ÜBER DIESE BETRIEBSANLEITUNG
Bevor Sie den CasaFan-Ventilator benutzen, lesen Sie die Betriebsanleitung aufmerksam
durch. Bewahren Sie die Betriebsanleitung immer in der Nähe des Aufstellortes bezie-
hungsweise am Gerät auf!

SICHERHEITSHINWEISE

Lesen Sie ALLE Sicherheitshinweise und Anweisungen.
Die Nichtbeachtung der Sicherheitshinweise und der Anweisungen können einen elekt-
rischen Schlag, schwere Verletzungen mit Todesfolge und/oder Brand verursachen.
Geben Sie das Gerät nie ohne Betriebsanleitung an andere Personen weiter.
- Die Spannungsangabe auf dem Typenschild muss mit der vorhandenen Netzspannung
übereinstimmen.
- Das Gerät darf nur vollständig montiert betrieben werden!
- Netzkabel so führen, dass keine Beschädigung und Stolpergefahr möglich ist.
- Sorgen Sie für eine ausreichende Beleuchtung am Einsatzsort (mind. 500 Lux).
- Keine Gegenstände durch das Schutzgitter stecken! Lose Gegenstände, die angesaugt
werden können, vor dem Einschalten des Ventilators aus dem Ansaugbereich entfer-
nen! Lose Kleidung wie z.B. Schals mit Fransen vom Schutzgitter fernhalten!
- Beachten Sie die im Kapitel Technische Daten angegebenen Mindestabstände.
- Decken Sie den Ventilator niemals ab, während er in Betrieb ist.
- Tauchen Sie ein Elektrogerät niemals in Wasser oder andere Flüssigkeiten.
- ES DARF NIEMALS WASSER IN DAS GERÄT EINDRINGEN! Wenn das Gerät nass gewor-
den ist, trennen Sie es sofort vom Stromnetz. Gerät nicht mehr verwenden!
- Den Ventilator niemals mit nassen oder feuchten Händen berühren.
- Das Gerät keinen schädlichen Umwelteinflüssen aussetzen (Regen, direkte Sonnen-
einstrahlung usw.). Halten Sie das Gerät von Wärmequellen fern. Die maximale Dauer-
Umgebungstemperatur beträgt 35 °C.
- Schalten Sie das Gerät aus, wenn es nicht benutzt wird, und ziehen Sie den Netzstecker
aus der Steckdose, insbesondere vor Reinigungs- und Wartungsarbeiten.
- Ziehen Sie den Netzstecker nicht am Kabel aus der Steckdose. Greifen Sie beim
Herausziehen den Stecker und nicht das Kabel.
- Dieses Gerät kann von Kindern ab 8 Jahren und Personen mit eingeschränkten phy-
sischen, sensorischen oder geistigen Fähigkeiten oder mangelnder Erfahrung und Wis-

sen eingesetzt werden, wenn eine angemessene Aufsicht oder ausführliche Anleitung
zur Benutzung des Geräts in einer sicheren Weise gegeben wurde und sie verstehen,
welche Gefahren damit verbunden sind.
- Kinder dürfen nicht mit dem Gerät spielen. Reinigung und Wartung durch den Benutzer
dürfen nicht von Kindern ohne Aufsicht durchgeführt werden.
- Entsorgen Sie Verpackungsmaterial für Kinder unzugänglich. Es besteht Erstickungsge-
fahr, z.B. durch Verschlucken!
- Überprüfen Sie das Gerät immer auf Schäden, insbesondere wenn es unbeabsichtigt
heruntergefallen ist oder starken mechanischen Belastungen ausgesetzt war.
Verwenden Sie niemals Geräte mit beschädigtem Flügelrad und/oder Schutzgitter!
- Kontrollieren Sie regelmäßig, aber unbedingt vor jedem Einsatz, das Netzkabel und
den Netzstecker auf Beschädigungen. Sind Beschädigungen sichtbar, darf das Gerät
nicht mehr verwendet werden. In diesem Fall muss das Netzkabel durch den Hersteller,
seinem Kundendienst oder einer qualifizierten Elektrofachkraft geprüft und ggfs. ausge-
tauscht werden, um jegliche Gefahren zu vermeiden.
- Wenn der Ventilator sichtbare Schäden aufweist, das Netzkabel beschädigt ist, im Be-
trieb ungewöhnliche Geräusche oder starke Vibrationen auftreten oder die Leistung/
Funktion merkbar reduziert ist, muss das Gerät vom Netz getrennt und außer Betrieb
genommen werden.
BESTIMMUNGSGEMÄSSE VERWENDUNG
Der Ventilator dient zur Umwälzung der Raumluft im Rahmen der technischen Daten und
Beachtung der Sicherheitshinweise. Er ist nur in Innenräumen zu verwenden. Er ist gemäß
Maschinenrichtlinie 2006/42/EC Teil 1 auch für die Verwendung im Gewerbe geeignet.
BESTIMMUNGSWIDRIGE VERWENDUNG
Der Ventilator ist nicht geeignet zur Verwendung im Freien. Bauliche Veränderungen
oder An- und Umbauten sind verboten. Der Einsatz in Maschinen, im Freien, in Gara-
gen sowie in feuer- und explosionsgefährdeten, staubbelasteten oder feuchten Räumen/
Nassräumen oder in Räumen mit aggressiver Atmosphäre ist nicht zulässig.
RESTGEFAHREN
Es besteht Verletzungsgefahr durch aufgewirbelte Stäube oder Gegenstände im Luft-
strom des Ventilators.
VERHALTEN IM NOTFALL
1. Trennen Sie das Gerät vom Netz. Schalten Sie das Gerät aus:
Ziehen Sie den Netzstecker aus der Steckdose.
2. Schließen Sie ein defektes Gerät nicht wieder an das Stromnetz an.
3. Sichern Sie das Gerät gegen unbeabsichtigte Nutzung durch Dritte.

- Gehen Sie beim Auau gemäß den Abbildungen fig. 1 bis fig. 13 vor.
- Abbildung fig. 1: Lösen Sie die Schraube, bis der Kopf ca. 6 mm herausschaut.
- Abbildung fig. 8: Stellen Sie sicher, dass der Gitterringfest geschlossen ist und die
beiden Schutzgitter (+) in den Gitterring eingerastet sind. Ein Herunterfallen des
vorderen Schutzgitters im laufenden Betrieb kann zum Bruch des Flügelrades führen
und schwere Verletzungen durch herumgewirbelte Kunststoteile verursachen.

WARNUNG:Die Wand muss das Gewicht und die Schwingung des Gerätes aushalten!
- Tragfähigen und ebenen Untergrund verwenden.
- Das Befestigungsmaterial (z. B. Schrauben) der Struktur des Untergrunds anpassen.
- Abbildung fig. 13: Stellen Sie sicher, dass die Aufnahme der Motoreinheitsicher in
der Wandhalterungsitzt.

- Die Funktionen können sowohl am Bedienpanel des Ventilators als auch an der
Infrarot-Fernbedienung 12 ausgewählt werden.
- Die Abbildung fig. 14a/b zeigt die Einstellung der Neigung der Motoreinheit. Hierzu
muss die Achsschraube unter Umständen fester angezogen werden.
WARTUNGS/REINIGUNGSHINWEISE
WARNUNG! Elektrische Spannung: Bevor Sie das Gerät reinigen oder warten, schalten
Sie das Gerät aus und ziehen Sie den Netzstecker aus der Netzsteckdose.

- Achten Sie darauf, dass der Bediener jederzeit und an jedem Ort sich davon überzeu-
gen kann, dass der Netzstecker herausgezogen ist.
- Überprüfen Sie regelmäßig, aber auf jeden Fall vor jeder Benutzung, das Netzkabel und den
Netzstecker auf Beschädigungen. Ist eine Beschädigung sichtbar, darf das Gerät nicht weiter
verwendet werden.
- Prüfen Sie bei der regelmäßigen Wartung das Laufrad auf sichtbare Schäden und Risse. Bei
Beschädigungen muss das Flügelrad ersetzt werden. Betreiben Sie den Ventilator niemals
mit einem beschädigten Laufrad!
- Reinigen Sie die Oberfläche des Gehäuses und das Schutzgitter mit einem trockenen Putz-
lappen und einem weichen Pinsel. Verwenden Sie kein Benzin oder ein ähnlich brennbares
Reinigungsmittel.
- Wenden Sie sich im Falle einer notwendigen Reparatur an eine autorisierte Servicestelle.
- Nach der Reinigung muss der Ventilator wieder komplett zusammengebaut werden
AUFBEWAHRUNG
- Bewahren Sie das Gerät bei Nichtnutzung in einem trockenen, frostfreien Raum auf.
- Schützen Sie das Gerät ggf. mit einer Hülle vor Schmutzablagerungen.

- Gerät und verbrauchte Batterien nicht im Hausmüll entsorgen.

SAFETY INFORMATIONS
WARNING! Electrical voltage
Read ALL safety instructions carefully.
Failure to follow the safety instructions and instructions may result in electric shock, seri-
ous injury resulting in death and/or fire.
Never pass on the fan to other persons without the operating instructions.
- The voltage specified on the nameplate must correspond to the existing mains voltage.
- Only operate the unit when completely assembled!
- Route the power cord in such a way that no damage or risk of tripping is possible.
- Ensure sucient lighting at the place of use (at least 500 lux).
- Do not insert any objects through the protective grille or hold them in front of or behind
it! Remove loose objects that can be sucked in from the suction area before switching
on the fan! Keep loose clothing such as scarves with fringes away from the protective
grille!
- Observe the minimum distances specified in the chapter Technical data.
- Never cover the fan while it is in operation.
- Never immerse an electrical appliance in water or other liquids.
- NEVER ALLOW WATER TO ENTER THE DEVICE! If the unit has become wet, immediately
unplug it from the mains.
- Never touch the fan with wet or damp hands.
- Do not expose the unit to harmful environmental influences (rain, strong sunlight etc.).
Keep the unit away from heat sources. The maximum continuous ambient temperature
is 35 °C.
- Switch o the appliance when not in use and unplug the power cord from the mains
socket, especially before cleaning and maintenance work.
- To unplug the power cord from the outlet, pull on the plug and not the cord.
- This appliance can be used by children aged from 8 years and above and persons with
reduced physical, sensory or mental capabilities or lack of experience and knowledge
if they have been given supervision or instruction concerning use of the appliance in a

safe way and understands the hazards involved.
- Children shall not play with the appliance. Cleaning and user maintenance shall not be
made by children without supervision.
- Dispose of the packaging material so that it is not accessible to children. There is a dan-
ger of suocation, e.g. by swallowing!
- Always check the fan for damage, especially if the fan has fallen down unintentionally
or has been subjected to strong mechanical stress. DO NOT operate the unit with a
damaged impeller or protective grille!
- Check the power cord and mains plug for damage at regular intervals, but always
before use. If damage is visible, do not use the unit again. In this case, the power cord
must be checked and, if necessary, replaced by the manufacturer, its customer service
or a similarly qualified electrician in order to avoid any hazards.
- If the fan shows visible damage, the mains cable is damaged, unusual noises or strong
vibrations occur during operation or the performance/function is noticeably reduced,
the unit must be disconnected from the mains and taken out of operation.
INTENDED USE
The fan serves to circulate the room air within the scope of the technical data and ob-
servance of the safety instructions. It should only be used indoors. In accordance with
the Machinery Directive 2006/42/EC Part 1, it is also suitable for commercial use.
IMPROPER USE
The fan is not suitable for outdoor use. Structural alterations or additions and conversi-
ons are prohibited. It must not be used in machines, unprotected outdoors, in garages,
in rooms subject to fire and explosion hazards, in dust-laden or damp rooms or in rooms
with an aggressive atmosphere.
RESIDUAL HAZARDS
There is a risk of injury due to dust or objects whirled up in the air flow of the fan!
BEHAVIOUR IN AN EMERGENCY
1. Disconnect the fan from the mains. Switch o the fan:
Unplug the mains cable from the socket by grasping it by the mains plug.
2. Do not reconnect a defective unit to the mains.
3. Secure the device against unintentional use by third parties.

- Check unit parts and plastic impeller for visible transport damage and cracks.
In the event of damage, do not operate the unit!
- Proceed with the assembly according to the figures fig. 1 to fig. 13.
- Figure 1: Loosen the screw until the head builds up approx. 6 mm.
- Figure 8: Make sure that the grille ring is firmly closed and that the two protective
grid parts (+) are engaged in the grid ring. Dropping the front guard during opera-
tion can cause the impeller to break and cause serious injury to the user from swirling

WARNING: The wall must withstand the weight and vibration of the unit!
- Use a stable and level surface.
- Adapt the fixing material (e.g. screws) to the structure of the substrate.
- Figure 13: Make sure that the motor unit support is securely seated in the wall bra-
cket .
OPERATION (page 79)
- The functions can be selected from both the fan control panel and the infrared
remote control 12.
- The illustration fig. 14a/b shows the adjustment of the inclination of the motor unit. The
axle bolt may have to be tightened tightly.
MAINTENANCE/CLEANING NOTES
WARNING! Electrical voltage:Before carrying out any cleaning or maintenance work,
remove the plug or switch o the electrical equipment from mains!
- The removal of the plug has to be such that an operator can check from any of the
points to which he has access that the plug remains removed.
- Check regularly, but most definitely before every use, the mains cable and mains plug
for damage. If any damage is visible, then further use of the unit must not be made.
- Routine maintenance must be carried out once a year, earlier if it is very dirty.

If the fault can not be remedied using the above listed remedies, then the plug has to
be removed from the socket. A specialist must now establish the cause and carry out
the repair work accordingly.

The unit may only be opened and repaired by a qualified electrician!

- During regular maintenance, check the impeller for visible damage and cracks. If there
is damage, the impeller must be replaced with a new impeller. Never operate the fan
with a damaged impeller!
- Clean the surface of the housing and the guard with a dry cleaning cloth and a damp
brush. Do not use petrol or a similarly flammable cleaning agent.
- In case of necessary repairs, contact an authorized service center.
- After cleaning, the fan must be completely reassembled
STORAGE
- Store the unit in a dry, frost-free room when not in use.
- If necessary, protect the unit from dirt deposits with a cover.
DISPOSAL
IMPORTANT:Environmental damage if not disposed of properly!
- Do not dispose the appliance or used batteries with the regular houshold waste.
- (European Union) For appliances with the sign opposite, use the local collec-
tion points for returning batteries and old electrical appliances in accordance
with EU Directive 2012/19 and 2006/66. Batteries containing harmful substan-
cesareadditionallymarkedwiththedesignationsforthedecisiveheavymetal:
Cd = cadmium, Hg = mercury, Pb = lead.
By disposing of them separately, you are making your contribution to
recycling raw materials and protecting the environment.

Ne transmettez jamais le ventilateur à une tierce personne sans son mode d‘emploi.
- La tension indiquée sur la plaque signalétique doit correspondre à la tension secteur
disponible.
- L’appareil ne doit être utilisé qu’entièrement assemblé !

- Ne couvrez jamais le ventilateur lorsqu‘il est en fonctionnement.
- Ne jamais immerger un appareil électrique dans l‘eau ou de liquides.
- NE JAMAIS LAISSER L‘EAU ENTRER DANS L‘APPAREIL ! Le ventilateur ne doit jamais être
mouillé. Si l‘appareil est mouillé, débranchez-le immédiatement du secteur.
- Ne jamais toucher l‘appareil avec des mains mouillées ou humides.
- Ne pas exposer l’appareil à des conditions ambiantes négatives (pluies, forts rayonne-
ments solaires etc.). Tenir l‘appareil à l‘écart des sources de chaleur. La température
ambiante continue maximale est de 35 °C.
- Éteignez l‘appareil lorsqu‘il n‘est pas utilisé et débranchez le cordon d‘alimentation de
la prise de courant, en particulier avant les travaux de nettoyage et d‘entretien.
- Pour débrancher le cordon d‘alimentation de la prise, tirez sur la fiche et non sur le cordon.

- Si le ventilateur présente des dommages visibles, que le câble d‘alimentation est en-
dommagé, que l‘appareil en fonctionnement émet des bruits inhabituels ou de fortes
vibrations ou que vous remarquez une baisse de puissance/fonction, l‘appareil doit être
débranché du réseau et mis hors service.
UTILISATION CONFORME
Le ventilateur sert à faire circuler l‘air ambiant dans le cadre des données techniques et
du respect des consignes de sécurité.
Il doit être utilisé uniquement à l‘intérieur. Il convient également à un usage commercial,
conformément à la directive machines 2006/42/CE partie 1.
UTILISATION NON CONFORME
Le ventilateur n‘est pas conçu pour une utilisation à l‘extérieur. Il est interdit de procéder
à des modifi cations structurelles ou à des ajouts et transformations. L‘utilisation dans des
machines, sans protection à l‘air libre, dans les garages et les espaces exposés au danger
d‘incendie ou d‘explosion, poussiéreux ou humides, ou dans des espaces à l‘atmosphère
agressive n‘est pas autorisée.

deux grilles de protection (+) sont correctement enclenchées dans l‘anneau de la
grille. Une chute de la grille de protection avant pendant le fonctionnement peut cau-
ser la rupture de la pale et blesser l‘utilisateur avec des pièces en plastique projetées.

INSTRUCTIONS D‘ENTRETIEN/NETTOYAGE
AVERTISSEMENT! Électrique gratuite : Débrancher l‘appareil du secteur en débran-
chant la fiche ou en coupant l‘alimen tation électrique avant d‘eectuer des travaux de
nettoyage ou d‘entretien.
- La fiche doit être débranchée de la prise de courant de manière à ce que l‘opérateur
puisse être sûr que la fiche a été retirée à tout moment et en tout lieu.
- Avant chaque utilisation, vérifiez régulièrement, mais absolument avant chaque utilisa-
tion, que le câble d‘alimentation et la fiche secteur ne sont pas endommagés. Si des
dommages sont visibles, l‘appareil ne doit plus être utilisé.
- Contactez un centre de service agréé si des réparations sont nécessaires.
- L‘entretien courant doit être eectué une fois par an, plus tôt en cas de salissures importantes.
- Lors d‘un entretien régulier, vérifiez que la roue n‘a pas subi de dommages ou de
fissures visibles. En cas d‘endommagement, la roue doit être remplacée par une roue
neuve. Ne jamais faire fonctionner le ventilateur avec une roue endommagée !
- Nettoyez la surface du boîtier ainsi que la grille de protection avec un chion sec et
une brosse douce et n‘utilisez pas d‘essence ou d‘un produit de nettoyage inflamma-
ble similaire.
- Après le nettoyage, le ventilateur doit être complètement remonté.
CONSERVATION
- Stockez l‘appareil dans un local sec et à l‘abri du gel lorsqu‘il n‘est pas utilisé.
- Si nécessaire, protégez l‘appareil des dépôts de saleté à l‘aide d‘une housse.

USO IMPROPRIO

all’aperto senza protezione, in garage o in ambienti a rischio di incendio o esplosione,

e crepe. In caso di danni, la girante deve essere sostituita con una nuova girante. Non
azionare mai il ventilatore con una girante danneggiata!
- Pulire la superficie dell‘alloggiamento e la griglia di protezione con un panno asciutto e
una spazzola morbida. Non utilizzare benzina o un detergente infiammabile simile.
- Dopo la pulizia, il ventilatore deve essere completamente rimontato.
CONSERVAZIONE
- Conservare l‘unità in una stanza asciutta e senza gelo quando non viene utilizzata.
- Se necessario, proteggere l‘unità dai depositi di sporco con una copertura.
SMALTIMENTO

- Non smaltire l‘apparecchio o le batterie usate nei rifiuti domestici.
