3.1 Grounded tools must be plugged into an outlet
properly installed and grounded in accordance with
all codes and ordinances. Never remove the ground-
ing prong or modi y the plug in any way. Do not use
any adaptor plugs. Check with a quali ied electrician
i you are in doubt as to whether the outlet is proper-
ly grounded. If th tools should l ctrically malfunc-

tanc path to carry l ctricity away from th us r.
3.2 Avoid body contact with grounded sur aces such
as pipes, radiators, ranges and re rigerators. Th r

3.4 Do not abuse the cord. Never use the cord to
carry the tools or pull the plug rom an outlet. Keep
cord away rom heat, oil, sharp edges or moving

common sense when operating a power tool. Do
not use a tool while tired or under the in luence o

4.2 Dress properly. Do not wear loose clothing or
jewelry. Contain long hair. Keep your hair, clothing,

be ore plugging in. Carrying tools with your fing r

4.5 Do not overreach. Keep proper ooting and bal-

4.6 Use sa ety equipment. Always wear eye protec-
tion. Dust mask, non-skid saf ty sho s, hard hat or

ditions.
5. Tool Use and Care
5.1 Use clamps or other practical way to secure and
support the workpiece to a stable plat orm. Holding
th work by hand or against your body is unstabl
and may l ad to loss of control.
5.2 Do not orce tool. Use the correct tool or your

5.3 Do not use tool i the switch does not turn it on

5.4 Disconnect the plug rom the power source be -

5.6 Maintain tools with care. Keep cutting tools

5.7 Check or misalignment or binding o moving
parts, breakage o parts and any other condition
that may a ect the tools operation. I damaged,

6.2 When servicing a tool, use only identical

6.3 If a GFCI is supplied with the power tool, never
operate the power tool without the GFCI.
