• EXTENSION CORDS
A short power-supply cord is to be provided to reduce the risk
resulting from becoming entangled in or tripping over a longer cord.
Longer detachable power-supply cords or extension cords are
available and may be used if care is exercised in their use. If a longer
detachable power-supply cord or extension cord is used:
1 . The marked electrical rating of the cord set or extension
cord should be at least as great as the electrical rating of the
appliance.
2 . The longer cord should be arranged so that it will not drape

over the countertop or tabletop where it can be tripped over,
snagged, or pulled on unintentionally by children or the user.
• POLARIZED PLUG
This appliance has a polarized plug (one blade is wider than the
other). To reduce the risk of electric shock, this plug is intended to t
into a polarized outlet only one way. If the plug does not t fully into
the outlet, reverse the plug. If it still does not t, contact a qualied
electrician. Do not attempt to modify the plug in any way.
BEFORE FIRST USE
1 . Unpack the appliance and all parts. Remove packaging materials
and labels.
2 . Remove the detachable accessories from the appliance.
3 . Wash the grill and grease collection tray with soapy water, rinse
and dry with a cloth or paper towel.
4 . Place the base on a at, heat-resistant surface, then place the
tray on the base making sure it is fully tted and stable.
5 . Pour water into the tray taking care not to exceed the maximum
mark (Max) this decreases the emission of smoke or odors during
cooking. Never use the appliance without water.
6 . Place the grill in place making sure it ts well and stable.
7 . Insert the thermostat in place making sure it ts well.
8 . Do not place the appliance under the cabinets or too close to
the wall to allow heat to ow without damaging the area.
9 . Make sure the thermostat is in OFF (far left) position and plug

appliance has been used a couple of times.
FOR HOUSEHOLD USE ONLY
CAUTION: The surfaces of the appliance get hot. To avoid accidental
burns, scalping, or steam being released while cooking, always
manipulate the appliance by using an oven mitt.
USING THE APPLIANCE
1. Place the appliance on a stable, horizontal and level surface. Do
not place appliance on non-heat-resistant surfaces.
2. Once the appliance is assembled and watered, operate the
thermostat knob by turning it to the right and let it heat.
3. Place food on the grill using a kitchen glove or tweezers.
4. You can adjust the temperature according to the type of food or
recipe. Usually the largest foods are ready in 20 minutes or less.
5. Once the cooking is nished, turn the thermostat knob
completely to the left and remove food from the grill using a
kitchen glove or tweezers, taking care not to burn.
6. Disconnect from the power outlet.

IMPORTANT SAFETY WARNING: Never use the appliance without
water in the tray. Only for indoor use. Do not add water if the
appliance is in use and hot. The maximum amount of water is 1.5L.
Never use carbon or similar fuels, this appliance is electric.
NOTE: Always supervise food to avoid overcooking. Flip the food
during the process if necessary. Always wear kitchen gloves to avoid
the risk of burns. USEFUL TIPS
1. Frozen foods and meats will take longer to cook. It is advisable
to prepare the meats in advance and let sit are at room
temperature.
2. When using the appliance, smoke is likely to be present at the
beginning in cooking. Removing excess fat from food before
cooking can reduce this.
3. Do not move the artifact while in use. Pay attention the tray does
not run out of water.
CLEANING AND MAINTENANCE
1. Before cleaning the appliance, unplug it and allow it to cool
completely.
2. Wash all removable accessories with soapy water and dry
thoroughly.
3. Do not immerse the thermostat in water or any other liquid.
Wipe with a damp cloth and dry thoroughly.
4. Do not use any metal products to clean the surfaces of the
appliance to prevent surface damage.

CUALQUIER TIPO DE DAÑO O SI EL ARTEFACTO FUNCIONA
INTERMITENTEMENTE O DEJA DE FUNCIONAR POR COMPLETO.
• CABLES DE EXTENSIÓN
Se provee un cable de alimentación corto para reducir el riesgo de enredarse o
tropezar con un cable/cordón largo. Pueden usarse cables de extensión más largos si
se toman las precauciones necesarias en su uso. Si se usa cable de extensión:
1. Las características eléctricas del cable de extensión deben ser iguales o superiores
a las del artefacto.
2. El cable debe colocarse de forma que no cuelgue para evitar que se pueda
tropezar, enredarse o tirar de él accidentalmente (especialmente por niños).
• ENCHUFE POLARIZADO.
Este electrodoméstico tiene un enchufe polarizado (una pata del enchufe es más
ancha que la otra). Para reducir el riesgo de descarga eléctrica, este enchufe está
diseñado para entrar de un solo modo en la toma eléctrica. Si el enchufe no entra
totalmente en la toma de corriente, invierta su posición. Si aun así no entrase,
póngase en contacto con un electricista calicado. No intente modicar el enchufe de
ninguna manera.

PRIMER USO
1 . Retire los materiales de embalaje y las etiquetas.
2 . Retire los accesorios desmontables del artefacto.
3 . Lave la parrilla y la bandeja para recolectar la grasa con agua jabonosa, enjuague
y seque con un paño o toalla de papel.
4 . Coloque la base en una supercie plana y resistente al calor, luego coloque la
bandeja en la base asegurándose que quede bien encajada y estable.
5 . Vierta agua en la bandeja cuidando de no sobrepasar la marca máxima (Max)
esto disminuye la emisión de humo u olores durante la cocción. No use nunca el
asador sin agua.
6 . Coloque la parrilla en su lugar asegurándose que quede bien encajada y estable
7 . Inserte el termostato en su lugar asegurándose que quede bien encajado.
8 . No coloque el artefacto debajo de los gabinetes ni demasiado cerca de la pared
para permitir que el calor uya sin dañar el espacio.
9 . Asegúrese que el termostato está en la posición apagado (extrema izquierda) y
enchufe el artefacto en un tomacorriente.
NOTA: Durante los primeros minutos de uso inicial antes de la cocción,
usted puede notar un poco de humo y/o un olor del artefacto. Esto es
normal y desaparecerá. No va a reaparecer después de que el artefacto se
haya utilizado un par de veces.
INSTRUCCIONES DE USO:
1. Una vez ensamblado el artefacto y con agua, accione la perilla del termostato
girándola hacia la derecha y deje calentar.
2. Coloque los alimentos sobre la parrilla usando un guante de cocina o unas
pinzas.
3. Puede ajustar la temperatura según el tipo de alimento o receta. Usualmente los
alimentos mas grandes estan listos en 20 minutos o menos.

4. Una vez terminada la cocción gire la perilla del termostato totalmente hacia la
izquierda y retire los alimentos de la parrilla usando un guante de cocina o unas
pinzas cuidando de no quemarse.
5. Desconecte del tomacorrientes.
IMPORTANTE ADVERTENCIA DE SEGURIDAD: nunca
use el artefacto sin agua en la bandeja. Sólo para ser
usado en interiores. No adicione agua si el artefacto
está en uso y caliente. La cantidad maxima de agua
es de 1.5L. Nunca utilice carbon o combustibles
similares, este aparato es electrico.
NOTA: Siempre supervise la comida para evitar la cocción excesiva. Voltee
la comida durante el proceso si es necesario. Use siempre guantes de
cocina para evitar el riesgo de quemaduras.
CONSEJOS ÚTILES
1. Los alimentos congelados y las carnes tardarán más tiempo en cocinar. Es
recomendable preparar y adobar las carnes con anticipación y que esten a
temperatura ambiente.
2. Al usar el artefacto, es probable que al inicio despida humo en la cocción.
Eliminar el exceso de grasa de los alimentos antes de la cocción puede reducir
esto.
3. No mueva el artefacto mientras esta en uso. Este pendiente que la bandeja no se
quede sin agua.

LIMPIEZA Y MANTENIMIENTO
1. Antes de limpiar el artefacto, desenchúfelo y deje que se enfríe por completo.
2. Lave todos los accesorios removibles con agua jabonosa y seque
completamente.
3. No sumerja el termostato en el agua o ningún otro líquido. Limpie con un paño
húmedo y seque completamente.
4. No utilice ningún producto de metal para limpiar las supercies del artefacto
para evitar daños en las supercies.
PRECAUCIÓN: NO SUMERJA EL ARTEFACTO, EL TERMOSTATO, EL
CABLE O EL ENCHUFE EN AGUA U OTROS LÍQUIDOS.
ALMACENAJE
1. Luego de seguir los pasos de limpieza y mantenimiento, recoja el cable de
alimentación.
2. Guarde el artefacto en un lugar seco y limpio.
