2 Can be positive or negative switched
▪Speaker Connectivity
➢Connect speaker to one of the speaker outputs and the common wire
➢Normal speaker positive feed is ‘Speaker 2’. However, if the vehicle charging
voltage can exceed 14.4VDC or 28.8VDC (for 24V versions) use ‘Speaker 1’
▪Horn Input
➢Connecting the white wire to the vehicle horn switch enables the horn to change
to siren tone (Fig. 1)
➢If the vehicle horn is to be muted when the siren is active, break into the vehicle
horn circuit between the horn and the switch. Connect the orange wire to the
horn and the white wire to the switch (Fig.2)
➢When the siren is in use relay contacts in the amplifier will open to mute the horn

Siren PA Amplifier
M352.1.0 - 5 - November 2021
Operation:
Tones will not sound until the interlock input is connected to positive [+]. The volume control
must be advanced beyond the 9 o’clock position
▪Control Panel
▪Siren
With the rotary switch in the off position this gives ‘Wail’ tone whilst held, rising to
a maximum frequency. When released, decreases to minimum then stops. Lights
are normally programmed to come on for the duration of tone. With the rotary
switch in tone position, this toggles the tone as per ‘A-B’ switch
▪Air Horn
Gives simulated air horn sound while button is pressed. This is the only tone that
will sound without the interlock enabled. It will always be at full volume
regardless of any variable volume setting
▪Rotary Selector Switch
Selects tone as indicated. ‘AUX’ is normally ‘Pulsar’ but all tone positions can be
programmed. Relay outputs are fully programmable to user preference
▪Relay output #1 Relay output #2
▪Radio Re-broadcast
The violet wires are typically connected to the loudspeaker or line output from
the vehicle radio. A trimmer on the side of the amplifier allows for gain
adjustment to the normal volume setting of the radio. Turning clockwise increases
the volume
▪A-B Switch
‘A’ the current siren tone is toggled on successive presses of the vehicle horn
‘B’ siren will revert to the original tone after 5-20 seconds as programmed
