The LCD monitor contains high voltage inside. Do not open the housing by yourself.
Only the repair personnel are allowed to repair the LCD monitor and replace its
components. Failure to comply will result in electric shock and fire.
Clean the equipment by using a piece of clean, soft cotton cloth. Do not wipe repeatedly
with a strong force.
Do not scratch, knock, or impact the screen with hard objects, or rub it with abrasive
agents.
Protect the LCD monitor from water drops and splashes during storage and use. In case
of thunderstorms and other bad weather, disconnect the power plug immediately to
prevent the LCD monitor from being damaged by lightning.
The LCD monitor is of Class I lightning protection. Plug it into a mains output socket with protective
ground connection and ensure that the LCD monitor is reliably connected to ground.

Features
Overview
Thank you for purchasing Hisense LCD monitor, which features a 65-inch size and LED backlight and is
intended for professionally trained medical staff. It supports simultaneous viewing and interpretation of
medical images by multiple persons at precision work, such as remote consultation, in-hospital consultation,
multidisciplinary consultation, ward shift handover, and conference teaching and training.
3840x2160 UHD resolution
The LCD monitor features a 3840x2160 UHD resolution, allowing it to properly display medical images of
all degrees of resolution. When displaying multiple images at the same time, the LCD monitor shows
increased details of each image while reducing the pull-and-stretch effect.
Display calibration: fast brightness stabilization upon power-on and stable screen brightness
Upon power-on, the LCD monitor uses fast brightness stabilization technology to stabilize screen brightness
within a short time. It also uses a sensor to measure backlight brightness and compensates brightness changes
due to long-term use of the LCD monitor to maintain stable screen brightness.
A diverse choice of medical image modes
You can select an image mode on the screen or press a button of the remote control to call a mode that is
suitable for viewing specific medical images. Supported modes include DICOM, Text, Video, and Hybrid
GAMMA. You can customize parameters to suit your use habits.
Compliance with DICOM Part 14
Each LCD monitor is tested and debugged independently in the production process to ensure compliance with
Digital Imaging and Communications in Medicine (DICOM) Part 14.
The LCD monitor provides a wide choice of brightness levels, contrast ratios, color grades, sharpness
levels, and color temperatures, which can be adjusted to suit your perception.
Touch function
The LCD monitor is equipped with a user-friendly touch screen.
Self-adaptation to ambient light
The LCD monitor provides a front-facing ambient light sensor to continuously monitor brightness under
ambient conditions. Screen brightness is promptly adjusted based on monitoring results, ensuring that the
LCD monitor complies with the DICOM standard in all environments.
Wide viewing angle
The LCD monitor features a wide viewing angle above 178° to prevent color cast for viewers situated in
every position of a large conference venue.
Energy-saving LED backlight
The LCD monitor uses energy-saving LED backlight instead of traditional CCFL backlight, providing a
deeper color gamut and richer colors. This extends the backlight service life and meets the requirements of
brightness, power consumption, and environmental protection.
Inputs of multiple signal ports
The LCD monitor provides multiple signal ports typically supported by a professional display, such as DP,
DVI, HDMI, VGA, and USB ports, for connecting to traditional and sophisticated medical equipment. The
LCD monitor also provides an Open Pluggable Specification (OPS) port for connecting to an OPS-enabled
computer module.
Flexible assembly and compliance with the VESA standard
The fixed holes of the LCD monitor comply with the Video Electronics Standards Association (VESA)
standard, allowing the LCD monitor to be mounted on the wall, bench top, or a mobile bracket as needed.

Read the following information thoroughly before using the LCD monitor:
Safety Precautions
In the case of a thunderstorm, disconnect the power plug to prevent damage to the LCD monitor.
If the LCD monitor will not be used for a long time, be sure to grab the power plug and disconnect
it from the socket.
Ensure that no sundries exist in the surrounding area of mains disconnection devices, such as the
switch, power plug, and appliance coupler, and that these devices are easy to operate.
If abnormal sound or smell is generated or if no image is displayed while sound can be heard,
immediately disconnect the power supply and disconnect the power plug from the socket, and
contact the customer services of Hisense.
Ensure that the power cable and signal cable are not pressed down by any objects.
Ensure that the socket in use is qualified and certified by a national safety standard, and prevent
socket overload.
Keep the LCD monitor away from any high-temperature and heat-generating object.
Do not place any container that contains liquid (such as cosmetics and liquid medicine) on top of
the LCD monitor.
If any foreign matter or water gets into the LCD monitor, disconnect the power plug and contact
the customer services of Hisense.
Prevent children from standing or crawling on the LCD monitor.
After the LCD monitor is transferred from the storage to the use environment, keep it still for 24
hours before power-on to let water vapor inside the LCD monitor dissipate and dry. In the case
that the LCD monitor has not been used for a long time or experienced significant changes in
ambient temperature, fogging, which is a normal phenomenon, occurs inside the LCD monitor.
The fog automatically dissipates within 24 hours after power-on.
To prevent injury, mount the LCD monitor on a mobile cart based on instructions and place the
cart on horizontal bench top. If no mobile cart is available, mount and fix the LCD monitor on
the wall.
Do not expose the LCD monitor to over-temperature environments, such as sunlight and fire.
Failure to comply may result in explosion.

Do not wipe the LCD monitor with any volatile oil or diluent because these solvents may cause
deterioration of the housing or damage the paint coating. The LCD monitor may develop
smudges after long-term contact with rubber or ethylene products.
If the housing is dirty, wipe it with a piece of soft cloth soaked with a water-diluted neutral
detergent.
Description and Maintenance of the Screen
The LCD monitor is a modern high-tech product, with millions of thin film transistors inside to
display content with high quality and sharpness. Bright or dark spots may occasionally appear on the
panel, which is a normal phenomenon and does not affect the performance of the equipment.
Incorrect maintenance causes damage to the screen and affects the image display effect. Note the
following precautions:
Keep the screen away from organic solvents such as alcohol and gasoline or chemical reagents
such as acid and alkali.
Do not wipe the screen with any type of detergent.
When necessary, clean the screen by using a piece of clean, soft cotton cloth after the LCD
monitor is powered off. Do not wipe repeatedly with a strong force.
Do not apply pressure to the LCD monitor, which is exquisite and fragile.
Keep the LCD monitor away from hard objects because it is easily scratched.

Do not try to disassemble any component of the LCD monitor by yourself, which may damage
the LCD monitor and injure yourself and invalidate the warranty you are entitled to.
Do not remove the rear cover. Only the professional personnel are allowed to adjust and inspect
the internal components of the LCD monitor.
Do not cover or obstruct the cooling holes at the back of the LCD monitor. Failure to comply
will affect heat dissipation.
Keep the signal connectors and cooling holes away from sharp objects and metals. Failure to
comply will result in short circuit, causing LCD monitor damage or electric shock.

Other Precautions
It is recommended that the LCD monitor be moved by more than two persons for assembly,
disassembly, and handling. Avoid impact and take special protective measures for the screen

off process. This is harmless to the body.

3. When the OPS module is installed, in the OPS computer channel, the external USB device
communicates with the OPS computer. In other channels and on the home screen, the external
USB device communicates with the LCD monitor. When files are copied between the external
disk/USB flash drive and the OPS computer/LCD monitor, do not switch the signal source.
Failure to comply will interrupt the communication between the external device and the OPS
computer/LCD monitor.
4. The LCD monitor supports an OPS power of 65 W at most. Do not use an OPS module with a
power above 65 W.

Shortcut Functions of the Remote Control
Battery Replacement Procedure
1. Put the remote control with its back facing up and open the battery box.
2. Install two 1.5 V AAA alkaline batteries. Ensure that the positive (+) and negative (–) electrodes
of the batteries match those of the battery box.
3. Push the battery box cover upwards until it fits into the body of the remote control.
Precautions on Remote Control Operations
1. If the remote control works abnormally or unstably or cannot control the LCD monitor, check
whether the LCD monitor is started, whether the positive and negative electrodes of the batteries
are reversely installed, whether the battery energy is depleted, and whether special fluorescent or
neon gas signals exist in the surrounding area.
2. Take out the batteries if the remote control will not be used for a long time or the battery energy
is depleted. Handle scrapped batteries properly to avoid environmental pollution.
3. CAUTION: Use of an incorrect battery model may result in explosion. Be sure to handle used
batteries based on instructions.
Valid Range of Remote Control Operations
1. Distance: The valid range is within 8 meters right ahead of the front of the remote control
receive window.
2. Angle: With the remote control receive window as the culmination and in a distance of 6 meters
from the window, the control angle is not inferior to ±30° in the horizontal direction and not
inferior to ±15° in the vertical direction.
3. The remote control may experience reduced sensitivity after being used for a long time due to
infrared interference. It is recommended that you bring up the touch menu by using the five-
point touch mode.
Shortcut Functions of the Remote Control
1. Settings button: Press this button to go to the Settings screen, which provides the Image,
General, Internet, Sound, and About menus. You can set the LCD monitor on the Settings
screen.
2. Menu button
Press this button in the DMP channel to go to the menu. This button is disabled in other channels.
3. Mute button
Press this button to mute the LCD monitor. Press it again to unmute it.

Instructions
OPS is a port specification developed by Intel and applicable to products with an embedded
computer module. The LCD monitor provides an OPS port, which can be connected to OPS-enabled
equipment, also called an OPS module computer, or OPS computer for short. You can contact
Hisense to purchase an OPS computer as needed. The OPS port of the LCD monitor can be supplied
with power 19±0.5 V and 4 A at most.
The following figure shows the structure and dimensions of the OPS computer.
Note:
After the OPS computer is installed, it is used as the touch host of the equipment's touch screen by
default. When the lateral USB Touch port is connected to an external computer, the external
computer is used as the touch host. In this case, switch the signal source to the display channel of the
external computer to enable the touch function. If you want to use the OPS computer as the touch
host, disconnect the USB cable of the external computer and switch the signal source to the OPS
channel.
Before installing and disassembling the OPS computer, be sure to disconnect the LCD monitor
power plug from the socket. Failure to comply may result in irrecoverable damage to the LCD
monitor and the OPS computer.

OPS Switch
After the OPS computer is configured and installed, it is automatically started if the LCD monitor is
powered on in the OPS computer channel or the signal source is switched from another channel to
the OPS channel by setting Input Source in the Settings menu. If the OPS computer is not started,
go to the soft menu and click OPS ON. Wait for a while and the OPS computer will be started. To
manually shut down the OPS computer, click OPS OFF.
Note:
The hard disk of the OPS computer is damaged if the LCD monitor is directly disconnected from
the power supply. It is recommended that you power off the LCD monitor by using one of the
following methods:
1. Configure the OPS computer as follows: Go to Control Panel, click Power Options, select
the power button function, and set the action of pressing the power button to trigger
shutdown. Then, save the settings. In the Control Panel window, click Power Options and
then Change plan settings, and set Turn off the displayand Put the computer to sleep to
Never
. Then, save the settings. After the OPS computer is configured, to shut down the
LCD monitor, set the LCD monitor to the standby state by using the remote control. In this
way, the OPS computer is shut down properly
, and then you can disconnect the power
supply. Upon next power-on, the LCD monitor directly enters the power-on state.
2. Click the Start menu of the OPS computer to manually shut down the computer.
Before you set the LCD monitor to the standby state by
pressing the power button of the
remote control, to ensure that the OPS computer is properly shut down, be sure to save the
opened files in the Windows operating system, close all running user applications, and
return to the desktop. If the OPS computer ca
nnot be shut down under special
circumstances, you can use the mouse to select the shutdown option in the Windows
operating system. The OPS computer and LCD monitor will be shut down in sequence.
Upon next power-on, the LCD monitor directly enters the power-on state.

The repair page of the Windows operating system appears and the touch screen fails if the LCD
monitor is directly disconnected from the power supply, causing improper shutdown of the OPS
computer. Complete the repair by using the USB or wireles
s keyboard. You can access the
operating system after the repair is completed.
Instructions on Using the External Ports of the Touch Screen and Selecting a Touch Host
The LCD monitor provides a lateral USB Touch port. If you want to use an external PC as the touch
host providing a signal source, connect the lateral USB Touch port of the LCD monitor to the USB
port of the external PC by using the provided USB connection cable. Use the DVI or DP video signal
cable or the VGA cable to connect to the graphics card output port of the external PC, and switch the
signal source to the connected channel. Then, the touch screen is connected to the PC host, and you
can operate the PC host by using the touch screen.
In the DVI, DP, HDMI, and VGA channels, the external PC is used as the default touch host. After
you switch to the OPS channel, the internal OPS computer is used as the touch host. To perform
touch operations on the menu of the LCD monitor, use the five-point touch mode to bring up the soft
menu, or press the front-facing Home button to go to the touch menu. To switch to touch operations
on the OPS computer or external PC, tap the blank area outside the menu of the LCD monitor, and
then the menu disappears. The external PC does not support touch operations when it is not
connected to the lateral USB Touch port or its connected signal source is not selected.

Basic Operations
Power-on/off
1. Connect the LCD monitor power cable to a 220 V AC socket.
2. Press the power switch on the LCD monitor.
After the LCD monitor is powered on, to set it to the standby state, press the power button of the
remote control. To exit the standby state, press the power button again.
3. To shut down the LCD monitor, press the power switch on the LCD monitor again.
Note:
If the LCD monitor will not be used in the short term, you can set it to the standby state to
reduce power consumption. However, do not maintain the LCD monitor in the standby state for
a long time.
Do not power on and then off the LCD monitor within a short time because it takes time to
disconnect the power supply and complete system processing. Failure to comply may cause the
LCD monitor to work abnormally.
Press the Home button to start the LCD monitor from the standby state.
Instructions on Using the Soft Menu
Functions of the Soft Menu
Procedure of bringing up the soft menu:
In the Android system or the computer function module system, use the five-point touch mode
(put your five fingers on the touch screen and then lift them) to bring up the touch menu. You
can also press the Home button on the front panel to go to the touch menu.
Menu instructions:
Settings: Tap to go to the Settings menu of the LCD monitor and perform operations as
prompted.
Home: Tap to return to the home screen of the Android system.
Input Source: Tap to go to the signal source switchover menu of the LCD monitor and perform
operations as prompted.
Power OFF: Tap to set the LCD monitor to the standby state.

Basic Operations
Volume Up and Volume Down: Tap to increase or reduce the volume of the LCD monitor. A
volume bar appears to indicate the volume.
Back: Tap to return to the previous screen when an application is running. If the application is
not tested by Hisense, the system may not respond to tapping this button.
OPS: Tap to start the computer function module.
OPS OFF: Tap to close the computer function module. Wait for 20 seconds before restarting
the computer.
The LCD monitor supports screen projection between it and handheld mobile equipment
(Android and iOS). You can project the content displayed on the screen of handheld mobile
equipment to the LCD monitor, and vice versa.
You can also transfer files from handheld mobile equipment (Android and iOS) to the LCD
monitor.
Procedure of Exiting the Soft Menu
Tap the blank area outside the soft menu to close it.

Wireless Screen Transmission
Description
You can wirelessly transmit the PC desktop (Windows and macOS) to the LCD monitor. This
function must be used with wireless screen transmission, which is delivered with the equipment.
The LCD monitor supports screen projection between it and handheld mobile equipment
(Android and iOS). You can project the content displayed on the screen of handheld mobile
equipment to the LCD monitor, and vice versa.
You can also transfer files from handheld mobile equipment (Android and iOS) to the LCD
monitor.
Procedure
Before using wireless screen transmission, set up a network connection for the LCD monitor. Then,
wireless screen transmission is automatically activated.
Instructions on Using the Menu
The menu provides a variety of settings to meet your needs.

touch mode (put your five fingers in any area of the touch screen and then lift them) to bring up
the touch menu. Tap Settings to go to the LCD monitor menu.
2. Press ▲, ▼, ◄, and ► to select a menu item, and press OK to go to the next menu.
3. In each menu, you can perform the following operations:
Press ▲/▼ or ◄/► to select items.
Press OK to confirm the operation or go to the next menu.
Press ▲/▼ to select different options.
Press ◄/► to select different values.
4. Press the Back button to exit the menu.

Image Mode: Select an operating image mode for the LCD monitor based on a specific scenario.
The LCD monitor supports the following image modes: DICOM, Text, Video, Hybrid GAMMA, and
Custom.
Backlight: Adjust the screen brightness of the LCD monitor. The value range is 0 to 100.
Sharpness: Adjust screen sharpness. The value range is 0 to 20.
GAMMA: Select a curve for display. The options include DICOM, GAMMA1.8, GAMMA2.0,
GAMMA2.2, GAMMA2.4, and GAMMA2.6.
Color Temp.: Adjust the cold and warm perceptions of the screen. The options include DICOM,
6500, 7500, and 9300.
Brightness: Adjust image brightness. The value range is 0 to 100.
Contrast: Adjust screen layering. The value range is 0 to 100.
Color Grade: Adjust screen vividness. The value range is 0 to 100.
ZOOM: Select a proper zoom mode based on different signal sources. The LCD monitor supports
setting of different display modes, including Dot to Dot, Full Screen, and Scale Screen.
