 Do not insert anything through the openings in the unit, where
they can touch dangerous voltage points or damage parts.

to dangerous voltages and other hazards. Refer all servicing to

Do not touch your LCD Display and antenna during thunderstorms

Good ventilation is required
To ensure reliable operation of the product and to protect it from

 Do not place the LCD Display in a cramped and inadequately

 The LCD Display should be at least 10 cm clear of the wall or
furniture and that the ventilation is always kept clean.
 Do not place the LCD Display upside down at any time.

Important Safety Instructions
Read these instructions carefully and save them for future reference.
1. Follow all warnings and instructions marked on the LCD Display.
2. Do not use the LCD near water.
3. Unplug the LCD Display from the wall outlet before cleaning. Do not use liquid cleaners
or aerosol cleaners. Clean only with dry cloth.
4. Do not block any ventilation openings. Install in accordance with the manufacturer’s
instructions.
5. Do not install near any heat sources such as radiators, heat registers, stoves, or other
apparatus (including amplifiers) that produce heat.
6. Do not defeat the safety purpose of the polarized or grounding–type plug. A polarized
plug has two blades with one wider than the other. A grounding type plug has two blades
and a third grounding prong. The wider blade or the third prong are provided for your
safety. If the provided plug does not fit into your outlet, consult an electrician for
replacement of the obsolete outlet.
7. Protect the power cord from being walked on or pinched particularly at plugs,
convenience receptacles, and the point where they exit from the apparatus.
8. Use only the proper type of power supply cord set (provided in your accessories box) for
this LCD Display. Only use attachments/accessories specified by the manufacturer.
9. Do not place the LCD Display on an unstable cart, stand or table. If the product falls. It
could be seriously damaged. When a cart is used, use caution when moving the
cart/apparatus combination to avoid injury from tip-over.
10. Unplug this apparatus during lightening storms or when unused for long periods of time.

Introduction
Thank you for purchasing the LT32" LCD TV set. This LCD TV can be used either as a television
or as a computer monitor. With its multiple input options, you can connect almost any device
(e.g. VCRs, DVD players and game consoles) to this display. You can also connect your display
to a stereo system, to experience the ultimate in home entertainment. This manual has been
designed to help you install and operate your display properly. We recommend that you read it
thoroughly.

Getting Started
Package Contents
Please prepare a suitable workspace before unpacking your LCD TV. A steady, level and clean
surface near an electrical wall outlet is required. Set the LCD TV box in an upright position and
open from the top of the box before removing the right/left cushions. When opening the LCD TV
box, do not damage the box when unpacking the LCD TV, as you may need the box and all
packing materials for future shipping use.
When unpacking the box, check the following items are included in the box and are in good
condition. If you find that any of the items are missing or appear damaged, please contact your
dealer immediately.

Using the Remote Control
The remote control allowing user to gain more controls on each aspect of the LCD functionalities
than the front panel.

POWER Press to turn the LCD TV power On/Off
DISPLAY Press to display current information of the input
source.
TV Press to switch source back from any other
source to TV mode.
SOURCE Press to select the input sources: TV, AV, S,
Scart 1, Scart 2, VGA, HDMI, YPbPr
SLEEP
Press to set the sleep timer to turn off the display:

PICTURE Press to select Picture Effect. Then press e/fto

SOUND
Press to select the sound enhancement modes.

PIP: Start the PIP function. (only valid in VGA,

Installing the LCD TV
Basic Connections
Step 1. Positioning the TV set
Place the LCD TV set on a solid and stable surface.
To avoid malfunctions, do not expose the LCD TV to
water or a heat source and do not obstruct the
ventilation grid at the back of the LCD TV.
Step 2. Connecting the aerials
Use the antenna or coaxial cable to connect with the
TV tuner socket situated at the back of the LCD TV.

Step 3. Connecting the power cable
Plug the power cord into the wall socket and turn on
the power switch.
Step 4. Remote control
Insert the two AAA/UM4-type batteries
supplied and make sure that the +/-
ends are properly connected.
Step 5. Setting up the TV
Follow the instructions on the "Using the LCD TV" section to set up the LCD TV for using
the first time.

Quick Installation
Channel Search
“Search” allows user to scan for all available viewable channels.

Press MENU and press dto enter the system menu.

Select your country and language.
Available country: GB(Great Britain), F(France), D(Germany), I(Italy), E(Spain),
P(Portugal), CZ(Czech), DK(Denmark), FIN(Finland), NL(Netherlands), PL(Poland),
IRL(Ireland), A(Austria), CH(Switzerland), B(Belgium), S(Sweden), N(Norway),
GR(Greece), TR(Turkey)
Available language: English, French, German, Italian, Spanish, Portuguese, Czech,
Danish, Finish, Dutch, Polish, Russian, Swedish

Select the System Submenu then do the Reset.

Do Search to do the channel searching. The LCD TV will then start scanning for
available and viewable channels and a dialog showing the progress will then appears on
the screen.

Using the LCD TV
Basic Operations
Turning the Power On/Off
Press POWER on the remote control or on the front panel to turn on the LCD TV. The power
indicator changes from red to green. When the power is off, the power indicator changes from
green to red.
Selecting the Source
Press SOURCE on the remote control or on the front panel to select the input signal by the list.
TV, AV, S, Scart 1-AV, Scart 1-S, Scart 1-RGB, Scart 2-AV, VGA, HDMI, YPbPr/YCbCr
TV Button
Press TV on the remote control can switch back to the TV mode immediately from any other
input modes.
Adjusting the Volume
Press Vol+ on the remote control or Volfon the front panel to increase the volume. Press Vol-
on the remote control or Voleon the front panel to decrease the volume.
Changing Channels
Press CHc/CHdon the remote control or on the front panel to browse through the channels.
Press CHcto go to the next channel, or CHdto go to the previous channel. User may enter the
channel number directly using number buttons on the remote control.
List
Press FAV on the remote control to go in the channel 01~99 list. The left side is the channel
number , the right side is the channel name. If you want to rearrange the channel order, first
press c/dto select the channel then press fto make a yellow mark then press c/dagain to
go to channel you want to swap. Press eto do the swap.
OSD Menu Settings
Open the OSD menu to specify various settings for the LCD TV. Some basic operations when
using the OSD menu includes:
yPress MENU to open/close the OSD menu.
yPress d/cto select the different item in the OSD menu, press fto enter the submenu.
yPress d/cto select the different item in the submenu, press for e/fto adjust the settings.
y Press MENU again to exit the OSD menu.

Main Menu
There are five main items in the OSD Menu:

Picture Menu
Picture settings:
 Brightness: Adjust to a higher value to make the video brighter. The default setting is
40.
 Contrast: Adjust to a higher value to create higher contrast. The default setting is 18.
 Color: Adjust the color intensity. The default setting is 24.
 Sharpness: Adjust to a higher value to make the colors more sharp. The default
setting is 2.
 Color Temperature (Tone) : Select from Standard, Warm or Cold.
 Format (Form): Select picture ratio from 16:9, panorama, 4:3 or 4:3 Expanded.
Note: YPbPr, VGA and HDMI modes can only support 16:9 and 4:3.

Sound settings:
 Volume: Adjusts the volume of the TV.
 Treble: Adjusts the level of high frequency content in the sound.
 Bass: Adjusts the level of low frequency content in the sound.
 Balance: Adjusts the output of the R/L speakers to obtain the best stereo reproduction.
 AVC(Auto Volume): Automatically adjusts the volume when the TV programs change
to commercial advertising, to avoid the sudden Volume increasing from happening.
 MTS (Mode): Select the MTS (Multi-channel Television Sound) TV audio system from:
Mono, Stereo, Dual I or Dual II.
Tuning Menu ( TV mode Only)
TV settings:
 Programme: Enter the number to select the TV programme you want it to locate. The
default value is 01.
 Name: Set the current programme name by entering the number or up/down buttons.
 Channel: Enter the number to select the channel by frequency (C01~C92, S00~S58).
The default value is C02.
 Frequency: Select to fine tune manually for the best TV Signal reception.
 Color System: PAL or SECAM can be selected. The defaulted setting is PAL.
 Sound System: BG, DK, I, L, can be selected. The defaulted setting is BG
 Search: Select to scan for available channel from TV source.

System Menu
System settings:
Language: Select to choose between English, French, Spanish, German, Italian,
Portuguese, Czech, Danish, Finish, Dutch, Polish, Russian and Swedish as the
language for the OSD menu and any message display.
 Country: Select to choose among GB(Great Britain), F(France), D(Germany), I(Italy),
E(Spain), P(Portugal), CZ(Czech), DK(Denmark), FIN(Finland), NL(Netherlands),
PL(Poland), IRL(Ireland), A(Austria), CH(Switzerland), B(Belgium), S(Sweden),
N(Norway), GR(Greece), TR(Turkey).
 System Submenu
OSD Transparency: Adjust the OSD level transparency by value 0~8. The minimum
value (0) is maximally transparent.
Backlight: Adjust the Panel backlight by value 0~16.
Noise Reduction:
TV signal dynamic noise reduction switch
 Child Lock
1. Before Setting Lock
New password for entering a new 4-digit number password.
Confirm password for entering the password again for confirmation.
Lock for defining the range you lock. “No” means to lock nothing. “All” means to
lock all signal sources. “TV” means to lock TV signal only. “AV+HD” means to
lock all signal source except TV signal.
2. After Setting Lock
Enter password for entering the password you have set to change the lock settings.
 Scart Output (AV output):
Select the output source.TV, AV, and Scart2 can be selected.
 Reset: To return the defaulted settings, but exclude
language/country/channel/scart-out and locking signal source items.

Calibration Menu
PC settings (VGA mode only):
 H-Position: Change the picture’s horizontal position. Value -16~+16 can be selected.
The defaulted setting is 0.
 V-Position: Change the picture’s horizontal position. Value -8~+8 can be selected.
The defaulted setting is 0
 Phase: Adjust the A/D sample phase Range. Value 0~32 can be selected. The
defaulted setting is 16.
PIP settings (VGA, HDMI, YPbPr mode only):
Active: To select whether activate PIP or not. The defaulted setting is off.
Sources: Select PIP signal source from TV, AV, S, Scart1 or Scart2.
Positions: Select 4 positions for PIP. 0 for top left-hand, 1 for top right-hand, 2 for
bottom right-hand, 3 for bottom left hand.
The defaulted setting is 0.
PIP Size: Select 3 kinds of PIP size (Small, Medium, and Large) The defaulted
setting is Small.
Sound from PIP: To select whether activate the sound from PIP or not. The
defaulted setting is off.

TeleText
Teletext is an information system broadcast by certain channel which can be consulted like a
newspaper. It’s also offers access to subtitles for viewers with hearing problems or who are
not familiar with the transmission language.
TT on/off
Press this button to turn on and off the teletext. The summery appears with a list items
that can be accessed. Each item has a corresponding 3 digit page number.
Index
Press this button to return to the contents page.
Select a page
Enter the number of the page required using the 0 to 9 or PG-UP/PG-DOWN. If the
counter continues to search, this means that page is not transmitted. Select another
number.
Direct access to the items
Colored areas (R, G, Y, B) are displayed at the button of the screen. The 4 colored keys
are used to access the items or corresponding pages.
Temporary stop
Press Hold for temporary stop. This used to temporarily disable or activate the teletext
display.
Enlarge a page
Press Size to enlarge a page. This allows you to display the top or button part of page
and then return to normal size.
Hidden Information
Press Reveal to hidden information. To display or hide the concealed information.

Troubleshooting
Read the manual thoroughly to ensure the LCD TV operates properly. If the problem persists and
is not self-serviceable, please stop using the LCD TV immediately and contact your dealer or
nearest service center for further assistance.
Cause Remedy
No picture
a) Power indicator does not light
up.
 Make sure the power cord is firmly plugged in the socket.
 Make sure the power switch is turned on.
 Make sure the AC socket has power.
 Check the remote control and its batteries.
No picture
b) Power indicator is green.
 Check if the signal cable is properly connected.
 Increase the Contrast and/or Brightness.
 Make sure the display is ON.
No picture
c) Power indicator is red.
 The screen is on power saving mode (for PC), press any key
or moves the mouse to activate the screen again.
 Make sure the display is on.
 Make sure the signal cable is properly connected.
Unclear picture, Noise
 Make sure the cables are connected properly and a normal
TV signal is received.
 (For Scart) Make sure using the standard qualified Scart
cable.
No Sound
 Make sure the audio cables are properly connected.
 Make sure there is no headphone connects to the LCD.
 Make sure Mute is not set.
 Adjust the Volume.
Display is too dark or too
bright.
 Lower the Contrast and Brightness of the LCD TV or the
input source.
Image does not center on the
display
 Adjust the Image Position in the OSD menu.
Display vibration
 Check if the power voltage is acceptable to specification of
the TV.
 Check if the signal cables are properly connected.
An after-image remains after
the TV is turned off
 This is a characteristic of a liquid crystal display (LCD), it is
not a malfunction and will disappear after a few minutes.
Distorted image
 Make sure the aspect ratio is set properly.
Purple image
 Check if the Proper signal type option is set: Component or
RGB.
Out of Range
 Check if the LCD supports the input signal.
Green, red, blue, white dots
on screen
 This is a characteristic of a liquid crystal display (LCD), it is
not a malfunction and will disappear after a few minutes.
Remote control does not
work
 Check the capacity of the batteries and the orientation (+/-)
of the batteries is correct.
 Remove any obstacles between remote control and the
LCD.
 Check if there is a button stuck or depressed.
 Make sure that the distance of the remote control from the
LCD is at a proper range (6 meters/19 feet).
Lost of password for Parental
Controls
 User must select the submenu Child Lock in the System
Submenu and enter the master password: 9876.User may
set a new password for confirmation.
 Contact the service center for the master password.
