Watching TV Program
You can watch TV program in a presetting channel.
How to select the desired program
1Using "Digits buttons.
"
Directly enter the channel number with the numeric keypad on the remote control.
If to select channel numbers of double-digit or three-figure ,press continuously the
numeric buttons in three second.
2Using CH+/- button.
Press the CH+ button to select a channel number in number increasing direction.
Press the CH- button to select a channel number in number decreasing direction.
How to select the desired sound
Press VOL+/- button on the remote or the front of the TV set to adjust the volume level.
The range is 0~100.
When the volume button are pressed the volume level is displayed automatically on the
TV screen.

How to select picture modes
Youcan quickly selectthe desired picturemode from three preset modes andone
customized mode.
Press the P.STD button to select the desired picturequality. Four kinds of picture modes
(i.e., "Standard","Bright", "Soft","User" ) can be selected inturn.
1Press MENU button and then use VOL+/- button to select
Picture menu .
2Press CH+/- button to select the item to be adjusted, then
press VOL+/- button to obtain the desired effect.

Contrast
This will adjustthe intensity of bright parts inthe picture
but keep thedark parts unchanged.
Brightness
This will adjustthe light output of the completepicture,
which will mainlyaffect the darker areas ofthe picture.
Tint (selectable in NTSCmode only)
Allows you toselect the color mix (Tint) of the picture.
Color
This will adjustthe saturation level of the colorsto suit your personal preference.
Sharpness
This will adjustthe sharpness of fine details inthe picture.
Color temperature
This will increaseor decrease Warm (red) and Cool (blue) colors tosuit
personal preferences.
Select Cool to give thewhite colors a blue tint, Standard to give thewhite
colors a neutraltint, Warm to give thewhite colors ared tint.
Reset
Torecover to the default value.

Picture Control Functions
Aspect Ratio Control
Press the ZOOM button the Aspect Ratio menuappearance
on the screen.
4:3 mode
Choose 4:3 when you wantto view a picture with anoriginal 4:3
aspect ratio, withgray bars appearing at both theleft and right
sides.
Full Screen
Choose Full Screen when you want to adjust thepicture
horizontally, in a linear proportion to fillthe entire screen.
Cinema mode
Choose cinema modewhen you view the film pictureto
be altered, thetop black band will disappear.
Panorama mode
Choose cinema modewhen you wand to adjust thepicture in
non-linear proportion, thatis, more enlarged at right andleft
sides and noalteration at central portion.
Note:1. If afixed image is displayed on the screen for along
time, it imagemay become imprinted on the screen and
remain visible.
2. In PCmode, there are only 4:3 and Full screen modes.

This will adjustthe output ofthe right and left speakers to obtain the
best stereo reproductionfor your listeningposition.
The intermediate valueis 0. Whenindication value of Balance increases
toward+50, sound ofthe right andleft speaker becomes stronger and
weaker, respectively. When indicationvalue of Balance decreases
toward -50, soundof the rightand left speaker becomes weaker and
stronger.

Sound Mode
This select themodes for soundreproduction dependent on the broadcast signals or signals
from external inputsreceived.
Press CH+/- button to SelectSound Mode,
press VOL+/- button to selectthe Music Standard Theater or User.
Treble
This will adjustthe treble outputlevel.
Bass
This will adjustthe bass outputlevel.
Surround
The surround soundfeature expands theaudio listening field wider and deeper to create exceptional
sound quality fromthe TV`s speakers.
Press CH+/- button to SelectSurround, and then pressVOL+/- button to set Surround as Off, Theat r,
Mountain or Valley.
AVC (Automatic Volume Control)
Each broadcasting stationhas its own signal conditions, and so it isnot easy foryou to adjust the volume
every time thechannel is changed. This feature letsyou automatically adjust the volume ofthe desired
channel and reducesthe volume differencesbetween channels and programs, providing a more constant
overall level. Thiswill also reducethe dynamics ofsound.

Sound Control Functions
When you needto pay attention to surrounded sounds,
or there isa telephone calling you or thereare some
guests visiting you,the sound elimination (mute)
function is veryconvenient.
Eliminate Sound
1Press the MUTEbutton on the remote control and"Mute"
type face willdisplay on the lower part ofthe screen. At this
Time, the sound of theTV set is turned off.
2If you wantto recover the sound, press theMUTE button
again or directlypress VOL+ button.

Timer Functions
On/Off Time
Clock
Using on/off Time function,the TV set can automaticallyturn on to a preset programor
shut down ina preset time. When the setis disconnect from the power supplyor is turned
off by the main power, the on/off time looses.
The current timewill only work if the TV set is turned on orin standby. When the set is
disconnect from thepower supply or is turned off by themain power onthe rear panel,
the current timelooses power and will need tobe reset when the power isreconnected.
1Press MENU button and then use VOL+/- button to select
Timer menu .
2Press CH+/- button to select Clock, and then press
to select hour or minute position, and then press the digits
button to set the value of hour or minute.
3Press MENU button to return to the previous menu.

digits button toset the value of hours orminutes.
2Press CH+/- button to selectOn Channel, then press
VOL+/- button to selectyour desired channel.

Remind Time and Remind Channel
Program remind Time, that displays an on-screen reminder prompt, when a
program on adifferent channel is due to start.
1Press MENU button and then use VOL+/- button to select
Timer menu .
2Press CH+/- button to select Remind Time, and then press
VOL+/- button to select hour or minute position, and then
press the digits button to set the value of hour or minute.
3Press CH+/- button to select Remind Channel, and then
VOL+/- button to select the channel number.

H-Position
Horizontal position ofpicture can be adjusted in this item.
V-Position
Vertical positionof picture can be adjusted inthis item.
Clock
This is usedfor adjusting H Position and VPosition as well
as relative parametersin PC modes.
Phase
This is usedfor adjusting the phase of pixelclock in PC mode.
RGB
This is usedfor adjusting the value of RGBin PC mode.
Auto Adjust
This is usedto reset the default setting parameters(After
the operation,Auto Adjusting will be display on the screen).
Torecover to the default value.
(Note: Only torecover the RGB to default valuein PC mode. )

Note:
1.As adjusting Hposition or V position parameter,It is
natural that thepicture will have faintness once ina
while if therange is more, then to adjustcontrarily to
normal position.
2.As the frequencyof display differ in PCdevice you
may select theappropriate frequency to obtain desired
effect. If the signal ofreceive is excess,the picture can
be not displayedor wrong on the screen.

The initial password of thetelevision is 0000.When the
password achieved, theLock Set menu will display on
the screen.(as follow)
Note: If thepassword is not correctly entered, youwill
be required toreenter the password and the cursorwill
stay at thefirst place.

How to use the password function
To set new Password
The television hasthe function of security default lock.Password needs to be entered
when the programlock mode is to be set.
The password canbe changed.
After enteringthe Lock set menu, Press CH+/- button to
select Change password, Press VOL+ button, the screen
will display thefollow.
Press the digitbuttons, If correct password is entered,the
Change OK willdisplay on the screen, at thistime, the old
password will bechanged.
Source Lock
Source Lock willcontrol the ON or OFF ofhinder external input modes.
Press VOL+/- button to setas on or off.
When the sourcelock is set as on, TV source will display, at this time,when press TV/AV
button, the TV can not switch to correspondingsource and the Source Lock willdisplay
on the screen.
Note: The Tuning Lock and Source Lockwill be only
useful in TV mode.

Press CH+/- button to selectChild Lock.
Press VOL+/- button to set On or Off mode. If lock on mode is set, Child Lock
is in activated automatically. In such case, if Child Lock button (button on the
television) is pressed, the screen will display Child Lock, which can be
erased by press of MENU button. The Child Lock mode can be resumed by
entering Lock Setmenu, set ChildLock On or Off.
