DVD disc structure
Titles
When two or more movies are recorded on a DVD disc, the
disc is divided into two or more sections. Each section is
called a ‘TITLE’.
For example, trailers and documentaries
would be separate ‘TITLES’ to the featured movie on the disc.
Chapters
A title can be subdivided into many parts. Each part of a title
is called a ‘CHAPTER’.
Tracks
As a DVD is divided into ‘TITLES’ an audio CD is divided into
‘TRACKS’. Tracks are the individual songs on an audio CD.
