6.1PositioningtheAppliance
Position theapplianceinthedesiredlocation.The back shouldrestagainstthe wallbehind it,
and thesides,alongtheadjacentcabinetsorwall.The dishwasherisequippedwithwater
supplyand drainhosesthatcan be positioned on the rightorthe lefttofacilitateproper
installation.
6.2LevelingtheAppliance
Oncethe applianceispositioned,adjustthe feet(screwtheminorout)toadjustthe
dishwasher,making it level.Inanycase,the applianceshouldnotbeinclined morethan 2°.
If the applianceislevel, it will helpensureproperperformance.

6.3ColdWaterConnection
Connect the coldwatersupplyhosetoathreaded 3/4(gas)connector, inserting the small
filtersupplied withthe dishwasherand making surethat it isfastened tightlyinplace(see
Fig.1)If the waterpipesareneworhavenot
been used foran extended period oftime,letthe
waterrun tomakesurethat the waterisclear
and free of impurities. If thisprecaution isnot
taken, thereisarisk that the waterinlet can get
blocked and damage the appliance.
6.4HotWaterConnection
The watersupplytothe appliancecan alsobe
connected tothe
house'shot waterline (centralised system,
heating system), aslong asit doesnot exceed atemperatureof 60℃. Inthiscase, the
washcycletimewill be shortened byabout 15 minutesand the washefficiency slightly
reduced.
6.5DrainHose Connection
Insertthe drainhoseintoadrainpipe withaminimumdiameterof4cm,orletitrun intothe
sink, makingsuretoavoidbending orcrimpingit. Usethe specialplasticsupport thatcomes
withthe appliance(see Fig.2).Thefree endofthe hosemust be at aheightbetween 40and
100 cmand must not be immersed inwater.
6.6Electrical Connection
Aftermaking surethat the voltage and frequency valuesforthe current inthe home
correspond tothoseon the rating plate(located on the stainless steelinnerdoorof the
appliance)and that the electricalsystemiscorrect forthe maximumvoltage on the rating
plate, insert the plug intoan electricalsocket whichisearthed properly(the earthing of the
applianceisasafetyrequirement mandated bylaw). If the electricalsocket towhichthe
appliancemust be connected isnot appropriateforthe plug, replacethe plug ,ratherthan
using adpatorsorthe likeastheycouldcauseoverheating and burns.

Salt
The hardnessofthe watervariesfromplacetoplace.Ifhardwaterisused inthe
shwasher,depositswill formon the dishesutensils.
The applianceisequipped withaspecialsoftenerthatusesasaltspecificallydesigned to
eliminatelimeand mineralsfromthe water.
LoadingtheSaltintotheSoftener
Always usesalt intended forusewithdishwashers.
The salt containerislocated beneaththe lowerrack and shouldbe filled asfollows:
-Removethe lowerrack and then unscrewand removethe cap fromthe salt container;
-If you arefilling the containerforthe first time, fill it withwater;
-Placetheendofthefunnel(supplied)intothe holeandintroduceabout2kgofsalt.Itis
normalforasmall amountofwatertocomeoutofthe salt
container.
-Carefullyscrewthe cap back on.
The salt containermust be filled when the "lowsalt"indicator
light (located on the controlpanel)comeson.
To prevent the formationofrust,loadthesaltjustbefore
beginning a wash cycle.
AdjustingSaltConsumption
The dishwasherisdesigned toallowfor
adjusting the amountofsaltconsumed based
on the hardness ofthe
waterused.Thisis
intened tooptimizeand
customizethe levelof
saltconsumptionso
thatitremainsata
minimum.Yourlocal
WaterBoardcan
supplythe degree ofhardness ofthe waterin
yourarea.
Toadjustsaltconsumption, proceedas follows:
-Unscrewthe cap fromthe salt container;
-Thereisaring onthecontainerwithanarrowon it(seefiguretotheside),If necessary,
rotatethe ringinthe anticlockwise direction fromthe "-"setting towardsthe "+"sign,based
on the hardness ofthe waterbeingused.It isrecommended thatadjustmentsbe made in
accordancewiththe following scheme:

Detergent
Detergentspecificallyintended forusewithdishwashersmustbe used.The dispensermust
be refilled beforethestartofeachwashcyclefollowing the instructionsprovided inthe
"WashCycleTable."The detergent dispenserislocated on the inside panelthe door.
Loadingthedetergent
Toopen the "A"coveron the dispenser,press the "B"button.The detergentforthe wash
cycleshouldbe poured intothe "C"compartment.
Afterthe detergent hasbeenplacedinthedispenser, closethecoverand press downuntilit
clicks inplace.
Notice:Tofacilitateclosing thecover, remove anye
xcess detergenton theedgesofthedispenser. Rinse Aid
Thisproductmakesdishessparkleand
helpsthemtodrywithoutspotting.The
dispenserislocatedontheinsidepanelof
the doorand shouldbefilledafterevery80
washcycle(orwhen therinseaidindicator
lightcomeson forthosemodelswiththis
feature).
LoadingtheRinse Aid
Toopen the dispenser,turnthe "C"cap inthe anti-clockwisedirection and then pourinthe
rinseaid,making surenot tooverfill.The amount of rinseaidused foreachcyclecan be
regulated byturning the "F"doseadjustor,located beneaththe "C"cap, witha
screwdriver.Thereare6different settings; the normaldosage setting is3.
Important
Properdosage of the rinseaidimproves
drying.
If dropsof waterremainon the dishesor
spotting occurs,the dosage adjustorshould
be turned toahighersetting.
If the disheshavewhitestreaks,turnthe
dosage adjustortoalowersetting.

Beforeplacing the dishesinthe dishwasher, removethe larger
food debristoprevent the filterfrombecoming clogged, whichresultsinreduced
performance.
If the potsand panshavebaked-on food that isextremelyhardtoremove, werecommend
that theybe allowed tosoakbeforetheyarewashed.Thiswill eliminatethe need forextra
washcycles. Pull out the rack tofacilitateloading the dishwasher.
How toUse theUpperRack
The upperrack isdesigned toholdmoredelicateand lighter
dishware, suchasglasses, cupsand saucers, plates, small bowls
and shallowpans(aslong astheyarenot too dirty).
-Position the dishesand cookwaresothat theydo not get moved
bythe sprayof water.
The upperrack can be adjusted forheight byusing the knobslo-cated
on the sidesof the rack itself (see fig.B).
