Power source
The TVsetshouldbe operated onlyfroma220-240
VAC,50 Hzoutlet.Ensure thatyou selectthe correct
voltage setting for yourconvenience.
WARNING: Donotleave your TV instandby or
operating mode when you leave your house.
Power cord and plug
Donotplace the set, apiece offurniture,etc. on the
powercord (mainslead) orpinchthecord.Handlethe
power cord by the plug.Donotunplug the appliance
by pulling from the power cord and never touch the
powercordwithwethandsas thiscouldcauseashort
circuitor electricshock.Nevermakeaknotinthecord
or tieitwithother cords.The power cords shouldbe
placedinsuch awaythatthey arenotlikelytobe
stepped on.Adamaged power cord can cause re or
give you an electricshock.When itisdamaged and
needs tobe replaced,itshouldbe done by quali ed
personnel.
ThisTV receiverissupplied withamoulded mains
plug.The mains plug mustnotbe cutoff,as itmay

Observethemanufacturers instructions when
connectingextensionleadstothe set.Check thefuse

Moisture and Water
Donotuse thisdevice inahumidand
dampplace(avoidthebathroom,the
sink inthe kitchen,and nearthewashing
machine).Donotexpose thisdevice to
rainor water,as thismay be dangerous

Replacement Parts
When replacementpartsarerequired,make surethat
the service technician has used replacementparts,

same speci cationsastheoriginalone.Unauthorized

Servicing

LCD Screen
TheLCDpanelisavery hightechnology productwith
aboutamillion thin lmtransistors,giving you ne
picture details. Occasionally, afew non-active pixels
may appear on the screen as a xed blue,green or
red point. Please notethatthisdoes notaffectthe
performance ofyour product.
Connection to a Television Distribution
System (Cable TVetc.) from Tuner
Device connected totheprotectiveearthingofthe
building installation through the mains connection or
throughotherapparatuswithaconnectiontoprotective
earthing-and toatelevision distribution system using
coaxialcable,may insome circumstances createa
re hazard.
Connectiontoacabledistributionsystemhas
therefore tobe provided through adevice providing
electricalisolation belowacertainfrequency range
(galvanicisolator,see EN60728-11).
The Standby /Onbutton doesn´tseparatethis•
device completelyfrom mains.Moreover the device
consumes power inthe standby operation.Inorder

mains plug has tobe pulled from the mains socket.

Takingout ofservice and storing
Unplug the TVfrom the mains and pack the TVin
an appropriatecardboardbox.Remove the batteries

Toselectthe“Yes” or “No” option,highlightthe item by

Afterwards,the following OSDwillbedisplayedonthe
