CARBON MONOXIDE POISONING
WARNING
Follow these indications to avoid carbon
monoxide poisoning.
Be aware of the carbon monoxide
poisoning symptoms: headache,
disorientation, numbness, weakness,
nausea, vomiting and loss of sense of
direction. The carbon monoxide reduces
the ability of the blood to transport
oxygen, which may result on loss of
conscience and death.
Consult a doctor if you or the people near
the device suffer from symptoms similar
to a cold or flu. The carbon monoxide
poisoning may easily be mistaken for a
cold or flu and is usually detected too
late.
The consumption of alcohol and drugs
worsens the effects of the carbon
monoxide poisoning.
Carbon monoxide is specially toxic for
women during pregnancy, children, the
elderly, smokers and people with blood
circulation problems, such as anemia or
heart diseases.
Carbon monoxide is colorless and
odorless, therefore it is important to
use this device accordingly to the user
manual.
