Safety Precautions
Please read t e following recommended safety pre-
cautions carefully for your safety.
IMPORTANT SAFETY INFORMATION ON
OPERATING YOUR TV
Dos and Donts
DOs
This Television has been designed and manu-
factured to meet international safety standards,
but like any electrical equipment, care must be
taken if you are to obtain the best results and
safety is to be assured.
DO read the operating instructions before you
attempt to use the equipment.
DO consult your dealer if you are in any doubt
about installation, operation or safety of your
equipment.
DO be careful ith glass panels or doors on
equipment.
This TV is supplied ith a fitted mains plug. This
plug must not be cut off as it may contain a spe-
cial radio interference filter, the removal of hich
could lead to impaired performance. If you ish
to extend the lead, obtain an appropriate safety
approved extension lead or consult your dealer.
Observe the manufacturers instructions hen
connecting extension leads to the TV. Check the
fuse rating on the ne plug, this should be fitted
ith a 5 Amp fuse hich conforms to either ASTA
or BSI (BS1 362) approvals, these are easily
identifiable by either the or symbols. If
you are in any doubt about the installation of an
extension lead, please consult a competent
electrician.
DONTs
DONT continue to operate the equipment if you
are in any doubt about it orking normally, or if it
is damaged in any ay s itch off, ithdra the
mains plug and consult your dealer.
DONT place ater filled vessels on top of T.V.
cabinets.
DONT remove any fixed cover as this may ex-
pose dangerous voltages.
DONT leave equipment s itched on hen it is
unattended unless it is specifically stated that it
is designed for unattended operation or has a
stand-by mode. S itch off using the s itch on
the equipment and make sure your family kno
ho to do this. Special arrangements may need
to be made for infirm or handicapped people.
DONT use equipment such as personal stereos
or radios so that you are distracted from the re-
quirements of traffic safety. It is illegal to atch
television hilst driving.
DONT obstruct the ventilation of the equipment,
for example ith curtains or soft furnishings.
Overheating ill cause damage and shorten the
life of the equipment.
DONT use makeshift stands and NEVER fix legs
or stands to the TV ith any scre s other than
those provided - to ensure complete safety al-
ays use the manufacturers approved stand
ith the fixings provided.
DONT allo electrical equipment to be exposed
to rain or moisture.
ABOVE ALL
 NEVER let anyone, especially children push
anything into holes, slots or any other open-
ing in the case - this could result in a fatal
electric shock
 NEVER guess or take chances with electrical
equipment of any kind - it is better to be safe
than sorry!
PE Connection to mains
Be sure to ground t e connection properly. Connect t e ground terminal of TV wit t e
ground terminal provided at t e power outlet using t e enclosed power cord. If t e
provided plug does not fit your outlet, consult an electrician for replacement of t e
obsolete outlet.

1.Power Source
T e TV set s ould be operated only from a 220-240 V
AC, 50 Hz outlet. Ensure t at you select t e correct
voltage setting for your convenience.
2.Power Cord
 Do not place t e set, a piece of furniture, etc. on t e
power cord (mains lead) or pinc t e cord. Handle
t e power cord by t e plug. Do not pull out t e plug by
tugging t e cord and never touc t e power cord
w en your ands are wet as t is could cause a s ort
circuit or electric s ock. Never make a knot in t e cord
or tie it wit ot er cords. T e power cords s ould be
placed in suc a way t at t ey are not likely to be
stepped on. A damaged power cord can cause fire or
give you an electric s ock. W en it is damaged and
needs to be c anged, it s ould be done by qualified
personnel.
3. Mois ure and Wa er
Do not use t is equipment in a umid and damp place
(avoid t e bat room, t e sink in t e kitc en, and near
t e was ing mac ine). Do not expose t is equipment
to rain or water, as t is may be dangerous and do not
place objects filled wit liquids, suc as flower vases,
on top. Avoid from dripping or splas ing.
If any solid object or liquid falls into t e cabinet, unplug
t e TV and ave it c ecked by qualified personnel
before operating it any furt er.
4.Cleaning
Before cleaning, unplug t e TV set from t e wall out-
let. Do not use liquid or aerosol cleaners. Use soft and
dry clot .
5. Ven ila ion
T e slots and openings on t e TV set are intended for
ventilation and to ensure reliable operation. To pre-
vent over eating, t ese openings must not be blocked
or covered in anyway.
6. Hea and Flames
T e set s ould not be placed near to naked flames
and sources of intense eat, suc as an electric
eater. Ensure t at no naked flame sources, suc as
lig ted candles, are placed on top of t e TV. Batteries
s all not be exposed to excessive eat suc as sun-
s ine, fire or t e like.
7. Ligh ning
In case of storm and lig tning or w en going on oli-
day, disconnect t e power cord from t e wall outlet.
8. Replacemen Par s
W en replacement parts are required, be sure t e
service tec nician as used replacement parts w ic
are specified by t e manufacturer or ave t e same
specifications as t e original one. Unaut orized sub-
stitutions may result in fire, electrical s ock, or ot er
azards.
9. Servicing
Please refer all servicing to qualified personnel. Do
not remove t e cover yourself as t is may result in an
electric s ock.
10. Was e Disposal
Instructions for waste disposal:
 Packaging and packaging aids are recyclable and
s ould principally be recycled. Packaging materials,
suc as foil bag, must be kept away from c ildren.
 Battery, including t ose w ic are eavy metal-free,
s ould not be disposed of wit ouse old waste.
Please dispose of used battery in an environmentally
sound manner. Find out about t e legal regulations
w ic apply in your area.
 Cold cat ode fluoresant lamp in LCD PANEL con-
tains a small amount of mercury; please follow local
ordinates or regulations for disposal.

mains and t erefore it s all remain readily operable.
12. Excessive sound pressure from earp ones and
eadp ones can cause earing loss.

option is available).

Apparatus connected to t e protective eart ing of
t e building installation t roug t e mains connection
or t roug ot er apparatus wit a connection to pro-
tective eart ing - and to a television distribution sys-
tem using coaxial cable, may in some circumstances
create a fire azard.
To ground t e antenna system properly, be sure t at
t e cable grounding is connected wit t e building's
grounding system. Note t at t e connection s ould
follow IEC 60364-7-707 and IEC 603646-5-548 stan-
dards w ic require t at t e grounding s ould be as
close as possible to t e cable connection.

nstallation Of The TFT TV To The Wall
1- To install t e TFT TV on t e wall, first of all, foot assembly s ould be removed. (Figure 1). Unscrew t e 6
screws (M4 x 12) t at attac t e foot assembly to t e TFT panel and remove t e foot assembly from t e
TFT panel.
2- Decide t e place on t e wall w ere t e TFT panel would be placed. Fix t e wall mounting stencil on t e
wall.
T e stencil is used for placing t e wall angers on t e wall, properly.
3- Level and mark wit a pencil t e 4 mounting points on eac wall anger.
Drill pilot oles for t e plastic anc ors (7x30) and t en fix t e wall angers wit 8 screws
(4 x 30).
4- Raise t e TFT panel and ang it to t e oles on t e wall anger from t e 4 anging screws at t e rear of t e
TFT panel.

Handling he Remo e Con rol
 It could cause corrosion or battery leakage and may
result in p ysical injury and/or property damage in-
cluding fire.
 Never mix used and new batteries in t e device.
 Replace all t e batteries in a device at t e same time.
 Remove t e batteries if t e remote control is not
going to be used for an extended period of time.
 To avoid possible failure, read t e following instruc-
tions and andle t e remote control properly.
 Do not drop or cause impact to t e remote control.
 Do not spill water or any liquid on t e remote control.
 Do not place t e remote control on a wet object.
 Do not place t e remote control under t e direct
sunlig t or near sources of excessive eat.
NOTE: Remove the battery from remote control
handset when it is not to be used for a long
eriod. Otherwise it can be damaged due
to any leakage of battery.
Opera ing Range for he Remo e Con rol
 Point t e top of t e remote control toward t e LCD
TV's remote sensor LED w ile pressing a button.
Remote range is a roximately 7m/23ft.
Preparation
For ventilation, leave a space of at least 10 cm free all
around t e set. To prevent any fault and unsafe situ-
ations, please do not place any objects on top of t e
set.
Use t is apparatus in moderate climates.
Before Switching On Your TV
Power Connec ion
IMPORTANT: The TV set is designed to o erate on
220-240 AC, 50 Hz
 After unpacking, allow t e TV set to reac t e ambi-
ent room temperature before you connect t e set to
t e mains.
Connec ions To The Aerial Inpu Socke
 Connect t e aerial or cable TV plug to t e Aerial input
socket located at t e rear of t e TV and connect t e
cable plug coming out from t e TV out socket lo-
cated on t e devices (VCR, DVB etc.) to t is socket
as well.
Inser ing Ba eries In The Remo e
Con rol Handse
WARNING : Remote control is battery included.
A lastic rotector is used to dis-
connect the batteries in order to re-
vent the battery life from reducing.
Please remove the lastic rotector
before the first use.
 Remove t e battery cover located on t e back of t e
andset by gently pulling backwards from t e indi-
cated part.
 Insert two AA/ 06 or equivalent type batteries in-
side. Place t e batteries in t e rig t directions and
replace t e battery cover.

Switching The TV ON/OFF
To swi ch he TV on:
Your TV will switc on in two steps:
1- Connect t e power cord to t e system. Press Power
ON/OFF switc . T en t e TV switc es itself to
stand-by mode (optional).
Note t at t e TV will always switc to stand-by mode,
if you press POWE ON/OFF button w ile Child Lock
is set to ON.
2- To switc on t e TV from stand-by mode eit er:
Press a digit button on t e remote control so t at a
programme number is selected, or Press t e "-P/CH"
or "P/CH+" button on t e TV or press t e P+ or P-
button on t e remote control, so t at last mode
switc ed off is selected.
By eit er met od t e TV will switc on.
To swi ch he TV off:
 Press t e  (stand-by) button on t e remote con-
trol or On/Off switc on t e TV, so t e TV will switc
to stand-by mode.
To power down t e TV completely, press On/Off switc
or,
Unplug t e power cord from t e mains socket.
Navigating the Menu System

nitial Settings
W en t e TV is turned on for t e first time, IDTV is on
first. Because t is is t e first time t at IDTV as been
used, t ere are no c annels stored in t e memory.
W en t e TV is turned on for t e first time, t e menu
for t e language selection appears on t e screen.
T e message Welcome please select your lan-
guage! is written in all language options sequen-
tially in t e menu on t e screen.
By pressing or buttons ig lig t t e language
you want to set and press OK button. In t e menu
Set Language is written next to OK item to indicate
t at Press SELECT button to set t e ig lig ted lan-
guage option.
You can get information about t e menu usage by
pressing button. And press button again to
exit t e elp menu.
After t en, First time Installation Menu will appear on
screen. By pressing or buttons, selected coun-
try item you want to set and press OK button.
After t e First time Installation is set, t e following
message appears on t e screen.
 To start automatic searc , select Yes, to cancel
select No.
 To select an option Yes or No, ig lig t t e item by
using or buttons and press OK button.
T e IDTV will automatically tune to t e transmission
c annels according to selected country standards
looking for digital terrestrial TV broadcasts and dis-
playing t e names of c annels found. T is process
will take about five minutes. To cancel searc ing, you
can press button at any time during t e process.

After Automatic Search process is completed, t e
following message asking for analogue c annel searc
appears on t e screen. TV switc es to t e analogue
TV mode:
Select your Language, Country and Text language by

buttons. Press OK button to
continue. To cancel, press BLUE button.

Everyday Operation
Pressing t e TV/DTT button at any time w ile watc -
ing television programmes will switc t e TV set be-
tween t e digital terrestrial television broadcasting
and t e analogue broadcasting.
Informa ion Banner
 W enever you c ange t e c annel using t e P + or
P - buttons or t e number buttons, TV displays t e
c annel picture along wit an information banner at
t e bottom of t e screen. T is will remain on t e
screen for approximately t ree seconds.
 T e information banner can also be displayed by press-
ing t e button at any time w ile watc ing t e TV.
Pressing t e button again removes t e banner.
T e information banner gives a number of facts on t e
c annel selected and t e programme on it:
 T e name of t e c annel is displayed along wit its
c annel list number and an indication of t e strengt of
t e signal received on t is tuning c annel.
 T e current and next programme information are given
wit t e start and finis time.
 T e current time information is displayed along wit
c annel name.
Hint
Not all c annels broadcast t e programme data. If t e
name and times of t e programme are not available t en
No Information Available is displayed in t e information
banner.
If t e selected c annel is locked, you must enter t e correct
four digit key to view t e c annel.
ELECTRONIC PROGRAMME GUIDE(EPG)
Some, but not all, c annels send information about t e cur-
rent and next events. Please note t at event information is
updated automatically. If t ere is no event information data
available for c annels, only c annel name wit No Infor-
mation Available banner is displayed.
 Press GUIDE button to view t e EPG menu.
 Press or buttons to navigate in C annels or
Programmes.
 Press or buttons to navigate t roug t e c annel
and programme list.
 In EPG Menu, you can easily see t e extended elp
information by pressing t e button and by pressing
t is button again you can close t is window.
 In t e EPG Menu all c annels are displayed. T e current
c annel is ig lig ted w en you enter t e EPG menu.
 Use or buttons to c ange t e c annel. Also
press ED or G EEN buttons to make page up/down
scroll for t e c annels. And press OK button to
watc t e ig lig ted c annel.
 If you ig lig t an event, s ort event description,
extended event description, start and finis time of
t e event are displayed on t e screen.
 If you press OK button w en a next event is ig -
lig ted, a reminder is set for t e ig lig ted
programme and a clock icon appears across t e
ig lig ted c annel line as s own in t e following
EPG menu figure.
Programme reminders is set to signal t at a
programme is about to start w en you are watc ing
anot er c annel. If you set reminder to a programme,

Displaying The Sub i les
Wit Digital terrestrial broadcasting (DVB-T), some
programmes are broadcast wit subtitles. Subtitles
can be displayed w en watc ing t ese programmes.
 W enever G EEN button is pressed, Subtitle selec-
tion OSD will be displayed on t e screen. You can
set Subtitles as ON or OFF. For Subtitle Language
options, refer to Language Settings in t e Con-
figuration Menu section.
TELETEXT
Use of teletext and and its functions are identical to
t e analogue text system. Please do refer to t e Ana-
logue teletext explanations.
DTV Menu System
T e IDTV Menu can only be s own w en watc ing
Digital terrestrial broadcasting. Press t e TV/DTT but-
ton to turn t e IDTV on w ile TV is in t e analogue
mode.

Channel Lis
Using or buttons on t e remote control in Main
menu, make sure t at t e first item, C annel List, is
ig lig ted and press t e OK button to display t e
Channel List.

4. enaming channels
5. Adding locks to channels
6. Setting favourites
*Depending on your selection of Country in the
first time installation, MOVE option of the
Channel List may not be visible.

Navigating the whole channel list
 Press or keys for selecting t e previous or
next c annel.
 You can press or buttons to move page up or
page down.
 To watc a specific c annel, ig lig t it using or
buttons and t en press OK button, w ile t e
Select item on C annel List menu is ig lig ted
via using or buttons.
Moving the channels in the channel list
 Press or buttons to select t e c annel t at
will be moved.
 Press or buttons to select t e Move item on
C annel List menu.
Move is written next to OK item to indicate t at
press OK to move t e ig lig ted c annel to t e de-
sired position on t e c annel list.
 Press OK button, t e selected c annel becomes
ig lig ted.
 Use or buttons to select t e new position of
t e c annel and press OK button to place t e c an-
nel to t e selected position and return t e menu.
Deleting the channels in the channel list
 Press or buttons to select t e c annel t at
will be deleted.
 Press or buttons to select t e Delete item on
C annel List menu.
As seen on C annel List menu, Delete is written
next to OK item at t e bottom of t e screen to indicate
t at press OK button to delete t e ig lig ted c annel
in t e c annel list.
Press OK button to delete t e ig lig ted c annel in
t e c annel list. T en t e message below appears on
t e screen.
 Press or buttons to ig lig t t e desired op-
tion.
 If OK button is pressed w ile Yes is ig lig ted,
t e ig lig ted c annel is deleted.
 Selecting No cancels t e delete operation.
Renaming channels
To rename a specific c annel, t e c annel must be
ig lig ted via pressing or buttons and t en
ig lig t t e Edit Name item by pressing or
buttons. Press OK button to activate rename feature.
Now pressing or buttons moves to t e previ-
ous/next c aracter. Pressing or buttons
toggles t e current c aracter, i.e., b c aracter be-
comes a on and c on . Pressing t e numeric
buttons 0...9 replaces t e ig lig ted c aracter wit
t e c aracters printed above t e key one by one as
t e button is pressed.

Adding locks to channels
C annel Locking provides a password-protected ac-
cess to c annels selected by parents.
In order to lock a c annel you s ould know t e Paren-
tal Lock password (default value is set to 0000 in t e
factory and can only be c anged from t e Configu-
ration Menu).
By pressing or buttons, ig lig t t e c annel
to be locked and select t e Lock option by press-
ing or buttons.T en press t e OK button, a
password box is displayed.
Setting Favou ites
You can set various c annels as favourites so t at
only t e favourite c annels are navigated. To set a
favourite you s ould ig lig t t e Favourites item
at bottom of t e C annel List menu.
To set a favourite you s ould ig lig t t e
Favourites item at bottom of t e C annel List menu,
and t en pressing OK key, Edit Favourite Lists menu
appears on t e screen.
You can list your favourite c annels using List 1, List
2, List 3, List 4 or List 5.
Using 5 lists enables listing c annels for diffrerent
categories (sport, music etc.). And by activating t e
favourites list number t at you want in Favourite
Mode submenu of Configuration menu, you enable
only t e c annels in t e selected list. Configuration
menu is entered from t e Main Menu.
How To Add A Channel To A Favourite List:
 By pressing / buttons, ig lig t t e c annel
t at you want to add to t e favourite list.
 Select t e list number by pressing / buttons.
 By pressing button, t e ig lig ted c annel is
added to selected list number.
For eac c annel, an icon indicates w ic favourite
list a c annel is in. (i.e. In figure above, icon
indicates t at BBC ONE is added to List 1.)
To remove any channel that is added to a
favourite list:
 Hig lig t t e c annel t at you want to remove from
t e favourite list you ave added;
 Hig lig t t e list number t at t e c annel will be
removed, and press OK button. T e icon indicating
t e added list number disappears on t e menu.
Note: A channel can be added to more than one
favourite list.
To activate Favourites, go to t e Configuration menu
and select t e list number in Favourite Mode you
want to activate by pressing or buttons. To
cancel Favourites, set Favourite Mode to Off.
Using BLUE button to navigate through the
favourite channels:
You can navigate t roug t e favourite c annel lists
via pressing BLUE button. For eac pressing of BLUE
button, you can navigate t roug t e favourite c an-
nels t at are top of t e eac c annel list, sequentially.
W ile a c annel list is selected, you can navigate
t roug t e favourite c annels in t at list by pressing
P + or P - buttons.

Automatic Search:
Automatic searc is started by pressing OK button
w ile Automatic Search item is ig lig ted.
T e following message appears on t e screen.

If Yes is selected, Automatic Searc is started.
Selecting No cancels Automatic Searc .
After searc is completed for digital c annels, a mes-
sage asking searc for analogue c annels appears
on t e screen.

Select your Language, Country and Text language by

After APS is finalized, t e programme table will ap-
pear on t e screen. In t e programme table you will
see t e programme numbers and names assigned to
t e programmes.
If you do not accept t e locations and / or t e
rogramme names, you can c ange t em in aps sub-
menu in t e settings menu.
All t e services are searc ed and a c annel table is
created automatically.
All c annels found are stored in a sorted form wit
respect to t eir c annel numbers. Some services
may not appear wit t e correct c annel number. At
t e time of printing, not all broadcasters are sending
t eir c annel number information.

Manual Search:
In Manual Search, t e number of t e multiplex is
entered manually and only t at multiplex is searc ed
for t e c annels. For every valid c annel number,
signal level, signal quality and network name are
s own at t e bottom of t e screen.
In bot manual and auto searc any existing c annel
in t e database is not re-stored to avoid redundant
duplicates of t at c annel.
First Time Installation
T e user can use t is item to load default settings,
w ic ad been loaded to t e receiver at t e factory.
To install factory settings, ig lig t First Time In-
stallation menu item and press OK button, t en you
will be asked to tings. Selecting Yes by pressing OK
button w ile t e Yes is ig lig ted and t en t e
existing c annel table will be deleted.
After factory settings is loaded, First Time Instal-
lation menu will be displayed.
T e menu w ic is displayed for language selection
appears on t e screen at first. By using or
buttons, select t e desired language option, and press
OK button to activate.
After t e language is selected, a message asking for
automatic searc start appears on t e screen.

press OK button to start installation. After searc is
completed for digital c annels, a message asking
searc for analogue c annels appears on t e screen.

press OK button to sear for analogue c annels.T e

By pressing or button, adjust t e Country item
and press to ig lig t Language item. Use or
button to set Language. Use or buttons to

Configura ion
Press button to display t e Main Menu and t e
button twice to ig lig t Configuration, t en press OK
button to display t e Configuration menu. Press
button to exit t e menu.

rently selected c annel. You can select a function by
ig lig ting t e corresponding menu line using t e

Favourite Mode
T is function enables or disables t e favourite c an-
nel list mode.
Use or buttons to set Favourite Mode to List 1,
List 2,..., List 5 or Off.
Selecting Off disables t e favourite c annel List
mode.
If t e Favourite Mode is set on via selecting a
c annel list number, in normal operating mode press-
ing P + and P - buttons will only navigate t roug t e
c annels t at were previously defined as favourites
in t e selected c annel list.
Channel List
In t e Configuration Menu, ig lig t t e Channel List item
by pressing or buttons.
Use t e or buttons to set t e Channel List to
TV only or Radio only.
T is feature enables navigation only t roug t e se-
lected c annel list type.
If Radio only is set, you can only navigate t roug
t e Radio c annels in t e c annel list via using P + or
P - buttons.
Language Settings
In t e configuration Menu, ig lig t t e Language Set-
tings item by pressing or buttons. Press OK
and Language Settings sub menu will be displayed on
t e screen:

 W enever YELLOW button is pressed, Audio Lan-
guage selection OSD will be displayed on t e screen.
Subtitle Language
Digital terrestrial television c annels can broadcast
wit subtitles displayed on-screen for t e ard-of-
earing. T is function selects t e desired subtitle lan-
guage and enables t e automatic display of subtitles
w enever subtitle information is broadcast.
Use or buttons to cycle t roug Off and
language options.
Parental Settings
Some c annels broadcast material w ic you do not
want younger members of t e family to watc . Any
c annel can be locked so t at it cannot be selected
for viewing wit out first a four-digit PIN code being
entered. In t is way any c annel not suitable for
younger viewers can be protected.
T is function enables or disables t e menu protection
system and allows t e PIN code to be c anged. C an-
nel And Menu Protection Lock feature.
Use or buttons to ig lig t Parental Settings.
Press OK button to enter Parental Settings Menu. A
box asking for t e lock key is displayed.
T ere is only one key w ic is set to 0000 initially.
Enter lock key. If wrong Lock key is entered, t e fol-
lowing message is displayed on t e screen and it is
returned back.
If it is correct, t e Parental Settings Menu including
