6.3ColdWaterConnection
Connect the coldwatersupplyhosetoathreaded 3/4(gas)connector, inserting the small
filtersupplied withthe dishwasherand making surethat it isfastened tightlyinplace(see
Fig.1)If the waterpipesareneworhavenot
been used foran extended period oftime,letthe
waterrun tomakesurethat the waterisclear
and free of impurities. If thisprecaution isnot
taken, thereisarisk that the waterinlet can get
blocked and damage the appliance.
6.4HotWaterConnection
The watersupplytothe appliancecan alsobe
connected tothe
house'shot waterline (centralised system,
heating system), aslong asit doesnot exceed atemperatureof 60℃. Inthiscase, the
washcycletimewill be shortened byabout 15 minutesand the washefficiency slightly
reduced.
6.5DrainHose Connection
Insertthe drainhoseintoadrainpipe withaminimumdiameterof4cm,orletitrun intothe
sink, makingsuretoavoidbending orcrimpingit. Usethe specialplasticsupport thatcomes
withthe appliance(see Fig.2).Thefree endofthe hosemust be at aheightbetween 40and
100 cmand must not be immersed inwater.
6.6Electrical Connection
Aftermaking surethat the voltage and frequency valuesforthe current inthe home
correspond tothoseon the rating plate(located on the stainless steelinnerdoorof the
appliance)and that the electricalsystemiscorrect forthe maximumvoltage on the rating
plate, insert the plug intoan electricalsocket whichisearthed properly(the earthing of the
applianceisasafetyrequirement mandated bylaw). If the electricalsocket towhichthe
appliancemust be connected isnot appropriateforthe plug, replacethe plug ,ratherthan
using adpatorsorthe likeastheycouldcauseoverheating and burns.
