4. Select 1 point cal.
5. Select the output mode.
Option Description
Active Use the current measured value during a calibration
Hold Use the last measured value during a calibration
Transfer Transfer a specified value to the 4–20 mA input for use during a
calibration
6. Use the arrow keys to edit the displayed value so it matches the
input value from the outside device as measured by an accurate
current meter or as otherwise determined. Push the ENTER key.
The display shows the Current, Input and Cal values.
7. Push the ENTER key to continue.
If the calibration passes, the display shows a Calibration passed
message, along with the Offset and Slope values. Push the ENTER
key to continue and return to the Calibrate menu screen.
If the calibration fails, the display shows a Calibration failed
message. Refer to Troubleshooting calibration failure on page 9
for troubleshooting suggestions.
To repeat the calibration, push the ENTER key.
To restore the previous calibration, push the BACK key. Then push
the ENTER key or wait for the controller to return to the Calibrate

Perform a 2 point calibration
1. From the Settings Menu, select Sensor Setup.
2. Select Calibrate.
3. Select Cal Options.
a. Select the Current option to perform a calibration using current
(mA) values, or
b. Select the Input option to perform a calibration using
measurement values, such as psi.
c. Push the ENTER key.
4. Select 2 point cal.
5. Select the output mode.

Note: The displayed point 1 value must match the point 1 value from the
outside device as measured by an accurate current meter or as otherwise
determined.
7. Push the ENTER key to continue.
The display shows the Current, Input and Cal values for cal point 1.
8. Push the ENTER key to continue.
9. Use the arrow keys to edit the point 2 value. The point 2 value should
be as far as possible from the point 1 value for better 2 point
calibration.
Note: The displayed point 2 value must match the point 2 value from the
outside device as measured by an accurate current meter or as otherwise
determined.
10. Push the ENTER key to continue. The display shows the Current,
Input and Cal values for cal point 2.
