Sicherheitsvorkehrungen
Alle Sicherheitshinweise sind mit den Worten „WARNUNG“ und
„VORSICHT“ gekennzeichnet. Diese Wörter bedeuten Folgendes:
WARNUNG Wichtige Informationen, um Sie auf eine
Situation aufmerksam zu machen, die zu
schweren Verletzungen und
Sachschäden führen kann, wenn die
Anweisungen nicht befolgt werden.
VORSICHT Wichtige Informationen zur Vermeidung
von
Schäden am Gerät.
Bei der Verwendung der Waage sollten die folgenden
Sicherheitsvorkehrungen immer befolgt werden:
WARNUNG
Verwenden Sie nur das richtige Netzteil mit der Waage. Andere
Adapter können dauerhafte elektrische Schäden verursachen.
VORSICHT
Stellen Sie die Waage nicht in direktes Sonnenlicht, da dies zu
Verfärbungen oder Fehlfunktionen führen kann.
Ersetzen Sie alle Batterien gleichzeitig und benutzen Sie nur Batterien
des gleichen Typs. Wenn die Waage längere Zeit nicht benutzt wird,
entfernen Sie alle Batterien aus dem Batteriefach, um ein Auslaufen zu
vermeiden, das zu Schäden an dieser Waage führen kann.
Vermeiden Sie eine Überlastung, dies könnte zu Schäden am Gerät
führen. Die Waage ist nicht wasserbeständig und wird beschädigt,
wenn das Innere der Waage nass wird.

2. Aufstellen der Waage
VORSICHT
Vermeiden Sie einen Standort mit direkter Sonneneinstrahlung, da dies
zu Verfärbungen oder Fehlfunktionen führen kann. Stellen Sie Ihre
Waage auf einen festen, ebenen Untergrund, so dass sie waagerecht
steht. Die Waage kann sonst kein genaues Ergebnis liefern.
WIEGEFUNKTION
Vorbereitung
Lassen Sie die Waage nach Möglichkeit nach dem ersten Einschalten
10 Minuten lang aufwärmen, damit sie exakt und genau funktioniert.

Wiegevorgang
1. Drücken Sie die Taste [I/O] um das Gerät einzuschalten.
Wenn der Strom eingeschaltet wird, erscheinen alle
Anzeigesegmente ( 88888) einige Sekunden lang auf dem LCD.
Danach wird „0“ angezeigt.
2. Wählen Sie die Wiegeeinheit über die Taste [MODE].
Wählen Sie über die Taste [MODE] die gewünschte Einheit
(kg oder g) aus.
3. Wiegevorgang starten
Gegenstände zum Wiegen auf die Wiegeplattform legen, oder in
einen Behälter füllen, dessen Gewicht zuvor über die Taste TARA
subtrahiert wurde.
Der Gewichtswert wird angezeigt.

HOLD FUNKTION
Die “Hold” Funktion ermöglicht das Wiegen grösserer Gegenstände
oder Behältnisse, die die Anzeige überdecken, sodass die Gewichts-
angabe nicht abgelesen werden kann.
Nach Drücken der HOLD Taste wird das gemessene Gewicht für 120
Sekunden im Display angezeit. Der Behälter kann so von der
Wiegeplattform entfernt und das Gewicht abgelesen werden.
1. Platzieren Sie den zu wiegenden Gegenstand.
2. Drücken Sie die HOLD Taste. Die HOLD-Anzeige erscheint im
Display.
3. Nehmen Sie nun den Gegenstand von der Wiegeplattform.
Des gemessene Ergebnis kann nun abgelesen werden.
Um die HOLD Funktion abzubrechen drücken Sie erneut die HOLD
Taste. Im Display erscheint wieder die Ausgangsanzeige 0.
KALIBRIERUNG
Wann ist eine Kalibrierung empfohlen
Bei der Erstinstallation kann eine Kalibrierung erforderlich sein, wenn
die Waage einen längeren Transportweg zurückgelegt hat. Dies ist
notwendig, weil das Gewicht einer Masse an einem Ort nicht unbedingt
dem gleichen Gewicht an einem anderen Ort entspricht.
Außerdem können mit der Zeit und dem Gebrauch mechanische
Abweichungen auftreten.
Kalibriervorgang
1. Vor Beginn der Kalibrierung schalten Sie die Waage über die Taste
[I/O] ein und lassen sie mindestens 1 Minute laufen.
2. Drücken Sie die Taste [CAL] für 2 Sekunden, nun wird im Display
“CAL” angezeigt und kurz darauf blinkt die Anzeige “0”.

3. Drücken Sie erneut die Taste [CAL]. Im Display wird “0”angezeigt
und nach ca. 1 Sekunde erscheint blinkend das erforderliche
Kalibriergewicht in der Anzeige.
4. Stellen Sie nun das angezeigte Gewicht auf die Wiegeplattform.
Nach erneutem Drücken der Taste [CAL] erscheint im Display die
Anzeige "PASS". Damit ist die Kalibrierung abgeschlossen und die
Anzeige geht zurück in den Wiegemodus.
5. Schalten Sie nun die Waage aus und wieder ein und überprüfen
Sie, ob die Waage korrekt wiegt. Falls nicht, wiederholen Sie den
Kalibrierungsprozess etwas langsamer.
6. Ist das Ergebnis nach wiederholter Kalibration immer noch falsch :
1) Ersetzen Sie die Batterien
2) Versuchen Sie es auf einem stabileren Untergrund
3) Stellen Sie sicher, dass das Gerät nicht aus irgenwelchen
Gründen statisch geladen ist (verwenden Sie ein Antistatikspray,
um diesen Fall zu vermeiden).

SAFETY PRECAUTIONS
All safety messages are identified by the words "WARNING" and
"CAUTION". These words mean the following:
WARNING
Important information to alert you to a situation
that might cause serious injury and damage to
your property if instructions are not followed.
CAUTION Important information that tells how to prevent
damage to equipment.
When using the scale, the following safety precautions should always
be followed.
WARNING
Use only the AC adaptor with the scale. Other adaptor may cause
damage.
CAUTION
Avoid installing the scale in direct sunlight, this may cause discoloration
or malfunctions.
Do not mix the type of batteries. Replace all other batteries at the same
time.
If the scale is not to be used for a long period of time, remove all
batteries from the battery compartment to avoid leakage which may
cause damage to the instrument.
Avoid overloading that could cause damage to the scale.
Do not drop water in the scale that is not water-resistant. It causes
damage, if inside of the scale is wet.
Matter charged static electricity could influence the weighing.
Discharge the static electricity. As example, the method is to use the
electrification prevention spray, to spray it to both side of weighing
platform.

PREPARATION

2. Setting up the scale
CAUTION
Avoid installing the scale in direct sunlight, that may cause discolor-
ation or malfunctions. Place your scale on a firm weighing table so that
the scale is in level. (The scale will not perform accurately when it is
not in level.)

Weighing procedures
1. Press [I/O] to turn on the scale.
When the power is turned on the display will show all segments
(88888) for a few seconds and then "0" will appear on the display.
2. Select the weighing unit with [MODE].
Press [MODE] to select the weighing unit, "kg" or "g".
3. Start weighing
Place the objects to be weighted onto the weighing platform.
When the reading becomes stable, the weighing is displayed.
HOLD FUNCTION
The “hold” function allows the weighing of large boxes or items that hang
past the edge of the platform and cover or block the scale display,
preventing the weight from being read. Once the HOLD key is pressed,

the weight will remain on the display for 120 seconds after the item has
been removed from the scale so the weight can easily be read without
any interference.
1. Place the item on the scale platform.
2. Press the HOLD key. The “.” indicator will turn-on.
3. Remove the item from the scale platform. The item’s weight reading
will remain on the display.
Press the TARA key to cancel the hold reading and return the scale to
reading zero. You may also press HOLD key to exit Hold function.
CALIBRATION
When to calibrate
Calibration may be required when it is initially installed, if the scale is
moved to a substantial distance.
This is necessary because the weight of a mass in one location is not
necessarily the same in another location. Also, with time and use,
mechanical deviations may occur.
How to calibrate
1. Before entering calibration mode, press [I/O] to turn the power on
for 1 minutes.
2. Press [CAL] key for 2 seconds, the display will show “CAL”, and
then show flashing “0”.
3. Press [CAL] key, the display will show “0”, then the display will
return to the random flashing calibration weight after 1 seconds.
4. Place the calibration weight on the platform.
Press [CAL] key, the display will show "PASS", then it will return to
normal weighing. Now calibration is complete.

5. Turn the scale OFF (Press the [I/O] key), then turn it back ON and
check some weight readings. If calibration is still incorrect, repeat
calibration but try it more slowly.
6. If calibration is repeatedly incorrect then:
1) Replace the batteries
2) Try a more stable surface
3) Be sure there is no static electricity on the scale
(use an anti- static spray to remove static electricity)

Lors de l’utilisation de la balance, les mesures de sécurité suivantes
devraient toujours être respectées :
PRECAUTION
N’utilisez que le bon adaptateur secteur avec la balance. D’autres
adaptateurs peuvent provoquer des dommages électriques
permanents.
ATTENTION
Ne placez pas la balance à la lumière directe du soleil, car cela peut
entraîner une décoloration ou un dysfonctionnement.
Remplacez toutes les batteries en même temps et n'utilisez que des
batteries du même type. Si la balance n'est pas utilisée pendant une
longue période, retirez toutes les batteries du compartiment à batteries
afin d'éviter une fuite qui pourrait endommager cette balance.
Évitez une surcharge – elle pourrait endommager l'appareil. La
balance n'est pas résistante à l'eau et sera endommagée si l'intérieur
de la balance est mouillé.

2. Mise en place de la balance
PRECAUTION
Évitez un emplacement exposé à la lumière directe du soleil, car cela
peut entraîner une décoloration ou un dysfonctionnement. Placez votre
balance sur une surface solide et plane, afin qu'elle soit à l'horizontale.
Sinon, la balance ne peut pas fournir un résultat précis.
FONCTION DE PESAGE
Préparation
Si possible, laissez la balance se réchauffer pendant 10 minutes après
la première mise en marche pour qu'elle fonctionne avec précision et
exactitude.

Procédure de pesage
1. Appuyez sur la touche [I/O] pour mettre l'appareil sous tension.
Lorsque l'alimentation est activée, tous les segments d'affichage
(88888) apparaissent sur l'écran LCD pendant quelques secondes.
2. Sélectionnez l’unité de pesage souhaitée par la touche [MODE].
3. Démarrer la procédure de pesage
Mettre les objets à peser sur la plate-forme de pesage ou les remplir
dans un récipient dont le poids a été préalablement soustrait à l'aide
de la touche TARA
La valeur du poids est indiquée.

FONCTION HOLD
La fonction "Hold" permet de peser des objets plus grands que le
récipient. Les récipients qui couvrent l'affichage ne permettent pas de
lire le poids. Après avoir appuyé sur la touche HOLD, le poids mesuré
s'affiche pendant 120 secondes. sur l'écran. Le récipient peut ainsi être
retiré de la plate-forme et le poids peut être lu.
1. Posez l’objet à peser.
2. Appuyez sur la touche HOLD. L’affichage paraît sur l’écran.
3. Retirez maintenant l’objet de la plate-forme de pesage.
Le résultat mesuré peut ainsi être lu.
Pour annuler la fonction HOLD, appuyez à nouveau sur la touche
HOLD. L'affichage initial « 0 » apparaît à nouveau sur l'écran.
CALIBRAGE
Quand un calibrage est-il recommandé
Au cas où la balance a été soumise à un long trajet de transport, un
calibrage peut être nécessaire lors de la première mise en service.
Cela est nécessaire parce que le poids d'une masse à un endroit ne
correspond pas nécessairement au même poids à un autre endroit.
De plus, des variations mécaniques peuvent apparaître avec le temps
et l'utilisation.
Procédure de calibrage
1. Avant le calibrage, allumez la balance par la touche [I/O] et laissez-
la allumée pour une durée d’au moins 1 minute.
2. Appuyez sur la touche [CAL] pour 2 secondes. Sur l‘écran s’affiche
„CAL“ et peu après, l’affichage „0“ clignote.
3. Appuyez de nouveau sur la touche [CAL]. Sur l’écran s’affiche „0“ et
