Ensure that children cannot play with the device.
Do not move the bed from the installation site which has been deemed "safe" by the installer.
While extending and retracting the bed, monitor it visually in order
to detect malfunctions immediately and avoid damage.
A safe installation site must have sufficient space around the system travel path,
so that there is no direct danger caused by getting caught and / or crushing.
When using the device, ensure that there are no objects which may get caught between the moving components.
Do not touch moving components during operation to avoid severe personal injuries / damage to property!
There is a risk of crushing injuries, fractures and / or limbs being severed.
In the event of irregularities or deformation of the moving components,
immediately stop the extending or retracting movement and check the path of movement.
It is prohibited to smoke or handle open flame in close proximity to the device!
Due to the risk of electric shock, a damaged power cable may only be replaced
by the manufacturer or a specialist company.
When installing the system, ensure that there is sufficient space
and provide a sufficiently large safety area!

3. Components of the system

5
The electrical system of controls and
drives consists of five components.
Plug the main electrical connection (1) into
the control block (2). Then plug the block for
emergency lowering (3a) into the control
block and connect the switch (3b) with
housing. Connect the plugs of the drive
motors (5) with the remaining two couplings
on the block of the emergency lowering.
Push the plug of the actuator with the yellow
mark (*) and chain guide (*) into the remaining
coupling on the block of the emergency
lowering. After that connect the hand-held
switch (4) with the control block.
With this hand-held switch the system will be
controlled.

Emergency lowering
Battery: 2 x 9V battery (6LR61)
Control
checked according to EN 60335-1
Type: SCT2-MDT2-SF
Data: 230V 50Hz 2,4A
Work: 2 min
Break: 18 min
As the main power source BELITEC uses the regular system of 220/110V to supply the steering. There is a transformer built in the
control block to change voltage of 220/110 V to ca 30 V to make it not dangerous for people to use the BELITEC.
Secondary power source is two batteries of voltage 9V which are located in the block of the emergency lowering. In case of power
supply failure you can operate the bed with the button of the emergency lowering.
Attention!! In case of power failure.
Do not move the bed out completely to avoid damages to the BELITEC!!
When you use the emergency lowering to move the system out after power supply failure, you have to re - adjust the elctronic
controls. Before you can move the system in again with the regular main power supply push the buttons A + B on the hand - held
switch at the same time and hold. The drives retract the system and stop at the end position (teach - in run).
There is sounding a beep for successful operation.
After that release the buttons.
The BELITEC system works normally again controlled by the hand - held switch.
Battery module
Keep the batteries out of the reach of children!
Do not throw the batteries into fire, short-circuit them, take them apart or charge them. Risk of explosion!
The batteries contain hazardous acids. To prevent the batteries from leaking, replace drained batteries as soon as possible
Do not use old and new batteries or different ones at the same time.
How to handle leaking batteries.
When replacing leaking batteries, wear chemical-resistant gloves and protective goggles!
If at all possible, refrain from touching the leaking battery with your bare skin.
If you have come into contact with the leaked components, wash your hands thoroughly.
Remove the electrolyte residue with a damp rag. Wash any clothing that has come into contact with the electrolytes.

8. Handling of the bed
A
B
This manual is used to help for successful and safe handling of the system.
to intialize
- push the buttons A + B at the same time and hold.
- the drives retract the system and stop at the end position.
- there is sounding a beep for successful operation.
- release both buttons.
regular service
Button A Reclining area is retracted. Press button until the desired position is reached.
Button B Reclining area is extended. Press button until the desired position is reached.
Attention!
In case of a power failure, you can extend the system by pressing the button (*) on the emergency lowering.
Do not extend the bed completely in case of a power failure, as the system may otherwise be damaged.
Only extend and retract the bed while unloaded!
The system is protected against malfunctions and improper handling by an integrated
overload protection in the controls.
After twice run in / out service to take a break time of 18 minutes is required to prevent
the drive motors from overheating!
Attention!
After emergency lowering, initialisation (reset) is required.
If no initialisation is performed after emergency lowering, the control system can no
longer determine the current position of the drives.
The result is that:
- the drives move at full power during operation with the hand switch.
- the virtual limit switches are ignored, causing the drives to move past them.
- the drives will collide with the mechanical limit stops at full power.
- the mechanisms may be overloaded and destroyed.
- there is a risk of injury.
The emergency lowering function is not a safety system intended to prevent danger.
The block batteries only permit emergency lowering a single time, afterwards they must be removed, disposed of and
replaced with new batteries.
