Choose Your Connection
There are several ways to connect your television,
depending on the components you want to connect
and the quality of the signal you want to achieve. The
Connecting a VCR
To avoid picture noise (interference), leave an adequate
distance between the VCR and TV.

Connection Option 1
Set VCR output switch to channel 3 or 4 and then tune
the TV to the same channel number.
Connection Option 2
Connect the audio and video cables from the VCR’s
output jacks to the TV input jacks, as shown in the
gure. When connecting the TV to VCR, match the
jack colors (Video = yellow, Audio Left = white, and
Audio Right = red).
Insert a video tape into the VCR and press PLAY on
the VCR. (Refer to the VCR owner’s manual.)
Select the input source with using the INPUT button
on the remote control, and then press

External AV Source Setup
How to connect
Connect the audio and video cables from the•

Connecting a DTV (digital TV)
This TV can receive Digital Over-the-air signals without
an external digital set-top box. However, if you do receive
Digital signals from a digital set-top box or other digital
external device, refer to the figure as shown below.
This TV supports HDCP (High-bandwidth Digital
Contents Protection) protocol for Digital Contents
(480p,720p,1080i).
How to connect
Use the TV’s COMPONENT, VGA or HDMI jack for•
video connections, depending on your set-top box
connector. Then, make the corresponding audio
connections.

Do not look into the optical output port. Looking•
at the laser beam may damage your vision.
Connecting a computer
How to connect
To get the best picture quality, adjust the VGAA
graphics card to 1280s1024.
Use the TV’s VGA or DVI (Digital Visual Interface)B
Audio IN port for audio connections, depending on
your computer connector.
If the graphic card on the computer does not•
output analog and digital RGB simultaneously,
connect only one of either VGA IN or HDMI IN to
display the VGA on the TV.
If the graphic card on the computer does output•
analog and digital RGB simultaneously, set the TV
to either VGA or HDMI; (the other mode is set to
Plug and Play automatically by the TV.)
Then, make the corresponding audio connection.

How to use
Turn on the computer and the TV.A
Use INPUT on the remote control to select VGA orB
HDMI source.
Check the image on your TV. There may be noise

associated with the resolution, vertical pattern,
contrast or brightness in VGA mode. If noise
is present, change the VGA mode to another
resolution, change the refresh rate to another rate
or adjust the brightness and contrast on the menu
until the picture is clear. If the refresh rate of the VGA
graphic card can not be changed, change the VGA
graphic card or consult the manufacturer of the VGA
graphic card.
Note
Use a DVI cable.R
Avoid keeping a fixed image on the TV’s screenR
for a long period of time. The fixed image may
become permanently imprinted on the screen.
The synchronization input form for Horizontal andR
Vertical frequencies is separate.

supports HDMI
How To Connect
Connect the source device to HDMI port of this TVA
with an HDMI cable (not supplied with this product).
No separated audio connection is necessary.

How To Use
If the source device supports Auto HDMI function,•
the output resolution of the source device will be
automatically set to 1280s720p.
If the source device does not support Auto HDMI,•
you need to set the output resolution appropriately.
To get the best picture quality, adjust the output
resolution of the source device to 1280s720p.
Select HDMI input source in input source option of•
Select Main source menu.
When the source device (DVD player or Set Top Box)
supports DVI
How To Connect
Connect the source device to HDMI port of this TVA
with a HDMI-to-DVI cable (not supplied with this
product).
A separated audio connection is necessary.

If the source device has an analog audio outputC
connector, connect the source device audio output to
DVI Audio In port located on the left side of HDMI port.
How To Use
If the source device supports Auto DVI function,•
the output resolution of the source device will be
automatically set to 1280s720p.
If the source device does not support Auto DVI, you•
need to set the output resolution appropriately.
To get the best picture quality, adjust the output
resolution of the source device to 1280s720p.
Press the•INPUT button to select HDMI input source
in input source option of Select Main source menu.
Operation
In the manual, the OSD (on screen display) may be
dierent from your TV’s, because it is just an example to
help you with the TV operation.
There are several options you might need to set up in
order for your TV to work properly. Read the instructions
that follow.
Switching On/O the TV set
First, connect power cord correctly.A
Select the viewing source by usingBINPUT button on
the remote control.
When finished using the TV, press

the remote control. The TV reverts to standby mode.
If you intend to be away on vacation, disconnect the

power plug from the wall power outlet.
Note
If the TV in power on , the screen show informationR
according the type of input signal. If there is no
signal, “No Signal” will display on the screen.

When you start using your set for the first time, you must
select the language which will be used for displaying
menus and indications.

Change the picture source so you can watch your TV,
VCR, Cable , or any other devices that are connected to
your TV.
Press INPUT button to enter the Input Source menu

MTS/SAP : This TV can receive MTS stereo programs and
SAP (Secondary Audio Program) that accompanies the
stereo program.( if the station transmits an additional
sound signal as well as the original one.)
When having selected MTS/SAP button on the remote
control, this TV can only receive the signal when the TV
station transmits the proper signals.
Mono sound is automatically received if the broadcast is only
in Mono; even though Stereo or SAP has been selected.
Select Mono if you want to listen to mono sound during
stereo/ SAP broadcasting. Stereo or SAP can be received
in a Analog channel.
Use
AMTS/SAP button to select your desired MTS
mode in a analog signal.
Each time you press•
MTS/SAP
button, Mono,
Stereo or SAP appear. If other languages are
available on the digital signal, select them with the
MTS/SAP
button.
PressBEXIT button to save and return to TV viewing.
Channel menu
Display channel menu by pressing INPUT button then
This will increase or decrease Warm (red) and Cool
(blue) colors to suit personal preferences.
Select Cool to give the white colors a blue tint,
Standard to give the white colors a neutral tint, Warm
to give the white colors a red tint.
Aspect RatioY
To change the aspect ratio: Full Screen, 4:3, Auto,
Cinema, Zoom and just scan.
You can also press P.SIZE button on the remote control to
select the option.

Automatically lters out and reduces the image
noise and improves picture quality when receiving
weak video signals: On or O.

Lock Menu
Parental Control can be used to block specic channels,
ratings and other viewing soure.

Supported le formats:

Movie: *.AVI,*.mpg,*.DAT,*.TS,*.MOV,*.mp4,*.VOB;•
TEXT: *.txt•
Note
Due to the particularity of le coding, some les✲
may be unable to read.
The USB Movie player can surpport codes as✲
MPEG2, MPEG2_HD,MPEG4,MPEG4_HD,H.264.
when its coding doesn't include in the codes
upwards.
Supported equipment:
Support the equipment that supports Mass
Storage Protocol and whose le system is FAT32,
such as some USB disks and mobile harddisks.
If USB equipment could not be identied due
to unsupported le system, please format the
equipment to the above-mentioned le system.
To achieve smooth playing, ensure the following:
The le code rate should be lower than 300KB/S;•
Due to the limitation of USB signal transmission•
distance, it is recommended not to use USB patch
cord, in case of using the cord, make sure that its
length is not over 1m;
Use high-speed USB equipment in conformity•
with USB2.0 full speed Interface Standard; If USB
equipment in conformity with USB1.1 full speed
Interface Standard is used, the playing may be
unsmooth.
When connecting/removing the USB
device
Press INPUT on the remote control unit to select
USB option.
Insert USB equipment into corresponding USB
interface 2s after starting the system.
After entering the system menu, press /on the
remote control unit to select the require USB les,
press OK button to conrm the selection and enter
the le list relative to the selection.
Press /on the remote control unit to select the
required le, press ENTER button to enter the selected
le.
To exit the streaming media playing system and
watch a TV program, you must press EXIT button to
return to the streaming media main menu at rst (to
protect equipment), and then press INPUT to select
AIR or Cable to return to the TV mode.

Under source of USB, when✱press button MENU,
screen goes black, except when images or movies

While playing the USB, press✱EXIT button repeatly,
the screen picture will return to USB main
interface, and only at this time you can switch
corresponding signal sources by pressing INPUT
again.
Please do not unplug the USB device when the✱
connected USB storage device is working. When such
device is suddenly separated or unplugged, the stored
les or the USB storage device may be damaged.
Operating the USB device
Press/to scroll through main menu or submenu
and select your desired option.
Press OK to conrm your selection.
Press /to achieve the FWD (fast forward) and
REV (fast back) of the option being played.
Press to play, and press it again to pause playing.
Press ZOOM to magnify pictures; when the picture is
enlarged, press /and /to move the picture.
Press EXIT repeatedly to return to the main menu.

Playing a Picture
After entering USB main interface, press /to
select PHOTO item.
Press ENTER to conrm the selection and enter the
picture le list.
Press /to select the picture you want to play,
press ENTER to conrm, and then press button to
play the pictures.
If you want to pause the picture which is being
palyed, press the button again.
Press ZOOM to magnify the picture. When the
picture is enlarged, press /and /to move
the picture.
Press / to select the last or next picture.
To exit playing, just press EXIT repeatedly.
Note
The menu display varies with the photo name and✲
pixel in your equipment.
Playing Music
After entering USB main interface, press /to
select MUSIC item.
Press ENTER to conrm the selection and enter the
music le list.
Press /and ENTER button to select the music
you want to play, then press button to play the
music.
Press /to achieve the REV (fast back) and FWD
(fast forward) of the music being played.
Press / to select the last or next music.
Press the red button on the remote control to stop
the music being played, when the current interface
is the music being played.
To return to the main menu, just press EXIT
repeatedly.

You can enjoy the music and the picture at the✲
same time.

Atter entering USB main interface, press /to
select Movie item.
Press ENTER to conrm the selection and enter the
movie le list.
Press /and ENTER button to select the movie
you want to play, and then press button to play
the movie.
Press / to select the last or next movie.
To exit playing, just press EXIT repeatedly.
Text
After entering USB main interface, press /to
select Text item.
Press ENTER to conrm the selection and enter the
text le list.
Press /and ENTER button to select the text you
want to play, and then press button to play the
text.
Press / to select the last or next text.
To exit the Text mode, just press EXIT repeatedly.

Using External USB
Disk For Recording
Insert the USB device with FAT32 format into the
USB1 connector. Then, press MENU button.
Note
Only USB1 is available for recording.✟
Press button to select FUNCTION menu, press
button to enter .
Press button to select Recorder. Press OK
button to enter the submenu.
Press button to Select Disk and press or OK
button to enter. Press button to select disk if
your device has several disks.
Press button to select Format and press to
enter. Press button to select the size you want
to format. Press OK button to format the USB Disk.

device formatting function is up to 2TB. The max
Multi-Partition is 16 partitions and one is active at

The system can not work normally if the USBO
device have the listing problem below:

The device reports the unfaithful size.•
IMPORTANT
USB device should be format as FAT32 format by•
your PC before insert to the USB connector.
RECORDING
Press D.MENU button to record the program being
played, and press D.MENU or EXIT button to make
the recording interface minimum.
Press STOP button to stop the program recording
being played.
For Playback the recorded program. Press INDEX
button to open the recorded list.
Maintenance
Maintenance
Early malfunctions can be prevented. Careful and regular
cleaning can extend the amount of time you will have
the power cord before you begin any cleaning.
Cleaning the Screen
for a while. Wet a soft cloth in a mixture of lukewarm
water and a little fabric softener or dish washing
detergent. Wring the cloth until it’s almost dry, and
then use it to wipe the screen.
then let it air-dry before you turn on your TV.
Cleaning the Cabinet
To remove dirt or dust, wipe the cabinet with a soft, dry,
lint-free cloth. Please be sure not to use a wet cloth.
Extended Absence
If you expect to leave your TV dormant for a long time
(such as a vacation), it’s a good idea to unplug the power
cord to protect against possible damage from lightning
or power surges.
