Safety Warnings
1. Use only the power supply and voltage indicated on the label.
2. A three-prong power cord is included. Confirm that the ground terminal of the wall outlet is well grounded
before installation. Route the power cord away from passageways to avoid treading; also keep away from
areas where the cord may get pressed.
3. Do not overload the power outlet.
4. In case of thunderstorms, pull out the power plug and network cable to avoid damage.
5. If the panel is to be unused for a long period of time, please power it off and pull out the power plug.
6. If there is an abnormal sound or smell, please power the panel off immediately and pull out the power
plug.
7. Keep away from flammable and explosive materials.
8. Be careful to prevent any liquid or metal objects from entering the panel. If liquid or metal objects do enter
the panel, stop using it and contact the maintenance personnel as soon as possible.
9. When the panel is moved from a low temperature environment to a warmer temperature environment,
condensation may form inside. If this occurs, the panel should remain unplugged for at least 24 hours prior
to powering up the panel.
10. When lifting and moving the panel, handle it with at least two persons. Avoid impact to the panel.
11. To avoid injury, install the panel according to the mounting instructions.
12. Do not place the panel:
a. In direct sunlight, moisture, high/low temperature, or dusty environments.
b. In poorly ventilated or fully enclosed mounts
c. Where flammable or explosive material is present.
d. Where any combustible or corrosive gas is present.
13. In order to avoid the risk of explosion, do not expose any batteries to sunlight, fire, or high temperature.
Precautions
•Do not attempt to disassemble/assemble this product as you may get exposed to the dangerous voltage or
other electronic hazards. If necessary, please contact the maintenance personnel.
•If the product is dirty, first disconnect the power plug, then wipe the surface with a slightly damp cloth. Do
not apply force while wiping the display screen as it may scratch the screen. Do not wipe with such solvents
as alcohol, gasoline, acid, alkali, detergent, volatile oil and diluents as these solvents may damage the panel.
•Condensation may appear inside the screen in high humidity. This is a normal phenomenon as temperature
differences between the external and internal glass surface may lead to water droplets on the internal glass
surface. These droplets will disappear automatically after 24 hours of normal use.
•Do not insert any sharp or metal object into the vent or touch the signal connectors with any sharp or metal
object. Short circuits and/or electric shock can be caused.
•Do not exert pressure on the screen as it is made of glass.
•Do not place the product on an unsteady portable mount, shelf, or table.
•Openings on the panel are designed for heat dissipation to ensure good performance. Vents should not be
covered with objects such as curtains as they may impede proper ventilation.
•Do not allow a still picture or an active picture containing stationary text or icons to remain on the screen for
too long. This will leave a “ghost” image on the screen and will not disappear after shutdown.

Installation
INSTALLATION
Note: Before installation, please ensure the device is disconnected from the power source.
To install the device on the wall:
1. After unpackaging the IFP, remove the Wall Hanging Bracket from the back of the IFP by removing
the two screws.
2. Place the included Wall Hanging Bracket against the wall and, after leveling the bracket, mark the
four holes to be drilled. Drill the four holes and insert the sheet rock expansion screws (as needed).
Secure the Wall Hanging Bracket to the wall using the mounting screws provided.
3. Install the two panel mounts to the back of the display’s VESA receiving screws using the mounting
screws provided.
4. Using at least two people to lift the panel, lift and hang the display mounts to the wall mount.

Application Wiring Examples
In addition to being a standalone interactive flat panel, the Hall Vision Interactive Flat Panels can be used
in various applications with additional technology products. The following shows a few of those examples
with the benefits of each.
INTEGRATION WITH HT-TRK1
This application is perfect for classrooms and training rooms as it integrates with multiple technology
products shown in the diagram, with the HT-TRK1 solution at the core, providing simple control of source
switching and volume control. By using microphones and loudspeakers, teachers can ensure that all
students can hear them clearly and maintain classroom discipline. With document cameras and
interactive flat panels, teachers can provide visual aids and real-time demonstrations that help students
better understand complex concepts. PTZ cameras connecting to soft codec applications such as Google
Meet, Microsoft Teams, and Zoom enable remote learning and collaboration opportunities, allowing
students to connect with experts from all over the world. Wireless presentation capabilities with HT-
RANGER also allow teachers to showcase student work, facilitating collaboration and creativity.

INTEGRATION WITH HT-CALIPSO
This application includes similar features as the HT-TRK1 solution but intended for smaller classrooms,
training rooms, and conference rooms. With the HT-CALIPSO’s built-in camera, microphones, and
speakers, integrated with the Hall Vision IFP, teachers and instructors can take provide interactive lessons
that can be heard by all in the room and on a soft codec video call.
INTEGRATION WITH HT-ODYSSEY
Integration with HT-ODYSSEY is similar to the integration with HT-CALIPSO but brings the microphone,
speakers, and laptop connections to the table. Touch signals on the Hall Vision Interactive Flat Panel
pass through the HDBaseT receiver back to the HT-ODYSSEY and into the connected laptop.

Basic Operations –Startup / Standby
STARTUP

Flip on the power switch, located on the bottom of the panel. With this switch set to
“ON” the panel can be powered up fully or go into standby mode.

STANDBY
•If there is no source input detected within 15 minutes, the panel will automatically into standby
mode
•Exception:
oIf the panel is in the main Android interface, even if there is no source input detected for
15 minutes, the panel will not enter into standby mode
•Before the panel enters standby mode, the Hall Vision panel will save the picture and sound
settings. Upon restart these settings will be used.

Basic Operations –Sidebar Buttons
SIDEBAR BUTTONS OVERVIEW
The sidebar buttons can be accessed on either side of the panel by clicking on the gray arrow key. Once
pressed the following list of sidebar buttons will appear.

Description
Acts as an escape key to return to the previous screen/menu.
Switch to the Android home page.
Switch to the OPS source (optional).
Access Source Settings and Source Preview page.
Access system settings and applications, such as S-Write, File Manager, File Transfer,
Browser, Specifications, WPS, K-Share, and Cloud Disk.
Opens a window to make a comment.
Opens the Utility menu for various installed utilities, such as Countdown Day,
Calculator, Vote, Screenshot, Screen recorder, Stopwatch, Touch Lock, Spotlight, and
Touch Sound.
Screen drop-down button to move the screen content down to half of the panel
height.
Multi-task Manager button to view and manage background-running processes.

SWITCHING SOURCES
There are two methods for switching sources:
Method 1: Remote Control
1. Press the “Signal Source” ( ) key on the remote controller
2. Use the navigation keys to select the desired source and click “OK”
Method 2: Sidebar Button
1. Open the Sidebar Button menu and click the “Source Settings” icon ( )
2. On the screen touch the desired source to switch to that source

Video Quality
Opens a menu for adjusting picture quality and color temperature:
•Picture Mode: user can adjust Brightness, Saturation, Contrast, and Sharpness
•Color Temperature: user can adjust to preset temperatures of Standard, Warm and
Cool
Audio Settings
Volume, channel balance, bass, and treble controls. (See next section for more detail.)
Auto select source on
connection
Provides two options for when a source is connected:
•Auto Jump: automatically switches to the newly connected source.
•Pop-up Prompt: opens a prompt asking if user would like to change to the newly
connected source.
Auto select when no signal
When enabled, the source will automatically switch to Android when there is no signal on
any of the other inputs.
Rename Source
Allows user to change the names of each of the sources.
Source When Power On
Changes the input to the designated source when the panel powers on.
Source Lock
Locks a designated source.
No signal Auto Shutdown
Shuts down the panel when there is no signal on a source input. (Does not automatically
shut down when on the Android home page.)
HDMI EDID
Select between HDMI EDID 1.4 or EDID 2.0.
CEC for Automatic Startup
When enabled, the IFP automatically starts up when an HDMI source turns on.
CEC for Automatic
Shutdown
When enabled, the IFP automatically shuts down when an HDMI source shuts down.

AUDIO SETTINGS
UI Element
Description
Volume
Increases or decreases the volume of the built-in loudspeakers. (This is the same as if
pressing the physical volume buttons on the front of the IFP.)
Channel Balance
At zero the audio is balanced evenly between the left and right loudspeakers. Changing
this moves audio to the left or right loudspeaker depending on the change.
Bass
Increases or decreases the low frequencies to the loudspeakers.
Treble
Increases or decreases the higher frequencies to the loudspeakers.

SCREEN DROP-DOWN
Selecting the screen drop-down icon ( ) in the sidebar menu moves the entire screen down. This
feature makes it easier to touch buttons at the top of the IFP.
MULTITASK MANAGER
Select the sidebar menu and click the file icon ( ) to view and manage background running
processes. Press the ‘X’ to close an application.

Basic Operations –System Settings
To access System Settings, click on the applications sidebar button ( ).
NETWORK AND CONNECTION
UI Element
Description
Wireless
Enables or disables the wireless network connection. Click + to add a network.
Ethernet
Enables or disables the wired network connection. By default “Auto” (DHCP) mode is
enabled. This can be changed to static where the IP address can be specifically chosen.
The MAC address of the IFP is also displayed in this page.
Hotspot
Enables or disables the hotspot feature.
•Hotspot Name: Provide a name for the hotspot for guests to search for.
•Encrypted: If enabled, guests will not be able to connect to the hotspot without first
entering the password.
•Channel: Changes the Wi-Fi channel to be broadcast on.
•QR Code Share: When enabled it provides users with a QR code to quickly connect to
the Hotspot.
Bluetooth
Enables or disables the Bluetooth feature.

VOLUME AND DISPLAY
To access Volume and Display settings, click on the applications sidebar settings button ( ).

WALLPAPER
To access Wallpaper, click on the applications sidebar settings button ( ).

Wallpaper
Select from pre-loaded wallpaper, or add new wallpaper.
Note: The format of wallpaper should be PNG, and the resolution should be 1920x1080 or
3840x2160. (To maintain best performance of the IFP, keep the file size smaller.)
Wallpaper Shuffling
Select how often wallpaper shuffles. Options are Off, 10 Minutes, 30 Minutes, 1 Hour, or 6
Hours.
