7. Do not block any ventilation openings. Install in
accordance with manufacturer’s instructions.
8. Do not install near any heat sources such as radia-
tors, heat registers, stoves, or other apparatus
(including amplifiers) that produce heat.
9. Do not defeat the safety purpose of the polarized
or grounding-type plug. A polarized plug has two
blades with one wider than the other. A grounding-
type plug has two blades and a third grounding
prong. The wide blade or the third prong are pro-

CAUTION
• If the remote control is not used for a long period, remove the batteries
and store it properly.
• Handle damaged batteries carefully, and wash hands with
soap if they come in contact with leaked chemical fluids.
• If your remote control has two batteries, do not mix new and old
batteries or the life of the new batteries will be shortened. Chemical
fluids may leak from the old batteries.
• Danger of explosion if battery is incorrectly replaced. Replace only with
the same or equivalent type recommended by the equipment
manufacturer. Discard used batteries according to manufacturer’s
instructions.
• Refer to your local recycling or waste disposal rules and contact a local
waste disposal vendor to dispose of used batteries.
• The remote control cover may have a magnet in it, so do not place
magnetic sensitive items such as watches, credit cards, or flash media
close to the cover.
• Do not use force when pulling the remote control cover open; you may
damage the hinge.

table specified by the manufacturer, or sold with
the apparatus. When a cart is used, use caution

Preface
Thank you for purchasing a Hannspree Digital Photo Frame. Your new DPF will
allow you to view your favorite photographs complete with audio while enriching
your lifestyle with advanced technology.
Please carefully read this manual in its entirety before setting up, using or opera-
ting your DPF. To ensure the safe and correct installation and operations of the
DPF, it is important that the safety and operation instructions in this manual are
followed.
This instruction manual is designed to assist you in setting up and using the DPF.
The information in this manual has been carefully checked for accuracy; however,
no guarantee is given to the correctness of the contents. The information in this

Connecting Power
Inserting SD/MMC/MS/MS-Pro Card
Connect the Digital Photo Frame to the power adapter and mains
power as shown.
Insert a SD/MMC/MS/MS-Pro Card into the card slot as shown.
Note:
1. The stand can adjustable two position, 0 and 90 degree. (Figure 1)
2. To avoid collapse of your DPF, place it firmly on the desk with the stand extended at an angle
of 20 degrees. This allows you to view images and operate the DPF with ease. (Figure 2)

Connect a DIgital camera to the USB port on your Digital Photo Frame
as shown.

displayed on the main screen. Use /

need, press confirm. Press to

Viewing your photos
• Press to stop playback/return to File Manager
• Press to pause playback
• Press to skip to the next image
• Press to skip to the previous image
• Press to zoom in and out. Press once to enlarge the image by 150%,
twice by 200%, three times to reduce the image to 50%, four times to
reduce the image to 100%, and a fifth time to return to full screen size.
• Press to rotate the image 90 degrees anti-clockwise, press to rotate
the image 90 degrees clockwise, press to mirror the image, and press
to flip and invert the image.
Slide show mode:
On entering the photo
function, photographs
are automatically
displayed in a continuous
slide show. To stop the
side show, press .
Thumbnail mode:
If you chose thumbnail
mode under Browse

Managing Files
Select Favorite from the main screen to go to slide show mode and display all
the stored screen saver images.
JPG image preview:
When a JPG image file
has been selected, a
small preview image of it
will appear at the bottom
left hand corner in File
Manager, together with
additional, relevant
image information.
MP3 Playback:
When an MP3 file has
been selected, the
audio spectrum of it
will appear in the
bottom left hand
corner in File
Manager, together
with additional,
relevant file
information.
MPEG-1/MPEG-4
Playback:
MPEG-1/MPEG-4 file
are displayed as shown
above.
When a storage device has been connected to the Digital Photo Frame, the
system will analyze the multimedia formats of the files stored in the device. You
can then use the File Manager to manage the files in the device. During the
playback, press the Stop key to enter the File Manager mode. Press the
Enter key to exit. The multimedia file formats recognized by the File
Manager include JPEG, MP3, MPEG-1 and MPEG-4. The window to the left in
the File Manager is used to manage the folders in the storage device, while the
window to the right will show the files found in the selected folder. Use only
English characters in the file names. File names containing non-English
characters cannot be opened on your DPF device.
