Please note the
following when starting up
the appliance:
7The appliance is intended
for domestic use only.
7The appliance may only be used
for the purposes described in
these operating instructions.
7Use the enclosed mains adapter
only to operate the appliance.
7Never use the appliance in the
bath, shower or over
a washbasin full of water or with
wet hands.
7Do not immerse the appliance in
water and do not allow it to come
into contact with water, even
when cleaning it.
7Do not drop the appliance.
7Remove mains adapter from the
wall socket after use.
7Do not use the appliance if you
have varicose veins.
7Consult your doctor before use if
you have a pacemaker.
7Removing hair at the roots can
cause reddening or irritation of
the skin. This is a normal reaction
which only lasts for a short time.
Please consult your doctor if such
irritations remain for longer than
three days.
7To avoid accidents, keep the
appliance away from hair on the
head, eyebrows and eyelashes as
well as clothes, brushes, wires,
laces and ties, shoe laces, etc.
7Keep the appliance out of reach
of children. Never use the
appliance on children.
7Never open up the appliance. All
rights to claim under the
guarantee are invalidated for
damage caused by improper
interventions or tampering with
the appliance

Operation with
rechargeable battery
If run with the installed re-
chargeable nickel metal hydride
batteries, use the supplied mains
adapter as a charger.
1Insert the mains adapter cable in
the socket ;
plug the mains adapter
plug into the mains socket.
– The charge indicator lights
up.
Note
7Fully charge the batteries
(16 hours) before using for the
first time or if the batteries have
not been used for a long time.
7When the appliance is switched
off, charging takes approx 14 -
16 hours. If you switch the
appliance on while it is charging,
charging is stopped.

7The ambient temperature should
be between 5˚C
and 40˚C.
7When charged, the appliance
can be used for approx
30 minutes. We recommend you
do not recharge the batteries
after each use, especially if you
have not used the appliance for
the
full 30 minute running time. Do
not recharge the batteries until
they are completely dead. This
extends their life. Avoid daily
charging.
Environmental information
7This appliance contains nickel
metal hydride rechargeable
batteries. It must therefore not be
disposed of in the domestic waste
when it has reached the end of its
life. Open the housing. Take out
the batteries and place these in
the waste battery collection
containers found
in shops and public waste
disposal services.

POWER SUPPLY ___________________________________
Mains mode
(with the mains adapter)
Check whether the mains voltage
given on the rating plate of the
enclosed mains adapter J matches
the local mains voltage. The
appliance
is not disconnected from the power
supply until the mains adapter is
disconnected.
1Insert the cable
of the mains adapter
into socket .
2Plug the mains adapter plug into
the mains socket.
Important
7Only use the appliance in the
bathroom or next to a water
connection if it is in battery
mode, never in mains mode.
Note
7The appliance cannot be
switched on if the mains adapter
cable is plugged into socket ,
but the mains adapter is not
connected to the mains power
supply.

USE ___________________________________________________
Special features
Your appliance uses micro-massage
technology, which reduces the pain
when hairs are removed to a
minimum.
The appliance thoroughly removes
your hair at the roots and it takes 4
to 6 weeks to grow back.
Remove hair
To achieve the best results it is
advisable to take a hot bath or sho-
wer before use, as this opens the
pores.
Use the loofah sponge
supplied to remove
dry skin from the area where you
want to remove hair. Moisten the
sponge with shower gel or soap
and move it in small circles.
This cleans your hair and makes it
supple, therefore
ideally preparing it for removal.
Ensure your skin is clean,
free of grease and completely dry
before removing the hair.

1Remove the protective
cap from the appliance.
2Switch on the appliance using
switch ; push down the lock
and slide the switch upwards.
3Adjust the speed.
– Low for fine hair.
– High for thicker or denser hair.
4The vibrators on the side ensure
unpleasant sensations are
suppressed during hair removal.
5Hold the appliance in your palm
of your hand at a 90° angle to
your skin. Do not exert pressure;
merely touch the surface of the
skin.

6Make short, fast movements -
like brushing or wiping – in the
direction in which the hair
grows.
7Use your other hand to tauten
the area of skin with the hair to
be removed. Stretch out your leg
to remove hair from the area at
the back of your knee.
8You can also remove hair from
your thigh in the bikini zone.
9Remove individual hairs from
your upper lip and
in the cheek area.
10 To remove hair from your
armpits, extend your arm first
to tauten the skin.
Note
7If you have not removed the hair
in the bikini zone or under the
arms for a long time, trim them
first with a pair of scissors or a
trimmer.

11 For especially gentle treatment
of the skin, remove cover
and attach the massage
attachment .
Useful tips
7When using for the first time, you
may experience slight discomfort
as the hair is removed at the
roots.
This feeling recedes after using
the appliance several times, even
if you have sensitive skin.
7When used for the first
time the result lasts for
4 to 6 weeks. After repeated use
your hair will grow more slowly
and more sparsely.

7Hold the appliance with a
relaxed and comfortable grip. Do
not exert pressure.
For your safety, the appliance
slows down or switches off
if you exert too much pressure on
the skin.
7If reddening or irritation of the
skin appears after use, rub the
area concerned with lotion or a
medical skin cream.
7If you have in-growing hairs, take
a bath and use the loofah sponge
supplied
to soften the skin and
the in-grown hairs.
7If you have varicose veins
or other health problems
you should definitely consult
your doctor before use.
7For hygienic reasons the
appliance should only be used by
one person.

CLEANING AND CARE __________________________
Cleaning and care
1Switch off the appliance
and disconnect the cable.
Disconnect the mains adapter
from the wall socket.
2Remove the cover of the epilator
mechanism.
3Use the supplied brush
to remove all hairs
from the mechanism.
4Replace the cover on the epilator
mechanism. Press down the
cover until it latches into place.

5Replace the protective
cap .
Note
7You do not have to clean
the mechanism's epilating discs.
To maintain hygiene, you can
occasionally rub them down with
a little alcohol. Use a cotton bud
dipped in alcohol and squeezed
out the excess liquid first. Ensure
the cotton bud is not wet!
Important
7Never hold the appliance
in water or another liquid.
7Do not use cleaning agents.

Storage
If you are not going
to be using the appliance
for a lengthy time, please store it
carefully.
1Ensure the appliance is switched
off and is dry.
2Pack the appliance in the
storage bag and keep it
in a cool, dry place.
3Ensure the appliance is kept out
of reach of children.

which are suitable for recycling and
can be reused.
Therefore, at the end of its life, the
product must not
be disposed of in the normal
domestic waste but must
be taken to a collection point
for recycling electrical and
