SAFETY WARNINGS
Read this information carefully before installation or use of
this product. Keep this manual with the product for future
reference.
1. This appliance can be used by children aged from 8
years and above, and persons with reduced physical,
sensory or mental capabilities, or lack of experience
and knowledge, if they have been given supervision or
instruction concerning the use of the appliance in a safe
way and if they understand the hazards involved.

BODY ASSEMBLY
Loosen and remove the four screws (04) from the bar
A (13) and bar B (14). Then cross bar A (13) and bar B
(14) so that they interlock. Be sure to align the four
holes in the bars with the outer tube. Tighten the
outer tube to the bars with the four screws.
Loosen and remove the height adjustment control
collar (06) from the top of the inner pipe. Put the base
decorative cap (05) down to the base through the
tube inside.
Replace the height adjustment control collar (06) on
top of the inner pipe (03). Pull the inner pipe (03) out
from the outer tube to adjust the tube to the desired
height and tighten the collar.
Slightly loosen the switch rotate ring (07) by turning it
anti-clockwise. Put the switch box down over the
inner pipe and tighten the switch rotate ring.
Make sure it is tightly secured.

FAN GRILLE ASSEMBLY
Remove locking nut (08) by turning it anti-clockwise
from the motor shaft.
Place the back safety grille (10) into position. The slots
on the grille should align with the plastic rod on the
front motor cover. If this is done correctly, the safety
grille’s carry handle will be at the top.
Fix the back safety grille (10) into position by replacing
the locking nut (08) tighten by hand. Do not twist the
locking nut too hard.
The groove in the centre of the fan blade (11) aligns
with bolt on the motor shaft to ensure correct
positioning.
Fix the blade into the motor shaft gently by hand, and
tighten the blade cap (09) by turning anti-clockwise
onto the end of the motor shaft.
Mount the front safety grille (12) onto the back safety
grille (10), by hanging the top hook clip of the front
grille over the top of the back safety grille. Close the
clasps all around the grille, finally fit the safety screw
and nut (15) through the hole in the bottom edge of the
front grille and tighten.

OPERATION
Insert the power plug
Speed Control
Speed is controlled by the button switch.
(0=OFF, 1=Low, 2=Medium, 3=High).
To turn the fan on, press the desired button switch.
(1=Low, 2=Medium, 3=High).
Oscillation Control
To make the fan oscillate, push down on the oscillation knob (02)
located on the top of the motor housing. To stop the fan
from oscillating, pull up on the oscillation knob when the
fan is in the desired position.

CLEANING
Always unplug the fan before cleaning.
Use a soft damp cloth with a mild soap to clean the fan.
DO NOT use abrasive cleaners.
DO NOT immerse the fan in water and never allow water to
drop into the motor component.
DO NOT use petrol, thinner or other chemicals to clean
the fan.

STORAGE

Store the device and any accessories in a dry,
well-ventilated place.

In case of longer periods without operation, protect the
device and its accessories against soiling and corrosion.
Tilt Control
The airflow can be adjusted upward or downward by tilting
the fan head as desired.

PLUG REPLACEMENT
WARNING! The wires in the mains lead are coloured in
accordance with the following code:
Blue – Neutral
Brown – Live
As the colour of the wire in the mains lead of this appliance
may not correspond with the coloured marking identifying
the terminals in your plug, proceed as follows:
The blue wire must be connected to the terminal marked N
or coloured black.
The brown wire must be connected to the terminal marked
L or coloured red.

If you need to replace the fitted plug, then follow the
instructions below.

The warranty covers any manufacturing defect in materials,
workmanship and finish.
Any claim under this warranty must be made by going to
your nearest Homebase store, taking your proof of
purchase with you, and claims must be made within 2 years
of the date of purchase.
We will offer you a free repair of the item where this is
possible, or a replacement or a refund. Your statutory rights
remain unaffected, in particular any rights you may have
under the Consumer Rights Act 2015.
