Assembly Instructions
Components for installation close to the ceiling
Scope of delivery:
• 1x HOFA Ceiling Sail
• 4x standard dowels
• 8x screw hooks
Notes on the drilling template
• Depending on the size of the HOFA sail, the tem-
plate must be rotated and moved. Take the exact
value from the illustration shown.
• Use a suitable adhesive material such as e.g. strong
tape or plasticine.
• Assembly is much easier with a second person.

Note on the ceiling sail 180:
• After you have marked the rst drilling points, the drilling
template for the other drilling points must be moved by
60 cm.
• You can use either the printed ruler or the 60 cm high drilling
template as a distance meter.
• The individual steps can be taken from the illustration shown.

1. Place drilling template
Place the template at the corners of the HOFA
Ceiling Sail as shown above and mark the drilling
points.
Repeat the step for the opposite points of the cei-
ling sail.
2. Screw the hook into the sail
Now screw the screw hooks into the marked
drilling points so that the hooks in the sail all
point in the same direction.
3. Attach the template to the ceiling
Let a second person help you and attach the dril-
ling template to the ceiling with some adhesive
plasticine or tape.
Now mark the rst drilling points and set an au-
xiliary line at the lower edge.
4. Rotate template
To get the drilling points of the opposite half,
the template must be rotated and moved.
With the ceiling sail 180 the distance is 60 cm.
Reattach the template at the measured position
and mark the last drilling points.

Drill the holes and insert the appropriate dowels.
Now turn the screw hooks into the dowels. The
screw hooks should all point in one direction so
that you can easily hang in the ceiling sail.
Now hang the ceiling sail into all four installed
screw hooks at the same time.

• For plasterboard ceilings, dowels are required, which are not included in the scope of delivery.
• Please make sure that the wall has sucient load-bearing capacity.
We do not guarantee if your wall cannot hold the weight.

Care instructions
• For dust or small dirt particles, please use a feather duster or vacuum cleaner.
• In the case of slight soiling / stains, you can put mineral water on a soft sponge and gently wipe
o.
• For medium soiling / stains, you can put upholstery cleaner on a soft sponge and wipe it o care-
fully.
• In the case of severe soiling / stains, you can apply bleach to a soft sponge and rub it in carefully,
then clean with mineral water.
When choosing the right cleaning agent, you should make sure that it is neutral in color (white or trans-
parent). If possible, try cleaning in an inconspicuous place and not on the visible side.
