Thank you for purchasing G-Tech Portable Electronic Scale GL-6000N Series. This product
has passed strict QC test and guarantees excellent performance. Please read this manual
carefully before using the product to understand the characteristics of the product and
how to use it.

It is important to handle this product in the right way. If it is not used properly, it may cause
unexpected accidents resulting in personal injury or property damage.
- In this manual, possible hazardous situations are informed in order to prevent any
accident. Such situations are displayed in different categories.

2.4 Key Functions
Key
Description
1) It sets the current weight “0” within a certain degree of the
maximum weight.
2) When the ‘Zero’ Key is long pressed, the direction of
LCD display is reversed.
1) It is used to set / release tare function.
2) When the Key is long pressed, you can adjust the upper
Limit / lower limit of value.
1) When the ‘PRINT’ Key is pressed after placing an object on the platform,
the current weight is transmitted via communication port.
2) When the ‘PRINT’ Key is pressed without an object on
the platform, the total amount of weight is printed out.
(when printer output is used)
1) When pressed short, measurement unit changes.
2) When pressed long, the upper limit/lower limit function is
turned ‘ON/OFF’.
1) It turns ‘ON/OFF’ the power.

3Test Mode
3.1 How to Enter Test Mode
Turn the power on while pressing "ZERO" Key to enter Test Mode with “TEST” being
displayed on the display.

4Calibration Mode
4.1 How to Enter Calibration Mode
Turn the power on and press "CAL" Key or “ZERO + UNIT + PRINT” Keys together until
show “CAL” on the display to enter the Calibration Mode.
4.2 Description of Calibration Mode
4.2.1 Maximum Weight Setting (select model)
: It allows to select the maximum weight. Press “PRINT” Key while “CAL” is shown on the
display to display the current maximum weight.
Use below Keys to change the maximum weight.
- UNIT Key: Use to change the maximum weight.
- PRINT Key: Use to save a newly set maximum weight and return to the previous page.
Test Type
Description
A/D Test
Don’t press any Key to show the current A/D value on the display.
Communication
Test
Press "TARE" Key to show “Serial test ok” on the display via serial
communication.
Backlight Test
Press "UNIT" Key to change backlight brightness and show the value
of brightness levels.
Count Value Test
Press "PRINT" Key to show count value on the display. Press “ZERO” Key while
the count value is displayed to adjust the count value.

4.2.2 How to Proceed with General Calibration Mode
: It adjusts calibration to display weight properly. To enter General Calibration Mode,
press “TARE” key ”C ZERO" while is shown on the display to display.
Stage
Description
Zero Adjustment
It adjusts zero point. When “C ZERO” is shown on the display, empty
the platform and press “TARE” Key once the weight is stabilized to
save the current zero point.
Calibration
Completed
Select a standard weight to use for calibration, Place a weight
equivalent to the weight displayed on the display on the platform and
press “TARE” Key to start weight adjustment.
- UNIT Key: Use to change the standard weight.
- TARE Key: Start weight adjustment.
END
Once the weight adjustment is completed, “END" is shown on the
display and Measurement Mode is started.
4.2.3 How to Proceed with Multi Calibration
: It allows to adjust weight through 3 sections. Press “UNIT” Key while “CAL” is shown on the
display to display "C ZERO" and proceed with multi calibration.
Stage
Description
Zero Adjustment
It adjusts zero point. When “C ZERO” is shown on the display, empty the
platform and press “TARE” Key once the weight is stabilized to save the
current zero point.
Weight Adjustment
for Section 1
Place a weight equivalent to the weight displayed on the display on the
platform and press “TARE” Key to start weight adjustment for section 1.
Weight Adjustment
for Section 2
Place a weight equivalent to the weight displayed on the display on the
platform and press “TARE” Key to start weight adjustment for section 2.
Weight Adjustment
for Section 3
Place a weight equivalent to the weight displayed on the display on the
platform and press “TARE” Key to start weight adjustment for section 3.
Calibration
Completed
Once the weight adjustment is completed, “END" is shown on the display
and Measurement Mode is started.

5Gravity Acceleration Setting Mode
5.1 How to Enter Gravity Acceleration Setting Mode
: Press "On/Off" Key to turn on the power and press “ZERO” Key until the booting is
completed to show "CAL4" on the display and enter Gravity Acceleration Mode.
- ZERO Key: Add 1 to the flickering digit
- TARE Key: Move the flickering digit to the left
- PRINT Key: Save the settings and enter Measurement Mode
* The gravity constant compensation function is not set at the factory. To use this function,
you must separately set the gravity constant value and calibrate it.
6General Setting Mode
6.1 How to Enter General Setting Mode
: Press "ON/OFF" Key to turn on the power and press “ZERO” and “TARE” Keys until the
booting is completed to show "p-zero" on the display and enter General Setting Mode. Use
below Keys to change settings.
- UNIT Key: Change setting type and setting value.
- TARE Key: Select settings
