OVERHEATED OIL AND FAT
There is a fire hazard!
Overheated oil and fat easily catch fire. Never leave fat or oil
when they are heating unattended. In case of ignition of oil or
fat, never pour water on fire. Extinguish it by covering the
cookware with a lid or a plate. Turn off the burners (hotplates).
COOKING FOOD IN A WATER BATH
When cooking in a water bath, products are placed in a dish,
which in turn is placed in a larger diameter pan with water.
Thus, products are prepared under the influence of uniform and soft
heat of hot water, and not directly on the burner.
When cooking food in a water bath, metal, glass and other
dishes should not come into direct contact with the bottom of
the pan containing the water.
This will help prevent damage to the glass surface of the hob and
dishes due to overheating of the burner.
THE HOB IS HEATING UP
Do not touch hot burners. Keep children away from the hob. Never
place flammable objects on the hob. Do not store flammable objects
and aerosols in the drawers under the hob.
WET BOTTOM OF COOKWARE AND WET BURNER
There is a danger of injuries!
If there is any liquid between the bottom of the dish and the burner,
steam pressure may build up during heating. Due to it, dishes can
suddenly jump up. Always make sure that the bottom of the dish
and the burner are dry.

The advantages of induction hobs
Fast cooking: You will be surprised how fast you can cook on an induction hob.
Food and liquids boil very quickly at high heat settings. Be sure to monitor the
cooking process so that the food does not "escape" and evaporate.
The power supply is proportional to the diameter of the dish: during induction
cooking, only the part of the burner on which the dish is installed works. When
using small dishes, the power of the large burner is regulated in proportion to the
diameter of the bottom of the dish. Due to a decrease in power, the time of boiling
food increases. Induction cooking minimizes heat loss; handles do not heat up.
Under the glass-ceramic surface (2) an
induction coil is placed (1), which creates
an electromagnetic field (3). If you put
dish with a magnetic bottom on the
burner (4), a current is induced and heats
the dish at the bottom.
SIMPLE The touch control is convenient to use. It allows you to quickly
and accurately adjust the heating power. At minimum power,
you can melt chocolate and prepare food that is usually
cooked in a steamer.
FAST At high levels of heating, a large amount of food can be brought
to a boil quickly.
CLEAN It will not be difficult to clean the hob. The burners are heated
to the same temperature as the dishes. Therefore, boiling food
does not burn.
SAFE Heat is generated directly at the bottom of the pan. The burners
are heated no more than the cookware. This means that the
surface of the induction hob is heated significantly less than
surface with Hi-Light burners. After removing the dishes, the
burners will cool down very quickly.

12
Induction heating technology means a radical change in traditional heating
methods, because the heat is generated in the pan.
Therefore, this technology has a number of advantages:
•It takes less time to prepare food, since heat is generated directly in the pan,
rather than indirectly through heating the glass surface.
•It saves energy.
•Surface care and cleaning is simplified.
•Boiled products do not burn so quickly.
•The possibility of precise control of the cooking process and increased safety:
when the control panel is affected, energy is supplied and turned off instantly. If
you remove the cookware from the activated induction burner, it stops heating.
1.3. TOUCH CONTROL
The hob is equipped with a touch control panel. Touch the corresponding
symbol to activate the sensor.
•Buttons respond to touch, so no effort is required.
•Use pads of your fingers, not your fingertips.
•Each touch to the sensor is confirmed with a sound signal. Do not place
any objects on the touch control panel (error messages may appear).
•Make sure that the control panel is always clean. If the control panel is
dirty or there is spilled liquid on it, error messages may appear, and it may
be difficult for the panel to respond to the touch of your fingers.

13
1.4. SUITABLE COOKWARE FOR INDUCTION HOB
Only cookware made of ferromagnetic alloys can be used on the
induction hob, for example:
•steel dishes with enamel coating;
•cast iron cookware;
•special stainless steel cookware for induction hobs.
To make sure that the cookware is suitable for the
induction hob, check whether it is attracted by a
magnet.
If you don't have a magnet, do the following:
1. Pour some water in the pan to be tested.
2. Follow the steps from the «To start cooking» section.
3. If the symbol does not appear on the display and the water heats up,
the dish is suitable for the induction hob.
4. Never use cookware made from the following materials: regular 100%
stainless steel, copper or aluminum without magnetic base, glass, wood,
porcelain, ceramic and clay.
1.4.1. Characteristics of the bottom of the dishes
The characteristics of the bottom of the cookware may affect the uniformity of
cooking. Dishes made of heat-distributing materials, such as stainless steel
with sandwich-bottom, ensures uniform heat distribution and saves time and
energy.
1.4.2. Empty dishes or dishes with a thin bottom
Do not heat empty dishes or use thin-bottomed dishes. The hob is equipped
with a protective fuse system, but an empty pan can heat up so quickly that the
safety shutdown function will not have enough time to be activated and a very
high temperature will be reached.

14
In this case, the bottom of the cookware may melt and damage the glass
surface of the hob. If this happens, turn off the burner and do not touch the
pan. If the hob does not work after it has cooled down, contact the service
center.
1.4.3. Cookware detection
Each burner require a minimum pan size, which depends on the material of the
dishes. Therefore, you should use a burner that most closely matches the
diameter of the cookware. Depending on the material from which the cookware
is made and its characteristics, the burner automatically adapts to it, including a
smaller or larger heating zone and providing the appropriate power to ensure
the best cooking results.
Burner size (mm) Minimum size of dishes (diameter, mm)
160 120
180 140
210 160
Markings on
cookware
Check if there is a sign on the label that informs that
the pan is suitable for induction hobs. Use magnetic
pans (made from enameled metal, ferritic stainless
steel, cast iron). Check by placing a magnet on the
bottom of the dish (it should be attracted).
Stainless Steel The burner does not detect the presence of a pan,
except for ferritic steel pans.
Aluminum The burner does not detect the presence of a pan.
Cast iron High efficiency. Attention: pans can scratch the
surface.
Enameled steel High efficiency. It is recommended to use dishes
with a flat, thick and smooth bottom.
Glass Does not detect the presence of a pan.
Porcelain Does not detect the presence of a pan.
Cookware with a
copper bottom
Does not detect the presence of a pan.

15
Do not use cookware with uneven edges or a curved base.
Make sure that the bottom of your cookware is smooth and tightly fits the
glass surface, and matches the size of the heating zone. Always place
dishes in the center of the heating zone.
Do not move the dishes on the surface, try to put down and put up them
vertically. This will save the glass-ceramic surface from unwanted
scratches on it.
2. USING THE
