INSTALLATION REQUIREMENTS
TOOLS NEEDED
• " and 7/16” Wrench • Phillips screwdriver
LOCATION REQUIREMENTS
• The stand must be installed on a solid oor. A concrete oor is best.
• The oor should be level.
• A suitable location is protected from direct sunlight and heat sources such as
radiators, baseboard heaters, or cooking appliances.
• Do not install on carpeting.
• The location must have appropriate electrical and gas supply outlets. See the
“Electrical & Gas Supply Requirements” section in your product’s User Manual.
• Do not install in a location where the dryer might come into contact with
combustible materials such as, but not limited to curtains, thick carpet, and/or
any materials that might obstruct ventilation.

INSTALLATION INSTRUCTIONS
STEP 1 - ASSEMBLE STAND
1. Set the stand upright so that the dryer mounting brackets are at the top.

2. Loosen the 6 nuts on the cross brace bolts to allow the braces to slide open.
WARNING
Pinch Hazard
Cross braces will slide and create pinch points during set-up. Keep
hands clear of sliding cross braces and their connection points.
Do not insert finger into moving parts. Doing so may result in severe
injury, cut or pinch.
3. Grasp the left-hand and right-hand sides of the stand as shown. Pull apart. Make
sure the bolts slide all the way to the end of the slot to ensure the stand is open
completely.

4. Cut the ties holding the support braces to the frame, and make sure the bolts in
the cross braces are loose.
5. Fasten the two support braces to the stack stand using the hex-head bolts, at
washers and lock nuts (provided).
6. Using a ” wrench, completely tighten all 4 of the support brace nuts.

7. Using a ½" wrench, completely tighten all 6 of the cross-brace nuts.
NOTE: Use a 7/16" wrench to tighten the pivot nut at the center of the rear cross
brace.

STEP 2 - ATTACH DRYER
1. Remove bottom 2 panel screws from the back of the dryer and discard.

WARNING
Excessive Weight Hazard
Use two or more people to move and install dryer.
Failure to do so can result in death or personal injury.
2. Lift dryer onto the stand and position the dryer so the screw holes align with the
mounting bracket holes.

3. Using the 2 screws and 2 star washers (provided), fasten the dryer to the
mounting brackets. Do not completely tighten screws.

4. Using 2 people, tip the dryer back enough to expose the double-sided tape on
the stand.
5. Remove the paper liner from the double-sided tape.
NOTE: The bottom of the dryer will adhere to the tape, so you need to make sure
the dryer is in the correct position before lowering it onto the tape.

6. Make sure the dryer is ush against the mounting brackets, and then slowly
lower the dryer onto the double sided tape.
7. Completely tighten the 2 screws used to fasten the dryer to the mounting
brackets.

STEP 3 - ATTACH STAND TO WALL
1. Remove the paper liner from the double-sided foam tape on the back of the
support brace.

WARNING
Tip and Utility Rupture Hazard
Stand must be securely assembled, fastened to wall and dryer attached
to stand, per installation instructions.
Failure to do so could result in death, electric shock, personal injury or
property damage.
2. Locate a stud in the wall where you want to place the dryer.
3. Carefully walk the stand and dryer assembly to the location where one of the
holes in the support brace will align with the wall stud.
4. Firmly apply pressure to the length of the support brace to adhere the double-
sided foam tape to the wall.

5. Using the lag bolt and split lock washer (provided), secure the support brace to
the wall stud.

STEP 4 - COMPLETE INSTALLATION
Follow the instructions in both the washer and dryer User Manuals to connect the
appliances to all utilities, the water drain and the dryer vent.
If you need replacement fasteners, call the Haier Customer Satisfaction Center at

entretoises de coulisser en position ouverte.

Les entretoises croisées vont coulisser et créer des points de

croisées coulissantes et de leurs points de connexion.

1. Retirer 2 vis inférieures du panneau de l’arrière de la sécheuse et les jeter.
