1. Applications
This mounting kit is used for mounting the OD 401
operator display in a specially designed cabinet.
The mounting kit consists of
• 1 stainless steel frame,
• 1 IP 55 cabinet,
• 1 Pg cable gland and
• 8 screws.
The steel frame is available in two versions.
One for operation from the front or from below and
the other for operation from above.
Prior to installation, read these installation
and operating instructions. Installation and
operation must comply with local regula-
tions and accepted codes of good prac-
tice.

• Steel frame for mounting the OD 401 operator display.
• The OD 401 can be mounted for operation from the front
or from below with a tilt angle of 12°.

• Steel frame for mounting the OD 401 operator display.
• The OD 401 can be mounted for operation from above.

• IP 55 cabinet with cable gland.
• Fasten the OD 401 with the four TORX screws,
type M5 x 40 PH-FZB.

• Hexagon socket head screws, type M4 x 6 US-A4
(pos. 1).
• TORX screws, type M5 x 40 PH-FZB (pos. 2).

Mounting of operator display in IP 55
cabinet
• Fit the cable gland in the bottom of the
IP 55 cabinet.
• Insert the cable through the cable gland and
tighten the nut.
• Connect the wires to the five terminals of
the plug on the back of the operator display.
• Insert the plug into the operator display.

• Assemble the operator display and the
IP 55 cabinet with the four TORX screws,
type M5 x 40 PH-FZB.
Note: To meet the enclosure class IP 55, the
cable gland must be fitted correctly and the
screws must be tightened until the gasket is
deformed.
• The operator display can now be fitted in
three different angles, depending on the
selected steel frame.

Operated from the front – vertical
• Fasten the stainless steel frame to the wall
or a similar solid surface.
• Fasten the frame with three screws (pos. 3).
The three holes on the back of the frame lie
on a circle with a diameter of 170 mm.
Note: The frame can be adjusted as the three
holes are oval.
• Assemble the operator display and the
stainless steel frame with the four hexagon
socket head screws, type M4 x 6 US-A4
(pos. 2).

3. Disposal
This product or parts of it must be disposed of in an
environmentally sound way:
1. Use the public or private waste collection service.
2. If this is not possible, contact the nearest
Grundfos company or service workshop.

• Fasten the frame with three screws (pos. 3).
The three holes on the back of the frame lie
