Controls

GENERAL
POWERING PLAYER ON / OFF
When in standby mode short press POWER to turn unit on, short press again to turn
player off. The stereo defaults to FM mode when first powered on.
ADJUSTING VOLUME
1. Short press VOL+ or VOL- to change volume by a single unit.
2. Long press VOL+ or VOL- for continual volume adjustment.
Changing audio mode
1. One short press EQ/MODE to change to next mode. Change between FM radio, CD,
USB and AUX.
Changing equaliser mode
To give you the best audio quality the CD player comes preset with 5 preset equalizer
modes – Classical, rock, pop, jazz and flat.
1. To change EQ mode long press EQ/MODE button to change to the next preset EQ
mode.

RADIO
Using the radio
1. Press the EQ/MODE Button to change to FM mode.
rAD will be briefly displayed on the screen when radio mode is chosen. After 2-3
seconds display will then change to radio frequency being displayed.
2. Extend the FM antenna to improve FM radio reception.
3. Short press PREV or NEXT track buttons to step through the radio frequencies.
Long press PREV or NEXT track buttons to auto tune to the next available radio station.
Long press PLAY/PAUSE to auto tune the radio in to all available stations and save all
found radio stations to memory.
Saving radio stations
Up to 20 frequencies can be saved to memory.
1. When in FM mode: Short press STOP/REP to save the current radio station to
memory. PO1 will flash on screen. To change the preset number the radio station will
be saved to, press the PLAY/PAUSE button to increase the preset number from P01 to
P20.
2. Now press STOP/REP to save the channel to the current preset memory number
shown on the display.
To recall saved radio stations
1. When in FM model: Press PLAY/PAUSE button repeatedly to find the preset number
you wish to recall.
2. Once your preset number is shown on screen do not press any other button for 1-2
seconds and the radio will change to the saved radio frequency.
CD
Playing a CD
1. Open the CD door and place a CD or CD-R/RW disc into the player.
2. Press the EQ/MODE Button to change to CD mode. CD will be displayed on screen

briefly for 2-3 seconds.
3. Press the Play/Pause Button to begin playing the loaded CD.
4. To change music track short press the PREVIOUS or NEXT buttons. To fast forward or
rewind the current music track long press PREVIOUS or NEXT buttons.
Repeat play
The CD player can repeat either a single track or repeat play all tracks on your CD.
1. Whilst your CD is playing short press STOP/REP to repeat the current track. ONE will
be briefly displayed on screen.
2. Press STOP/REP a second time to change repeat one track to repeat all tracks. ALL
will be briefly displayed on screen.
3. To cancel repeat playback short press STOP/REP again and OFF will be briefly
displayed on screen. The player will no longer repeat any tracks.
USB
Playing MP3 tracks from USB flash drive
1. Connect your USB flash drive to the USB port on the front of the stereo.
2. Press the EQ/MODE Button to change to USB mode. USB will be displayed on screen
briefly for 2-3 seconds.
3. Press the Play/Pause Button to begin playing your MP3 tracks held on your USB
drive.
4. To change music track short press the PREVIOUS or NEXT buttons. To fast forward or
rewind the current music track long press PREVIOUS or NEXT buttons.
Repeat play
The stereo can repeat either a single track or repeat play all tracks on your USB drive.
1. Whilst an MP3 music track is playing from your USB drive short press STOP/REP to
repeat the current track. ONE will be briefly displayed on screen.
2. Press STOP/REP a second time to change repeat one track to repeat all tracks. ALL
will be briefly displayed on screen.
3. To cancel repeat playback short press STOP/REP again and OFF will be briefly
displayed on screen. The player will no longer repeat any tracks.

AUXILIARY INPUT
The stereo can be connected to other audio sources such as MP3 player, phone or
tablet for playback of the audio on the stereo’s own speakers.
1. Connect an AUX audio cable (not included) to the AUX socket on the front of the CD
player and the other end of the cable to audio output on MP3 player / phone / tablet
etc.
2. Press the EQ/MODE Button to change to change the Function to AUX mode. AUX
will be displayed on screen. Audio played through the connected MP3 player / phone /
tablet will now be heard through the stereo.
