MONTAGE:
Öffnen Sie den Karton und nehmen Sie alle
Teile heraus.
Überprüfen Sie anhand der Stückliste ob alle
Teile vorhanden sind.
Stecken Sie den Querstab durch die Bohrung
am Steuerflansch - Achten Sie darauf, dass
die mittlere Bohrung am Querstab nach oben
schaut.
Halten Sie die Steuerung auf den Heckbe-
schlag Ihres Bootes.
Stecken Sie den Steckdorn, mit der langen
Seite, von oben durch den Heckbeschlag und
den Steuerflansch.
Der kurze Teil vom Steckdorn wird dabei in
die Bohrung an der Oberseite vom Steuer-
flansch und die mittlere Bohrung vom
Querstab gesteckt.
Stecken Sie die Pedale auf den hinteren
Fußstemmbügel vom Boot - Die Steuerleinen
und Rückholgummi müssen jeweils an der
Außenseite der Pedale sein.
Stecken Sie den Fußstemmbügel samt Pedale
in die von Ihnen gewünschte.
Hängen Sie die Rückholgummi-Haken der
Pedale an der nächsten Lasche vor dem Fuß-
stemmbügel ein (bzw. im Stemmbügel bei
RIVERSTAR).
EXPLORER:
Entfernen Sie die Karabiner von der Steuer-
leine.
Ziehen Sie die Steuerleine von vorne durch
die Steuerseilöffnung am hinteren Sitz Ihres
Bootes.
Ziehen Sie auch den Schutzschlauch ein
Stück durch die Steuerseilöffnung.

Hängen Sie die Karabiner in die Schlaufen
der Steuerleinen wieder ein und befestigen
sie an den Ösen vom Querstab.
RIVERSTAR:
Wie EXPLORER, jedoch wird die Steuerlei-
ne mit Schutzschlauch von oben nach unten
durch die Steuerseilöffnung geführt.
HOLIDAY:
Führen Sie die Steuerleine mit Schutz-
schlauch zwischen Süllrand und hinteren Rü-
ckenlehenbeschlägen nach hinten und hängen
die Karabiner an den Ösen vom Querstab ein.
Spannen Sie die Steuerleinen mit den Seil-
spannern so, dass die Pedale senkrecht stehen
und das Steuerblatt gerade ist.
Knoten Sie ein Ende der Aufholerleine an der
Bohrung des Steuerblattes fest.
Ziehen Sie das andere Ende durch den Auf-
holkopf vom Heckbeschlag und befestigen
Sie es mit dem Tanka-Verschluss an der
Verdecköse (EXPLORER), am
Rückenlehnenbeschlag (HOLIDAY) oder an
der Ösenleiste (RIVERSTAR).
Um die Höhe des Steuerblattes zu Verstellen
brauchen Sie nur an der Aufholleine anziehen
und an der gewünschten Position mit dem
Drücker-Verschluss zu fixieren.
PFLEGE:
Reinigen und trocknen Sie die Steuervorrich-
tung vor dem Verpacken.
Spülen Sie die Steuervorrichtung nach Salz-
wassergebrauch mit Süßwasser ab.
Bei häufiger Verwendung im Meer, empfeh-
len wir Ihnen alle Metallteile mit Silkonspray
einzulassen.

PART LIST:

ASSEMBLY:
Open the box and remove all parts.
Check to see that all parts listed on the parts
list are present.
Insert the crossbar into the hole on the steer-
ing flange - make sure the middle hole on the
crossbar faces upward.
Hold the mounted steering device onto the
stern fitting of your boat.
Insert the safety pin with the long side
through the stern fitting.
Insert the short part of the safety pin, at the
same time, in the hole on top of the steering
flange and the middle hole of the crossbar.
Insert the steering pedals on the rear foot
brace bar of your boat - the steering ropes
and the rubber return line must lie on the
outer side of the pedal.
Insert the foot brace bar along with the pedals
in the desired position into the fitting pro-
vided.
Hang the return line hooks for the pedals on
the loop in front of the foot brace bar (or on
the foot brace bar for RIVERSTAR).
EXPLORER:
Remove the carabiner from the steering rope.
Pull the steering ropes from frontside through
the steering rope fittings on your boat.
Pull the steering rope protective tube through
the steering rope fittings.
Hang the carabiner in the loops of the steer-
ing ropes and fix it on the rope eyelets of the
crossbar.

RIVERSTAR:
Same like EXPLORER, but pull the steering
ropes with rope protective tube from outside
through the steering rope fittings on your
boat.
HOLIDAY:
Move back the steering line between the
coaming and the rear backrest brackets and
fix the carabiner on the rope eyelets of the
crossbar.
Tighten the steering ropes with the rope
stretcher so that the pedals are in a vertical
position and the steering blade stands up
straight.
Fasten the end of the steering blade rope onto
the hole on the steering blade.
Pull the other end through the steering blade
rope guide on the stern fitting of your boat
and secure it with the closure on the canopy
eyelet (EXPLORER), on the backrest fitting
(HOLIDAY) or on the eyelet strip (RIVER-
STAR).
In order to adjust the height of the steering
blade, simply pull on the steering blade rope
and fasten it in the desired position with the
closure.
CARE:
Clean and dry off the steering device before
packing it.
Rinse the steering device with fresh water
after use in salt water.
With frequent use in salt water, we recom-
mend going over all metal parts with Silicon-
spray.
