Christmas Light Specific Warnings
Warning! Pay particular attention to hanging the Christmas Lights completely out of reach of
children to avoid risk of burns, electric shock, or injury.
Warning! Before each use inspect the product carefully. Make sure there are no frayed, cut
or worn wires or cords. Check the lampholders for cracks, loose connections, or exposed
copper wire. Do not use the product if any of the aforementioned defects occur.
1. These Christmas Lights have fuses to protect against overload protection. If a short circuit
or overload causes a fuse to blow, immediately unplug the product and any addtional strings
of lights attached to it from the outlet. Replace the fuse (directions to follow in Operation
section). If the replacement fuse blows, a short circuit may be present and you should discard
the product. Discard any lights with frayed or damaged wires.
2. If using these lights outdoors, they must be plugged into a GFCI (Ground Fault Circuit
Interruptor) outlet. If you do not have one at the location, have a qualified electrician install
one.
3. This product is seasonal and not intended for year round use.
4. Do not install this electric product near electric heaters, fireplaces, or any other heat source.
5. When in use, never cover the Christmas lights in cloth, paper, or any other type of material.
6. Make sure not to close a door or window on the Christmas Lights cord or an extension
cord.
7. Never hang anything such as ornaments, string etc. from the Christmas Lights.
8. Install the Lights so that the lamps (bulbs) do not rest on the supply cord.
9. Do not secure the Christmas Lights with nails, staples, or any sharp object that may
penetrate the wire and cause electrical shock or fire.
10. Never leave the Christmas Lights on and unattended.
11. To prevent overheating, replace burned out bulbs promptly with the same wattage bulbs.
Christmas Tree Installation
1. When installing on an artificial or live tree, do not install on trees having needles, branches,

by branches. The string of lights should be well secured and stable.
