BEFORE USING YOUR KETTLE
USING YOUR KETTLE
If you are using the kettle for the first time, it is recommended that you should clean your kettle before
use by boiling the Max capacity of water once and then discarding the water twice. Wipe the surface
with a damp cloth.
• Place the kettle on the flat surface.
• To fill the kettle, remove it from the power base and open the lid by pressing down lid release button,
then fill the kettle with the desired amount of water and close the lid. The water level must be within
the Min and the Max level. Too little water will cause the kettle switching off before the water has
boiled.
• Insert care, maintenance and/or storage instructions text here.
• Position the kettle on the power base.
• Connect the plug into a power outlet. Press down the switch and the indicator will light up, and then
the kettle starts to boil the water. The kettle will switch off automatically once the water has boiled.
If necessary, it will take you 30 seconds to wait before pressing the switch again to re-boil the water.
You may shut off the power by lifting switch up or directly lift the kettle from the power base at any
moment to stop boiling process.
• Lift the kettle from the power base and then pour the water.
Should you accidentally let the kettle operate without water, the function of boil-dry protection will
automatically switch off the power. If this occurs, allow the kettle to cool prior to filling with cold water
before re-boiling.
• The kettle will not re-boil until the switch is pressed again. The kettle may be stored on the power
base when not in use.
NOTE: Do not fill the water over the maximum level, as water may spill out of the spout when boiling.
Ensure that the lid is firmly in place before plugging the power outlet.
NOTE: Ensure that switch is free of obstructions and the lid is firmly closed, the kettle will not turn off
if the switch if be constrained or if the lid is opening.
NOTE: Operate carefully when pouring the water from your kettle as boiling water may result in scald,
besides, don’t open the lid while the water in the kettle is hot.
NOTE: Always disconnect the power supply when not use.
Boil-dry protection
This appliance has a polarized plug. To reduce the risk of electric shock, this plug is intended to fit
into a polarized outlet only one way, If the plug does not fit fully into the outlet, reverse the plug. If it
still does not fit, contact a qualified electrician. Do not attempt to modify the plug in any way.

A short power-supply cord (or detached power-supply cord) is to be provided to reduce risks resulting
from becoming entangled in or tripping over a long cord.Longer detachable power-supply cords or
extension cords are available and may be used if care is exercised in their use.
If a long detachable power-supply cords or extension cord is used:
You can store your kettle on the base when you are not using it.
Note: Make sure that the power cord is unplugged when your kettle is not in use. When you unplug
the power cord, it retracts into the power base.
Notes on the cord:
• The marked electrical rating of the detachable power-supply cord or extension cord should be at
least as great as the electrical rating of the appliance.
• If the appliance is of the grounded type, the extension cord should be a grounding-type 3-wire cord.
• The longer cord should be arranged so that it will not drape over the countertop or table top where it
can be pulled on by children or tripped over.

CARE AND MAINTENANCE
Always disconnect the appliance from the power outlet and cool it down completely before cleaning.
• Never immerse the kettle, power cord or power base in water, or allow moisture to contact with
these parts.
• Wipe the appearance of body with a damp cloth or cleaner, never use a poisonous cleaner.
• Remember to clean the filter at intervals. For easier cleaning, detach the filter by pressing down the
tab of filter inside the kettle and then replace it after cleaning.
• When not in use or in storage, the power cord may be wound under the bottom of kettle.
• Your kettle should be periodically descaled as the mineral deposits in tap water may form scale on
the bottom of kettle so as to cause the operation less efficiency. You can use the commercially
available descaler and follow the instructions on the package of descaler. Alternatively, you may
follow below instructions using white vinegar.
(1) Fill the kettle with 3 cups of white vinegar, then adding water to the amount so as to cover the
bottom of kettle completely. Leave the solution in the kettle overnight.
(2) Then discard the mixture in the kettle, then filling the kettle with clean water to the maximum
position, boiling and then discard the water. Repeat several times until the odor of vinegar has
been flushed away. Any stains remaining inside the spout can be removed by rubbing with a
damp cloth.
CAUTION: Do not use chemical, steel, wooden or abrasive cleaners to clean the outside of the kettle
to prevent the gloss loss.

ANTES DE USAR LA PAVA
CÓMO USAR LA PAVA
Si usa la pava por primera vez, se recomienda que la limpie antes de usarla. Para ello, hierva la
capacidad máxima de agua una vez y deseche el agua dos veces. Limpie la superficie con un paño
humedecido.
• Coloque la pava sobre una superficie plana.
• Para llenar la pava, retírelo de la base de potencia y abra la tapa presionando el botón de liberación
de la tapa. Luego, llene la pava con la cantidad de agua deseada y cierre la tapa. El nivel del agua
debe estar dentro de los niveles mínimo y máximo. Una cantidad muy pequeña de agua hará que la
pava se apague antes de hervir.
• Inserte aquí el texto de las instrucciones de cuidado, mantenimiento o almacenamiento.
• Coloque la pava en la base de potencia.
• Conecte el enchufe a un tomacorriente. Presione el interruptor y el indicador se encenderá. La pava
comenzará a hervir el agua. La pava se apagará automáticamente una vez que el agua haya hervido.
Si es necesario, deberá esperar 30 segundos para volver a presionar el interruptor y volver a hervir
el agua. Puede apagar la alimentación en cualquier momento para detener el proceso de ebullición.
Para ello, levante el interruptor o levante la pava directamente de la base de potencia.
• Levante la pava de la base de potencia y luego vierta el agua.
Si deja que la pava funcione sin agua por accidente, la función de protección contra ebullición en
seco cortará la energía automáticamente. Si esto sucede, deje que la pava se enfríe antes de llenarla
con agua fría para volverla a hervir.
• La pava no volverá a hervir hasta que se vuelva a presionar el interruptor. La pava se puede
almacenar en la base de potencia cuando no esté en uso.
NOTA: no llene con agua por encima del nivel máximo, ya que el agua se puede derramar por el tubo
surtidor al hervir. Asegúrese de que la tapa esté firmemente en su lugar antes de enchufar el
electrodoméstico al tomacorriente.
NOTA: asegúrese de que el interruptor no tenga obstrucciones y que la tapa esté firmemente cerrada.
La pava no se apagará si el interruptor está restringido o si la tapa se abre.

SOLUCIÓN DE PROBLEMAS
Se proporciona un cable de suministro de electricidad corto (o cable de suministro de electricidad
desmontable) para reducir el riesgo de enredarse o tropezar con un cable largo. Hay cables de
suministro de electricidad desmontables o extensiones eléctricas más largos disponibles y se pueden

CUIDADO Y MANTENIMIENTO

humedad entre en contacto con estas piezas.
• Limpie la apariencia del cuerpo con un paño húmedo o limpiador, nunca use un limpiador nocivo.
• Recuerde limpiar el filtro a intervalos. Para una limpieza más fácil, retire el filtro. Para ello, presione
la lengüeta del filtro dentro de la pava y luego reemplácela después de la limpieza.
• Cuando no use el electrodoméstico o cuando lo guarde, el cable de alimentación se puede enrollar
debajo de la parte inferior de la pava.
• Debe descalcificar la pava con regularidad, ya que los depósitos minerales en el agua del grifo
pueden formar sarro en la parte inferior de la pava, lo que reduce la eficiencia del funcionamiento.
Puede usar el descalcificador disponible en el mercado y seguir las instrucciones del paquete del
descalcificador. O puede seguir las instrucciones a continuación usando vinagre blanco.
(1) Llene la pava con 3 tazas de vinagre blanco. Luego, agregue agua hasta cubrir el fondo de la pava
