at the edges while pressing the
center hole lightly.
• Do not touch the shiny surface of the CD or bend the CD.
• Place the CD into the tray with the label facing up.
• A dirty CD may not play correctly. If a CD becomes dirty, wipe it with a soft
cloth in a straight line from center to edge.
• A dirty lens will cause sound skipping and, if the lens is very dirty, the CD
may not work. Open the CD door and clean using a camera lens
brush/blower. Blow on the lens a couple of times and wipe the lens with the
brush to remove dust. Blow on the lens once more.
• If the lens is still dirty, use a cotton swab. Start in the middle of the lens and
work to the outside edge.
• Avoid exposure to direct sun light, temperature extremes, and moisture.
CAUTION: Do not use any solvent (eg: record sprays, thinner, benzene, etc.) to clean a CD.
