VEILIGHEIDSVOORSCHRIFTEN
Voor gebruik dient u alle onderstaande instructies te lezen
om letsel en schade te voorkomen en om de beste
resultaten met het apparaat te bereiken. Bewaar deze
handleiding op een veilige plek. Mocht u dit apparaat aan
iemand anders overhandigen, dient u ook de
gebruiksaanwijzing te overhandigen.
In geval van schade die wordt veroorzaakt doordat de
gebruiker de instructies in deze gebruiksaanwijzing niet in
acht heeft genomen, komt de garantie te vervallen. De
fabrikant/importeur is niet aansprakelijk voor schade die
wordt veroorzaakt door het niet in acht nemen van de
gebruiksaanwijzing, door nalatig gebruik of gebruik dat niet
in overeenstemming is met de bepalingen van deze
gebruiksaanwijzing.
1. Dit apparaat mag worden gebruikt door kinderen vanaf 8
jaar en personen met beperkte fysische, visuele of
mentale vaardigheden, of die een gebrek aan ervaring en
kennis hebben, indien ze gepaste instructies hebben
gekregen zodat ze het apparaat op een veilige manier
kunnen gebruiken, op de hoogte zijn van de gevaren die
het gebruik van het apparaat met zich meebrengt en deze
gevaren begrijpen.
2. Laat kinderen niet met het apparaat spelen.
3. Laat het reinigen en het onderhoud van het apparaat niet
uitvoeren door kinderen tenzij ze ouder zijn dan 8 jaar en
onder toezicht staan.

4. Houd het apparaat en snoer buiten het bereik van
kinderen jonger dan 8 jaar.
5. Als het snoer is beschadigd, moet het worden vervangen
door de fabrikant, zijn klantenservice of gelijksoortig
geschoolde personen om gevaar te vermijden.
6. Met het oog op de instructies voor de reiniging van de
oppervlakken die in contact kunnen komen met voedsel
of olie, dient u de paragrafen " REINIGINGINSTRUCTIES "
en " TIPS VOOR ONDERHOUD EN GEBRUIK VAN DE
ANTIAANBAKLAAG " in acht te nemen.
7. Dit apparaat is niet bestemd voor gebruik door middel
van een externe timer of een afzonderlijk op afstand
bestuurd systeem.
8. Voordat u de stekker in het stopcontact steekt, dient u te
controleren of de stroom en de frequentie overeen
komen met de specificaties van het typeplaatje.
9. Trek de stekker uit het stopcontact als het apparaat niet in
gebruik is en voordat u het apparaat reinigt.
10. Let op dat de stroomkabel niet over scherpe randen hangt
en niet in de buurt komt van hete voorwerpen en open
vuur.
11. Dompel het apparaat of de stekker niet onder in water of
andere vloeistoffen. Er bestaat levensgevaar als gevolg
van een elektrische schok!
12. Om de stekker uit het stopcontact te halen, dient u aan de
stekker zelf te trekken. Trek niet aan de stroomkabel.
13. Raak het apparaat niet aan als het in water is gevallen.
Trek de stekker uit het stopcontact, schakel het apparaat
uit en breng het ter reparatie naar een geautoriseerd
servicecenter.
14. Steek de stekker niet in het stopcontact en haal hem er
niet uit als u natte handen heeft.
15. Probeer nooit de behuizing van het apparaat te openen
en probeer nooit zelf het apparaat te repareren. Dit kan
een elektrische schok veroorzaken.

16. Laat het apparaat nooit onbeheerd achter wanneer het in
gebruik is.
17. Dit apparaat werd niet ontworpen voor commercieel
gebruik.
18. Gebruik het apparaat niet voor andere doeleinden dan
het beoogde doel.
19. Draai de kabel niet om het apparaat en buig hem niet.
20. Plaats het apparaat op een stabiele, vlakke ondergrond
waar het niet vanaf kan vallen.
21. Sluit altijd eerst de stekker aan op de bakplaat alvorens de
stekker in het stopcontact te steken. Om uit te schakelen,
draait u eerst het apparaat uit en verwijder vervolgens de
stekker uit het stopcontact.
22. Wees zeer voorzichtig als u een apparaat met hete olie of
een andere hete vloeistof verplaatst.
23. Wees bijzonder voorzichtig bij het verwijderen van heet
vet.
24. De stekker dient te worden verwijderd voordat het
apparaat wordt gereinigd en de stroomaansluiting moet
droog zijn voordat het apparaat weer in gebruik wordt
genomen. U mag alleen een geschikte stekker gebruiken.
25. Waarschuwing: houtskool of andere ontvlambare
voorwerpen mogen niet worden gebruikt in combinatie
met dit apparaat.
26. Als u producten met een antiaanbaklaag gebruikt, dient u
ervoor te zorgen dat zich geen vogels in dezelfde ruimte
bevinden en dat de ruimte compleet kan worden gesloten
en goed geventileerd wordt.
27. WAARSCHUWING!!
Raak het oppervlak niet aan tijdens het
gebruik. De temperatuur van de
toegankelijke oppervlakken kan hoog
oplopen als het apparaat in werking is.

UW GRILL GEBRUIKEN
1. Lees vóór het eerste gebruik de " REINIGINGINSTRUCTIES " en " TIPS VOOR ONDERHOUD EN GEBRUIK
VAN DE ANTIAANBAKLAAG ".
2. Plaats de thermostaataansluiting in het apparaat. Zorg ervoor dat de
temperatuurregelaar omhoog wijst. Plaats het oliereservoir onder de olie-uitlaat
aan de hoek van de plaat. (zie foto)
3. Sluit de netstekker aan op een geschikt stopcontact.
4. Stel de gewenste temperatuur in d.m.v. de temperatuurregeling 1/2/3/4/5. Het
indicatielampje zal oplichten.
5. Het apparaat kan tijdens het eerste gebruik een luchtje afgeven. Dit is echter onschadelijk en heeft
eventjes voldoende ventilatie nodig.
6. Het indicatielampje schakelt uit zodra de ingestelde temperatuur is bereikt.
7. Wanneer de grill afkoelt, wordt de grill weer automatisch verwarmd. Het indicatielampje blijft branden
totdat de ingestelde temperatuur weer is bereikt.
8. Zet de temperatuurregeling altijd op “0” om de grill uit te schakelen.
9. Trek de stekker uit het stopcontact en trek de thermostaat uit het apparaat.
10. Draag de grill uitsluitend aan de hendels.
11. Laat de grill buiten bereik van kinderen afkoelen. Opgelet: Grilloppervlaktes zijn heet tijdens gebruik.
REINIGINGINSTRUCTIES
1. Haal de stekker uit het stopcontact en laat de grill volledig afkoelen voordat u het reinigt of verplaatst.
2. Verwijder het snoergedeelte (Niet onderdompelen in water), en veeg schoon met een vochtige doek.
Droog zorgvuldig.
Opgelet: Sonde en sonde-aansluiting moeten vóór gebruik altijd compleet droog zijn.
Opmerking: het oliereservoir is vaatwasserbestendig.
TIPS VOOR ONDERHOUD EN GEBRUIK VAN DE ANTIAANBAKLAAG
Voorwerpen niet op de grill plaatsen om krassen op de antiaanbaklaag te voorkomen.
Gebruik gemiddeld tot lage temperatuur voor de beste resultaten. Zeer hoge temperaturen kunnen
verkleuring veroorzaken en verkorten de levensduur van elke anti-aanbaklaag. Als er hogere
temperaturen nodig zijn, verwarm dan een paar minuten voor op gemiddeld.
Gebruik uitsluitend nylon, kunststof of houten keukengerei, om krassen op de antiaanbaklaag te
voorkomen. Etenswaar nooit op de grill snijden.
Verwijder hardnekkige vlekken met een kunststof schuursponsje en mild schoonmaakmiddel.
Gebruik geen staalwol.
Giet geen koud water op de kookplaat inden hij ingeschakeld is, aangezien het water zal spatten en de
plaat zal beschadigen.
Milieu
Volgens de richtlijn afval van elektrische en elektronische apparatuur, mag dit product niet bij het huisvuil
worden weggegooid, maar dient deze apart te worden ingeleverd. Indien u in de toekomst van dit product af

wilt, gooi het dan NIET weg bij het huishoudafval, maar lever het in bij een speciaal hiervoor bedoelde plaats,
bijvoorbeeld het kca-depot van uw gemeente.
Gooi lege batterijen niet weg, maar deponeer ze in speciale batterij bakken of lever ze in als kca bij het
gemeente depot.
Kwaliteit
HEMA hecht grote waarde aan veiligheid en kwaliteit. We beschikken over een eigen laboratorium. Dit
laboratorium beoordeelt vóór opname in het assortiment, alle apparaten op elektrische veiligheid en
gebruikseigenschappen. Daarnaast bewaakt HEMA samen met de fabrikant de productkwaliteit.
Beveiliging
Het is mogelijk dat dit HEMA artikel voorzien is van een kunststof beveiligingsstrip. U vindt de strip dan aan de
onderzijde van het apparaat. Deze strip heeft geen invloed op de kwaliteit of werkwijze van het artikel en kan
zonder problemen worden verwijderd.
Storingen en reparatie
Bij een defect toestel, het apparaat ter reparatie aanbieden bij een Hema-vestiging.
Voer zelf geen reparaties uit aan het toestel.
Ingeval reparatie nodig is, kunt u het apparaat goed verpakt, bij voorkeur in de originele verpakking, inleveren
bij een Hema-vestiging. Indien binnen de garantietermijn, de garantiebon meebrengen.
Garantiebepalingen
Wij garanderen de kwaliteit
Hema B.V. garandeert het op de garantiebewijsbon vermelde artikel volledig tegen gebreken als gevolg van
materiaal- en fabricagefouten. Voor alle elektrisch huishoudelijke apparaten is de garantietermijn 2 jaar na de
datum van aankoop.
De garantie op het artikel vervalt indien
a. het defect is ontstaan door ondeskundig of oneigenlijk gebruik, verwaarlozing, aansluiten op de verkeerde
netspanning of door vallen of stoten;
b. u, gedurende de garantieperiode, het artikel zelf of door een niet-HEMA reparateur heeft geprobeerd te
herstellen.
Als u aanspraak kunt en wilt maken op garantie
Dient het artikel, vergezeld van de garantiebewijsbon, te worden aangeboden in één van onze vestigingen. In
het algemeen zal, behoudens bijzondere omstandigheden, de reparatie binnen 14 werkdagen geheel gratis
worden uitgevoerd.
Extra zekerheid voor een goede keus
Als u met de aankoop van het artikel achteraf toch niet gelukkig bent (bijvoorbeeld omdat de uitvoering
tegenvalt of een dubbele aankoop heeft plaatsgevonden), kunt u binnen 30 dagen na aankoop, mits
onbeschadigd en in originele verpakking, het artikel terugbrengen. Neem dan wel altijd de kassabon mee. U
kunt het artikel dan ruilen of desgewenst uw geld terug krijgen.

En cas de détérioration due au non-respect par l’utilisateur
des instructions de cette notice d’utilisation, la garantie est
annulée. Le fabricant/importateur rejette toute
responsabilité en cas de dommages dus au non-respect des
instructions de la notice d’utilisation, à un usage négligent
ou à l’usage non conforme aux exigences de cette notice

1. Cet appareil peut être utilisé par des enfants âgés de 8
ans et plus et les personnes ayant des capacités physiques,
sensorielles ou mentales, ou un manque d'expérience et
de connaissances si elles ont été formées et encadrées
pour l'utilisation de cet appareil en toute sécurité et de
comprendre la risques impliqués.
2. Les enfants ne doivent pas jouer avec l'appareil.
3. Le nettoyage et l’entretien par l’usager ne doivent pas
être effectués par des enfants, sauf s’ils ont plus de 8 ans
et qu’ils sont surveillés.
4. Gardez l'appareil et son câble hors de la portée des
enfants de moins de 8 ans.
5. Si le câble d'alimentation est endommagé, il doit être

remplacé par le fabricant, son service après vente ou des
personnes de qualification similaire afin d'éviter un
danger.
6. Pour obtenir plus d'instructions sur comment nettoyer les
surfaces en contact avec des aliments ou de l'huile,
reportez-vous aux paragraphes « INSTRUCTIONS DE
NETTOYAGE » et « CONSEILS SUR L'ENTRETIEN ET LA
BONNE UTILISATION DES SURFACES ANTIADHESIVES ».
7. Les appareils ne sont pas destinés à être mis en
fonctionnement au moyen d'une minuterie extérieure ou
par un système de commande à distance séparé.
8. Avant d’insérer la fiche de l’appareil dans une prise
secteur, vérifiez que la tension et la fréquence du secteur
correspondent aux spécifications indiquées sur la plaque
signalétique.
9. Débranchez la fiche électrique de la prise électrique
quand l’appareil n’est pas utilisé et avant de le nettoyer.
10. Veillez à ce que le cordon d’alimentation ne pende pas sur
des arêtes coupantes et maintenez-le éloigné des objets
chauds et des flammes nues.
11. N'immergez jamais l'appareil ou sa fiche dans de l'eau ni
dans aucun autre liquide. Cela peut provoquer un choc
électrique !
12. Pour débrancher la fiche de la prise, saisissez la fiche et
tirez-la hors de la prise. Ne tirez pas sur le cordon
d’alimentation.
13. Ne touchez pas l’appareil s’il tombe dans de l’eau.
Débranchez la fiche de la prise électrique, éteignez
l’appareil et rapportez-le au centre de réparation agréé
pour le faire réparer.
14. Ne branchez pas et ne débranchez pas l’appareil de la
prise électrique avec les mains mouillées.
15. N’essayez pas d’ouvrir le boîtier de l’appareil ni de réparer
l’appareil vous-même. Cela peut provoquer un choc
électrique.

16. Ne laissez jamais l'appareil sans surveillance quand il est
en fonctionnement.
17. Cet appareil n’est pas conçu pour un usage commercial.
18. N’utilisez pas cet appareil à un usage autre que celui pour
lequel il a été conçu.
19. N’enroulez pas le cordon d’alimentation autour de
l’appareil et ne le pliez pas.
20. Placez l’appareil sur une surface horizontale et stable, de
laquelle il ne peut pas tomber.
21. Assemblez toujours la sonde à la grille avant de brancher
le cordon d’alimentation dans une prise murale. Pour
débrancher l’appareil, positionnez d’abord son
interrupteur marche/arrêt sur la position arrêt, puis
débranchez sa fiche de la prise murale.
22. Soyez extrêmement prudent quand vous déplacez un
appareil contenant de l’huile chaude ou un autre liquide
chaud.
23. Faites extrêmement attention quand vous jetez de la
graisse chaude.
24. Le connecteur doit être débranché avant de nettoyer
l’appareil et la fiche de l’appareil doit être sèche avant la
réutilisation de l’appareil. Seul le connecteur approprié
doit être utilisé.
25. Avertissement : N'utilisez pas de charbon de bois ni de
combustible similaire avec cet appareil.
26. Si vous utilisez des produits antiadhésifs, veillez à ce qu’il
n’y ait aucun oiseau dans la pièce et à ce que la pièce soit
complètement fermée et bien aéré.
27. AVERTISSEMENT !!
Ne touchez pas les surfaces de l’appareil
pendant l’utilisation. La température des
surfaces accessibles peut être élevée quand
l'appareil est en fonctionnement.

UTILISER VOTRE GRILL
1. Avant la première utilisation, lisez « INSTRUCTIONS DE NETTOYAGE » et « CONSEILS SUR L'ENTRETIEN ET
LA BONNE UTILISATION DES SURFACES ANTIADHESIVES ».
2. Attachez le connecteur du thermostat à l'unité. Assurez-vous d'orienter le contrôle de
la température vers le haut. Placez le godet à graisse sous la sortie d’huile au coin
de la plaque. (voir l’image)
3. Connectez la prise principale à une prise murale adaptée.
4. Réglez la température à l'aide du contrôle de température 1/2/3/4/5. Le voyant
s'allume.
5. L'appareil, lors de la première utilisation, pourrait émettre une légère odeur. Ceci est normal. Veillez à
ventiler correctement la pièce.
6. Une fois la température désirée atteinte, le voyant s'éteint.
7. Lorsque la température descend en dessous de la température désirée, le grill chauffe de nouveau
automatiquement. Le voyant s'illumine jusqu'à ce que la température soit atteinte.
8. Faites toujours tourner le contrôle de la température sur « 0 » pour éteindre le grill.
9. Débranchez le cordon de la prise et retirez le connecteur du thermostat de l'unité.
10. Portez le grill par les poignées.
11. Laissez le grill refroidir dans hors de portée des enfants. Attention: Les surfaces du grill sont chaudes en
cours d'utilisation.
INSTRUCTIONS DE NETTOYAGE
1. Débranchez-le et laissez-le refroidir avant nettoyage ou déplacement.
2. Déconnectez le cordon (ne pas le plonger dans l'eau), essuyez avec un chiffon humide et séchez avec soin.
Attention: La sonde et le réceptacle de la sonde doivent être complètement secs avant utilisation.
Remarque: Le godet à graisse peut être lavé au lave-vaisselle.
CONSEILS SUR L'ENTRETIEN ET LA BONNE UTILISATION DES SURFACES ANTIADHESIVES
Pour éviter de rayer la surface antiadhésive, ne pas y poser d'objets.
Cuisez à basse ou moyenne température pour obtenir le meilleur résultat. Les hautes températures
peuvent entraîner la décoloration et raccourcir la durée de vie des matériaux anti-adhésifs. Si vous devez
cuire à haute température, préchauffez à température moyenne pendant quelques minutes.
N'utiliser que des ustensiles de bois, nylon ou plastique avec attention pour ne pas rayer la surface. Ne
jamais couper les aliments sur le grill.
Retirer les tâches récalcitrantes à l'aide d'une spatule de plastique et de liquide vaisselle doux.
Ne pas utiliser d'ustensiles de métal.
Ne versez pas l’eau froide sur la plaque de cuisson quand elle est allumée, car cela provoquera des
projections d’eau et la détérioration de la plaque.
Environnement
D’après la directive relative aux déchets d’appareils électriques et électroniques, il ne faut pas jeter ce produit
avec les ordures ménagères, mais le déposer à part. Lorsque vous désirerez vous débarrasser de ce produit,

NE le placez PAS dans la poubelle, mais déposez-le à l'endroit prévu à cet effet, par exemple à la déchetterie
de votre commune.
Ne jeter pas les piles usagées, mais déposez-les dans les bacs collecteurs prévus à cet effet ou à la
déchetterie de votre commune.
Qualité
HEMA attache une grande importance à la sécurité et à la qualité. Nous disposons de notre propre laboratoire.
Ce laboratoire évalue la sécurité électrique et les propriétés d’utilisation de tous les appareils avant leur
insertion dans l’assortiment. En outre, HEMA contrôle la qualité du produit en collaboration avec le fabricant.
Sécurité
Il est possible que cet article HEMA soit pourvu d’une bande de protection en plastique. Cette bande se
trouve en dessous de l’appareil. Elle n’a aucune influence sur la qualité ou le fonctionnement de l'article et
peut être enlevée sans problème.
Réparation
Si une réparation est nécessaire, vous pouvez rapporter l’appareil, bien emballé, dans un magasin HEMA. S’il
est toujours sous garantie, il doit être accompagné du bon de garantie et du bon d’achat. Vous pouvez porter
votre appareil à réparer dans tous les magasins HEMA. Vérifiez régulièrement si le cordon n’est pas abîmé.
Lorsque le cordon est abîmé, faites réparer l’appareil dans un magasin Hema. Ne pas remplacer le cordon soi-
même. Pour des raisons de sécurité, il est conseillé de ne pas réparer soi-même des appareils électriques.
Conditions de garantie
Nous vous garantissons la qualité
Hema B.V. offre une garantie totale sur l'article mentionné sur le bon de garantie en cas de défauts
occasionnés par des vices de fabrication ou de matériel. Pour tous les appareils ménagers électriques, le délai
de garantie est de 2 ans après la date d'achat.
La garantie est annulée dans le cas suivants :
a. le défaut est causé par une utilisation incompétente ou abusive, par négligence, par un mauvais
branchement ou suite à une chute ou un choc ;
b. vous avez tenté, durant la période de garantie, de réparer vous-même l'article ou de le faire réparer par un
réparateur autre que HEMA .
Si vous voulez et pouvez faire usage de la garantie
L'article, accompagné du ticket de caisse, doit être apporté en réparation dans l'un de nos magasins. En règle
générale la réparation est effectuée dans un délai de 15 jours - sauf en cas de circonstances exceptionnelles -
et entièrement gratuitement.
Une sécurité supplémentaire pour être sûr de votre choix
Si toutefois vous n'étiez pas satisfait de l'article (par exemple, si le modèle ne vous plaît pas ou que vous avez
fait un achat double), vous pouvez ramener l'article intact et dans son emballage d'origine dans les 30 jours
qui suivent son achat. N'oubliez pas le ticket de caisse. Vous pouvez échanger l'article ou, si vous le souhaitez,
être remboursé.

instructions in this manual the warranty will be void. The
manufacturer/importer accepts no liability for damages

9. Disconnect the mains plug from the socket when the
appliance is not in use and before cleaning.
10. Ensure that the mains cable is not hung over sharp edges
and keep it away from hot objects and open flames.
11. Do not immerse the appliance or the mains plug in water
or other liquids. There is danger to life due to electric
shock!
12. To remove the plug from the plug socket, pull the plug. Do
not pull the power cord.
13. Do not touch the appliance if it falls into water. Remove
the plug from its socket, turn off the appliance and send it
to an authorized service center for repair.
14. Do not plug or unplug the appliance from the electrical
outlet with a wet hand.
15. Never attempt to open the housing of the appliance, or to
repair the appliance yourself. This could cause electric
shock.
16. Never leave the appliance unattended during use.
17. This appliance is not designed for commercial use.
18. Do not use the appliance for other than intended use.
19. Do not wind the cord around the appliance and do not
bend it.
20. Place the appliance on a stable, level surface from which
it cannot fall off.
21. Always attach the probe to griddle before plugging cord
into wall outlet. To disconnect, please turn off the
appliance first, then remove plug from wall outlet.
22. Extreme caution must be used when moving an appliance
containing hot oil or other hot liquids.

23. Use extreme caution when disposing hot grease.
24. The connector must be removed before the appliance is
cleaned and the appliance inlet must be dried before the
appliance is used again. Only the appropriate connector
must be used.
25. Warning: charcoal or similar combustible fuels must not
be used with this appliance.
26. If you use products with non-stick surfaces, please make
sure no birds are in the same room and that the room can
be completely closed off and well-ventilated.

Please do not touch surface while in use. The
temperature of accessible surfaces may be
high when the appliance is operating.

USING YOUR GRILL
1. Before first use, see “CLEANING INSTRUCTIONS” and “HINTS FOR CARE AND USE OF NON-STICK
SURFACE”.
2. Attach the thermostat connector into the unit. Make sure the temperature control
faces upwards. Place the oil container under the oil outlet at the corner of the
plate. (See the picture.)
3. Connect the mains plug to a suitable socket.
4. Set the desired temperature by means of the temperature control 1/2/3/4/5. The
indicator lamp lights up.
5. The unit, on its first use, might emit light smell. It is however of no consequence. Briefly ensure sufficient
ventilation.
6. As soon as this temperature has been attained, the check light goes off.
7. When the grill has cooled down, the grill is heated up again automatically. The indicator light glows till the
set temperature is attained again.
8. Always turn the temperature control to “0”, to switch off the grill.
9. Pull out the mains plug from the socket and pull out the thermostat connector from the unit.
10. Carry the grill only by the handles.
11. Let the grill cool down outside the reach of the children. Caution: Grill surfaces are hot during use.
CLEANING INSTRUCTIONS
1. Unplug and allow it to cool completely before cleaning or moving.
2. Remove cord set (Do not immerse it in water), wipe with a damp cloth and dry thoroughly.
Caution: Probe and probe receptacle must always be completely dry before use.
Note: The oil container is dishwasher safe.
HINTS FOR CARE AND USE OF NON-STICK SURFACE
To avoid scratching the non-stick surface, do not stack objects on grill.
Use medium to low heat for best cooking results. Very high temperatures can cause discoloration and
shorten the life span of any non-stick surface. If higher temperatures are necessary, preheat on medium
for a few minutes.
Use only nylon, plastic or wooden utensils with care to avoid scratching the non-stick surface. Never cut
food on the grill.
Remove stubborn stains with a plastic scouring pad and mild dish washing liquid.
Do not use steel wool.
Do not pour cold water onto the cooking plate when it is turned on, as the water will spatter and also
damage the plate.
Environment
In compliance with the directives on Waste Electrical and Electronic Equipment, this product must not be
discarded with domestic waste but should be disposed of separately for recycling. If you wish to dispose of
this product in the future, do NOT throw it away with the household rubbish but hand it in at a specially
designated place, such as your municipal domestic chemical waste depot.

Never throw empty batteries away, but deposit them in special battery boxes or hand them in as domestic
chemical waste at your municipal depot.
Quality
Safety and quality is very important to HEMA. We have our own laboratory, which assesses all equipment in
terms of electrical safety and ease of use, before it is included in our range. HEMA also monitors the product
quality in collaboration with the manufacturer.
Security
This HEMA item may be fitted with a plastic anti-theft strip. You will find the strip on the bottom of the
product. This strip does not influence the quality or the operation of the product and can be removed without
a problem.
Faults and repairs
If this device needs to be repaired, you can hand it in at a HEMA branch after packing the product securely. Do
not try to repair this product yourself. For repairs that fall within the warranty period, you will need to show a
proof of purchase and the warranty document. Regularly check the power cord for damage. If there is any
damage to the cord set, please return the item to a HEMA branch for repair. Do not try to replace it yourself.
For safety reasons we recommend that you do not carry out any repairs to an electrical device yourself.
Warranty conditions
HEMA B.V. fully guarantees the product named on the warranty receipt, against all defects caused by material
and manufacturing errors.
For all domestic electrical appliances, the warranty period is 2 years from the date of purchase.
The warranty on this item is invalidated if:
a. the defect occurs through incorrect or improper use, neglect, connection to the wrong power voltage, or if
dropped or knocked;
b. you have attempted to repair the item yourself, or have had it repaired by a repair service other than
HEMA during the warranty period.
If you wish to make a claim under the warranty terms:
You will need to hand in the item at one of our branches together with the warranty receipt. Under normal
circumstances the item will be repaired free of charge within 14 workdays.
Extra certainty for the right choice
If, after purchasing the item, you are dissatisfied (because it is not exactly what you expected or you already
have this item), you can return the item within 30 days of purchase, on condition that it is undamaged and in
the original packaging.
Remember that you must always bring your sales receipt.
You can either exchange the item or request a refund.
