Safety Warnings and Precautions
WARNING:When using this product, basic safety precautions should always
be followed to reduce the risk of personal injury and damage to equipment.
Read all instructions before using this product!
1. Keep work area clean. Cluttered areas invite injuries.
2. Observe work area conditions. Do not use this product in damp or wet
locations. Don’t expose to rain. Do not use lamp in the presence of
flammable gases or liquids.
3. Use the right product for the job.There are certain applications for which
this product was designed.It will do the job better and more safely at the rate
for which it was intended.Do not modify this lamp and do not use for a
purpose for which it was not intended.
4. Check for damaged parts. Before using this product, any part that appears
damaged should be carefully checked to determine that it will operate
properly and perform its intended function.Check for any broken parts or
mounting fixtures;and any other condition that may affect proper operation.
Any part that is damaged should be properly repaired or replaced by a
qualified technician.Do not use the lamp if any switch does not turn On and
Off properly.
5. Replacement parts and accessories. When servicing, use only identical
replacement parts.Use of any other parts will void the warranty.Only use
accessories intended for use with this product.Approved accessories are
available from Harbor Freight Tools.

Note: Performance of this lamp may vary depending on variations in local line volt-
age.Extension cord usage may also affect tool performance.

Important Safety Instructions
This product has a polarized plug (one blade is wider than the other) as a
feature to reduce the risk of electric shock.This plug will fit in a polarized
outlet only one way.If the plug does not fit fully in the outlet,reverse the
plug. If it still does not fit, contact a qualified electrician. Never use with
an extension cord unless plug can be fully inserted. Do not alter the plug.
Unpacking
When unpacking, check to make sure the following parts are included: Lamp
Assembly and 27 watt floursecent light blub. If any parts are missing or broken,
please call Harbor Freight Tools at the number on the cover of this manual.
Operation
1. Uncoil the Line Cord.
2. Set the Lamp on a table. Be careful not to set the lamp near flammable
materials such as curtains and shafes.
3. Verify that the Light Blub is installed.If it is not, refer to Lamp Replacement,
below.
4. Plug the Line Cord into an electrical outlet.
5. Press the On/Off Switch to the On position, theTable Lamp will light.
Periodically check the Lamp for excessive heat build up. If the Lamp
becomes excessively hot, it should be turned off until it cools down.
Maintenance
LampReplacement
1. Unplug the Lamp Line Cord from the electrical outlet and let bulb cool.
2. Gently pull the end of the Light Blub out from the retaining clip. See photo on
the next page.
3. Pull the Light Bulb out of its lamp socket.

4. Place a new Light Blub of the same type and wattage (not to exceed 27 watts)
into the lamp socket.
The Light Bulb has a keyed socket and can only be inserted one way. If it
cannot be inserted, turn it over and try again.
5. Push the end of the Light Blub into the retaining clip.
6. Plug the Line Cord back into the electrical outlet. Turn on the Lamp to make
sure it works properly. If it does not turn on, unplug and re-check the bulb.
