display effect. Read the User Guide thoroughly before using the LCD monitor and keep it properly for
future reference. Hisense bears no responsibility for accidents caused by violating the safety
precautions and instructions in this manual.

Only the repair personnel are allowed to repair the LCD monitor and replace its
components. Failure to comply will result in electric shock and fire.
Clean the equipment by using a piece of clean, soft cotton cloth. Do not wipe
repeatedly with a strong force.
Do not scratch, knock, or impact the screen with hard objects, or rub it with abrasive
agents.
Protect the LCD monitor from water drops and splashes during storage and use.

Safety Information and Precautions
Read the following information thoroughly before using the LCD monitor:
Remarks
The LCD monitor is intended for use in the target sales regions. If it is used outside these regions,
its performance may be different from the specifications.
It is recommended that you use the specified accessories of the LCD monitor, which can be used
only with the spare parts and accessories that are manufactured or specified by Hisense.
It takes about 30 minutes for the electronic components of the LCD monitor to achieve stable
performance. It is recommended that you start the LCD monitor in advance to ensure display
accuracy.
Condensation may form inside and outside the LCD monitor if the LCD monitor is of low
temperature and moved into a room or the room where it is located experiences fast temperature
rise. Wait until the condensation disappears before starting the LCD monitor. Failure to comply
will damage the LCD monitor.
It is recommended that the LCD monitor be used with brightness slightly lower than the normal
level. This helps avoid brightness change due to long-term use and maintain stable brightness.
It is recommended that you clean the LCD monitor exterior periodically to extend its service life.
Do not perform cleaning and maintenance when the LCD monitor is energized. Disconnect the
LCD monitor power cable whenever possible.
Description and Maintenance of the LCD monitor
The screen is a key component of the LCD monitor and requires periodic maintenance.
Do not squeeze the edges of the LCD monitor or frame. Failure to comply may cause display
failure. Do not touch or press the screen with any sharp object. Failure to comply may damage the
screen.
Do not wipe the screen with a paper towel. Failure to comply may scratch the screen.
Keep the monitor housing and the screen away from organic solvents such as alcohol and gasoline
as well as chemical reagents such as acid and alkali. Failure to comply may reduce image display
quality and change and diminish the luster or color of the monitor housing and screen.
Do not clean the monitor housing or screen with any diluent, benzene, wax, and abrasive cleaning
agent that may damage the monitor housing and screen.
It is recommended that the surfaces of the monitor housing and panel be cleaned with special
screen cleaning cloth.
If necessary, after power-off, use a small piece of clean, soft cloth soaked with water to clean the
monitor housing and screen to remove dirt from the surface. Do not wipe repeatedly with force.
Safety Precautions
The LCD monitor has passed safety certification testing and can be used reliably and safely.
Please read this section and the precautions on the LCD monitor thoroughly to ensure safe use and
correct maintenance and to avoid accidents and man-made damage. Contact Hisense if you
encounter any problems when using the LCD monitor.

Safety Information and Precautions
Use the dedicated power adapter delivered with the LCD monitor. The adapter has an input
voltage of 100-240 VAC, a frequency of 50-60 Hz, and an output voltage of 24 VDC. When the
power adapter is damaged, contact Hisense or an authorized distributor. Do not use another type of
power adapter.
To avoid hazards, do not place the LCD monitor on a soft pad. If the LCD monitor will not be used
for a long time, disconnect its power cable. The LCD monitor contains hazardous high voltage
inside, so do not disassemble it by yourself. If the LCD monitor is abnormal, contact Hisense or an
authorized distributor.
Ensure that no sundries exist in the surrounding area of mains disconnection devices, such as the
switch, power plug, and appliance coupler, and that these devices are easy to operate.
Ensure that the socket in use is qualified and certified by a national safety standard, and prevent
socket overload.
Keep the LCD monitor away from any high-temperature and heat-generating object.
Use a dedicated power adapter with the CCC certification mark that is compatible with the LCD
monitor.

Overview
Thank you for purchasing Hisense LCD monitor, which complies with the DICOM Part 14 standard
and is applicable to DSA, MRI, DR, CR, CT, and PET medical imaging. It is intended for
professionally trained medical staff and provides the image viewing and medical diagnostic functions.
Features
Energy saving:
The LCD monitor automatically enters sleep mode when it detects no input signals.
Environmental friendliness:
The LCD monitor is equipped with an energy-efficient LED backlight LCD panel with a long
service life. The backlight is driven by low voltage, which eliminates the hazardous radiation to
the body and environment.
Ambient light induction:
The LCD monitor provides a built-in ambient light sensor to measure ambient light in the unit of
lux. In different environments, the LCD monitor automatically adjusts display effect based on
ambient light changes.
Front-facing sensor calibration:
The LCD monitor supports DICOM inspection and automatic calibration by using the front-facing
sensor and quality control software.
Digital ports:
The LCD monitor provides DVI-D and DisplayPort (DP) digital HD ports, and supports the DP
daisy chain.
Body-inductive energy-saving function:
The monitor has a human sensor which detects whether any operator stands before the monitor. If
yes, the monitor enters the energy-saving state.

CAUTION
When adjusting the height of the monitor, hold the left and right sides of the monitor with both
hands. Do not put your hands directly under the monitor to avoid pinching your hands when the
monitor reaches the lowest level. When rotating the monitor, adjust the monitor to the highest
point of the base to prevent the monitor from touching the base.
Depending on different models, some pictures or display modes in mode buttons may be different
from the actual product. The actual product shall prevail.

Installation
Hanging Arm Installation
Remove the base assembly to install the required hanging arm or base.
Follow the instructions in the User Guide when installing the hanging arm or base.
Before using the hanging bracket or base provided by another manufacturer, ensure that it meets
the following requirements and complies with the VESA standard:
- Screw hole spacing: 100 mm x 100 mm
– It is solid enough to bear the weight of the monitor (excluding the base) and accessories, such as
cables.
Before using the hanging bracket or base provided by another manufacturer, use the following
screw:
- Fix the base to the monitor screws (GB/T 818-2000\M4x12).
When using the hanging arm or base, install it based on the following inclination of the monitor:
– 15° upwards and 5° downwards
Connect cables after the hanging arm or base is installed.
Do not move the removed base vertically. Failure to comply may result in injury or equipment
damage.
The monitor and the hanging arm/base are heavy. Their falling may result in injury or equipment
damage.
Installation procedure
1) Place the LCD monitor on a stable bench top covered with a piece of soft cloth, with the panel
surface facing down.
2) Uninstall the base.
Remove the screw rubber stoppers and unfasten the four fixing screws on the monitor and base by
using a screwdriver.
3) Install the hanging arm or bracket on the monitor.
Fix the monitor on the hanging arm or base by using the screws specified by the User Guide.

channels for display. The following figure shows the PC connection diagram.

Installation
Use the DP OUT terminal to connect to another monitor as follows:
Output the input signals of the DP IN channel to another monitor through the DP OUT channel to
implement dual-screen independent display. The daisy chain must be supported by the graphics card.

Connect the LCD monitor to a PC by using the USB cable. The following figure shows the PC
connection diagram.

Buttons of the LCD monitor
When the monitor is vertically placed, there are six adjustment buttons and one power button at
the lower right side of the frame, and the functions are defined as follows:

DICOM300, DICOM350, DICOM400, DICOM450, DICOM500, DICOM550,
DICOM600, DICOM650, DICOM700, DICOM, Custom, and ALC.
Press this button to select the previous item or make adjustment. When no menu is
displayed, press this button to enter the backlight highlight state.
This button is used for downward selection or adjustment. When no menu is
available, you can press this button to enter the film clip mode.
OK button. Press this button to go to the main menu.
After you select a menu item, press this button to confirm the selection.
Press this button to return to the previous menu or close the current menu.
Press this button to start or shut down the LCD monitor, depending on the status of
the power indicator. When the LCD monitor is operating, the power indicator lights
on in green.
When the LCD monitor is shut down, the power indicator is turned off.
When the LCD monitor is in sleep mode, the power indicator lights on in orange.
Note
If the LCD monitor will not be used for a long time, shut down the LCD monitor or disconnect the
power plug to save power.
Mode Selection
When the LCD monitor is in the power-on state, you can select different display modes.
Mode Definition
DICOM Compliant with DICOM Part 14.
Custom Compliant with Gamma, with support for custom parameter settings.

Procedure:
1) Press the button on the LCD monitor to go to the Mode screen.
2) Press to select a display mode. In Custom mode, press ▲/▼ to adjust
backlight brightness. In DICOM300/DICOM350/
DICOM400/DICOM450/DICOM500/DICOM550/DICOM600/DICOM6
50/DICOM700 mode, after you press the button, the system automatically
switches to the DICOM mode.
3) Press to return to the desktop.
Note
The Mode screen disappears if no operations are performed within 10 seconds.
Light Box
After power-on, you can set the LCD monitor to light box
mode.
Procedure:
1) Press ▼ to call out the film clip mode adjustment page.
2) Press ▼ again to enter the film clip mode.
3) Press any other button to exit light box mode.
Note
The backlight highlight feature is available only when no menu
is displayed.

Backlight Highlight
After power-on, you can set the LCD monitor to enter the backlight highlight state.
Procedure:
1) Press ▲ to enter the backlight highlight state.
2) Press any button to exit the backlight highlight state.

The backlight highlight feature is available only when no menu is displayed.

Setting and Adjustment
Press on the monitor to call out the User menu.

Press ▲/▼ to select the main menu item you want to adjust or
set, and press to go to the next menu.

In each menu, you can perform the following
operations:

go to the next menu.

Note
After you select a mode and adjust its value, the LCD monitor displays content based on the
adjusted value.
Brightness
You can use this button to set the current monitor brightness. If the current mode is DICOM300,
DICOM350, DICOM400, DICOM450, DICOM500, DICOM550, DICOM600, DICOM650, or
DICOM700, the system automatically enters the DICOM mode after the brightness is adjusted.
Contrast
Set Contrast to adjust the contrast ratio in the current display mode. The value range is 0 to 100.
The default value is 50.
Note
This item can be adjusted only in Custom mode.

Gamma
Set Gamma to adjust the Gamma curve displayed by an image. Options are DICOM, CT, MRI,
DSA, DR, CR, MM, Gamma 1.8, Gamma 2.0, Gamma 2.2, Gamma 2.4, and Gamma 2.6.
Note
This item can be adjusted only in Custom mode.
Image Enhancing
You can use this button to set the image contrast enhancement effect for the modes DICOM300 to
DICOM.
Options are Off and Level 1 to Level 3. The default value is Off.
Level 1 to Level 3 are the image display effects set for any backlight.
Note
Image Contrast Enhancement is only available under the modes DICOM300 to DICOM.
Ambient Light compensate
You can use this button to set different film reading room effects in ALC mode.
Options are Operating rooms, Emergency medicine, Hospital clinical viewing stations, Staff
offices, CT/MR/NM, and x-rays. The default value is CT/MR/NM.
Note
Ambient Light compensate is only available in ALC mode.
Display Settings Lock
You can lock or unlock display parameter settings. The options include Lock and Unlock.
Mode Definition
Lock The other display parameters are grayed out and cannot be adjusted.
Unlock Display parameters are unlocked and can be set.
