Amplifier Design
The Gilmore Lite mk2 is a miniaturized version of Kevin Gilmore’s
discrete dynamic headphone amplifier. It represents a modern purist’s
approach to circuit design. Since our founding HeadAmp has
hand-built thousands of amplifiers based on the work of Kevin Gilmore.
Warranty
The HeadAmp Gilmore Lite mk2 is warrantied for 3 years on all parts
and labor. The customer is responsible for shipping charges incurred in
warranty service. Please do not open the amplifier or power supply,
doing so may void your warranty. There are no user-serviceable parts
inside.

Setup
Connect the power supply cables to the outlet and amplifier and before
moving the Gilmore Lite’s power switch to the ON (up) position. Never
disconnect either end of the cable when power is on.
Front Panel
Headphone Outputs
Connect single-ended headphone 1/4” (6.5mm) plug.
Input Switch
Selects the active input signal from RCA 1 and RCA 2.
Rear Panel
Audio Inputs
2 Single-Ended RCA pairs.
Input impedance: 50K ohms.
Pre-Amp Outputs
1 Single-Ended RCA pair.
Turn on this output to send the selected input signal through the
amplifier circuit and out to a speaker amplifier. The pre-amp output is
suitable for use with tube or solid-state amplifiers, as well as active
monitors. When the pre-amp output is turned off, the amplifier feeds
only the headphone output. When the pre-amp output is turned on, the
amplifier feeds both the pre-amp and headphone output.
