and important procedures for maintenance and safety.
Verify all the parts are included BEFORE you begin assembly. Refer to the Parts Lists
section. For your convenience, some parts might be pre-assembled or attached to
fire pit components.
If any parts are missing, do not attempt to assemble the fire pit. Call Customer
Service to request replacement parts.
Read the Assembly section completely before beginning the assembly process. This
will allow you to become familiar with parts and steps. In some cases, it might be
necessary to leave hardware loose for further assembly steps.

Before proceeding, make certain that you understand the IMPORTANT INFORMATION
sections of this manual.
Failure to adhere to the safety instructions in this manual could result in a hazardous fire.
It is the customer’s responsibility to see that the grill is properly assembled, installed and
maintained. Failure to follow the instructions in this manual could result in bodily injury
and/or property damage.
For outdoor use only – do not use indoors.
This grill is not for commercial use.
Do not use this grill in wet or rainy conditions. Keep it at least 10 feet away from the large body
of water, such as a pond, lake, swimming pool, etc.
Do not use the grill in extremely windy conditions.
Keep the grill on a hard, non-combustible, smooth and level surface.
Minimum clearance from sides and back of unit to combustible material is 72 inches from the
sides and back of the grill.
Do not use this appliance under overhead surfaces.
Do not use in an area with flammable objects, structures, or surfaces.
In case of fire, turn OFF the grill. Shut off the electric power, leave the fire to burn out on its own
Do not try to extinguish the fire by water.
Use only dry potholders. Moist or damp potholders on hot surfaces may cause burns from stream.
Do not use a towel or bulky cloth in place of potholders. Do not let potholders touch hot portions of
the grill or cooking grates.
Never operate the grill with a damaged power cord or plug, or after the grill has
malfunctioned or been damaged in any manner.
Keep any power cord away from any heated surfaces.
Use only extension cords with a 3 prong grounding plug, rated for the power of the
equipments, and approved for outdoor use with a W-A marking.
Keep the extension cord connection dry and off the ground.
This grill is not intended to be installed in or on boats. It is not intended to be installed in or on
recreational vehicles. Do not use it for any purpose other than intended.
To protect against electric shock, never immerse cord, plusgs or electric elements in water or any
liquid.
Parts of this grill can become very hot. Keep children of pets away from the grill when it is in use or
after use until it has cooled.

Only use a properly-grounded power source.
Do not alter or remove the grounding plugs on the power cord or household outlet.
Never
move

grill
while
it
is
operating,
or
when
it

hot
pellets

Always
open
the
grill
lid
carefully. The
heat
and
stream
inside
grill
body
is
hot.
Before
using
the
grill,
be
sure
that
is
has
been
completely
assembled,
and
all
parts
have
been
securely
fastened
and
tightened.
Unplug the grill from electric power when it is not in use. Make sure the grill is cool before
cleaning or other maintenance.
Keep the grill covered when not in use. Keep children out of reach of the grill.
Do not clean the grill with water spray or similar.
Check the grill periodically. Make sure that Digital
Controller
and
Power
Cord
are
not
abrade
d,
worn,
cut
or
damaged.
Keep the grill clean.
Do not use accessories that are not specified for use with this grill.
Never add the pellets to aHot

by
hand. You
could
be
seriously
burned.
If the pellets
run
out,
or
the
fire
goes
out,
let
the
grill
completely
cool
and
then
follow
the
"Lighting
Instructions" found in this manual.
Never use grill lighter fluid, charcoal, lava rocks, gasoline, kerosene, or alcohol with this grill.
Keep
wood
pellets
in
a
dry
location
to
prevent
moisture
from
swelling
or
degrading
the
pellets.

“ SMOKE”
setting
with
the
cooking
chamber
lid
open.
NEVER put wood chips or chunks into the hopper!
Always store the wood pellets away from heat.
Only use cooking grade pellets. DO NOT use heating grade pellets!

Choose a suitable, clear area for assembly. Ask a friend for help as some parts are heavy or difficult for
one person to hold and assemble. To help protect the smoker’s finish, cover the area with cardboard.
Step 1
Remove the lid from the cooking chamber by removing bolt and washer and sliding the hinge pins on
the lid out of the hinge holes on the cooking chamber. Set bolt and washer aside for Step 18.

Find legs labeled "Front Right" and "Front Left". Attach front right leg (#16) and front left leg (#8) to

Insert the bottom shelf (#12) into the mounted legs. Attach remaining two legs ("Back Right" (#17) &
“Back Left" (#11) by inserting the hooks of the bottom shelf (#12) into the holes in the legs before bolting
to the cooking chamber (#27) using (8) M6 x 12 bolts (BB) and (8) M6 nuts (FF).
Tighten all leg hardware.
Note: Bottom shelf (#12) must be mounted before securing remaining two legs.
Insert the wheel axle (#10) through the bottom holes in the "Front Left" (#8) and "Back Left" (#11) legs.
Attach the wagon wheels (#9) onto the wheel axle (#10) using (2) M12 lock nuts (GG) as figure shown.
Do not over tighten.
Thread casters (#15) into remaining legs by turning clockwise until tight.

bolts (BB) and (2) M6 nuts (FF) as figure shown.
Attach side handle (#22) on cooking chamber (#27) right endcap by (4) M6 x 12 bolts (BB) and (4) M6
nuts (FF).

Attach chimney pipe (#20) and chimney gasket (#18) to the cooking chamber (#27) right endcap using
(4) M6 x 12 bolts (BB).
Be certain the gasket fits between the chimney pipe and outside face of the chamber endcap as figure
shown.
Screw chimney cap (#21) into chimney pipe (#20) top as figure shown by turning it clockwise. Do not
screw chimney cap all the down.
Insert an M6 x 14 step bolt (DD) into the square tube end of the chamber right bracket. Hang the grease
bucket (#14) from the tube end as figure shown.

Connect the hopper top (#2) to the hopper bottom assembly (#6) with (4) M5 x 10 bolts (CC).
Install protection guard (#3) into the hopper assembly with (2) M5 x 10 bolts (CC).
Note: Insert all 6 bolts before tightening completely.
Attach the power cord bracket (#4) to the back of the hopper assembly with (2) M5 x 10 bolts (CC).

Slide hopper gasket over auger housing. Then place the pellet hopper assembly onto the cooking
chamber (#27) by inserting the auger housing through the left endcap. While holding the hopper
assembly away from the endcap, insert the grill probe (#46) through the endcap wall. The grill probe
(#46) should be turned horizontal, as shown in the figure. Tighten the grill probe (#46) into place using
(1) M4 x 8 bolt (EE) and (1) M4 cap nut (AA).
NOTE: Make sure grill probe tip end is facing towards the chamber front when installing.
Tighten the hopper assembly to the cooking chamber (#27) left endcap using (6) M6 x 12 bolts

Attach the front shelf bracket L (#7) to the front of the cooking chamber (#27) near the left leg using (2)
M6 x 12 bolts (BB) and (2) M6 nuts (FF).
Connect front shelf (#13) to front shelf bracket R (#48) by inserting the shelf hooks through the bracket.
Then insert the left side of the shelf through the left shelf bracket on the cooking chamber.
Attach the front shelf bracket R (#48) to the front of the cooking chamber (#27) using (2) M6 x 12 bolts
(BB) and (2) M6 nuts (FF). Tighten all hardware. See illustration for proper orientation.
Place the flame tamer (#26) over the fire pot inside the cooking chamber. It should rest in place as
figure shown.
