Multifunctional Halogen Oven

Safety Instructions
1. Before using this product for the first time, make sure you have read and understood this
manual.
2. Make sure that the voltage on the rating label corresponds to the voltage in your home.
3. Always switch the HomegearMultifunctional Halogen Oven off beforeremovingthe plug.
4. To protect the user against electrical shock never immerse the cord, plugs or motor in water or
other liquids.
5. Never use or handle the oven with wet hands.
6. Never let children play with the HomegearMultifunctional Halogen Oven. When in use ensure
children are kept a safe distance away.
7. Before cleaning always unplug the HomegearMultifunctionalHalogen Oven.

16. Do not place the underside of the lid directly onto laminated surfaces, wood surfaces, paper,
plastic or otherflammable surfaces.
17. Always place the top unit onto the bowl before plugging in the powercord and switching on.
18. Always ensure the bowl sides are at least 5 inches from all surfaces.
19. The oven gets very hot during operation. Always make sure you wearoven gloves when
handling the appliance
20. Never clean with metal scouring pads to avoid the possibility of electric shocks.
21. Never replace any parts of the HomegearMultifunctional Halogen Oven as this will void the
warranty.

Introduction
1. The HomegearMultifunctional Halogen Oven can cook anything that a normal oven cooks. It
is a multipurposeoven suited to prepare all kinds of dishes which would normally require a
conventional oven.

steaming, reheating or defrosting.

conventional oven.

Operating Instructions
Before using the Homegear Multifunctional Halogen Oven for the first time
Wipe the glass bowl clean with a damp cleaning cloth
Place lid centrally and securely onto the bowl
Set the thermostat to 250C (480F)
Set timer for 5 minutes to remove any lubricants from the element (you may notice a
slight burning odor but this is normal)
Cooking
Place food centrally in the bowl on the high rack keeping the food approximately 1inch
from the glass wall to allow maximum circulation
Place the lid on the bowl, and make sure the handle is clipped down securely. The oven
cannot be switched on without this being done.
Insertthe plug firmly into the wall outlet.
Turn the timerclockwise to your required time. The red powerlight will remain on while
the oven is operational
Set the thermostatto the required temperature. The green light will turn on to show
that the element in the lid is heating up. Once the required temperature is reached, the
lamp will turn off. The oven automatically turns the heater back on when the
temperature becomes lower than the set temperature.
The timerwill switch off after the preset time period has passed and a bell will sound to
alert you that the cooking time is over
To defrost food set the thermostat to 100 degrees
Maintenance
Light cleaning can be done with a mild washing detergent, warm water and a damp
cloth.
The HomegearMultifunctional Halogen Oven is self-cleaning , simply put 2 inches of
water in the bottom of the and set the temperature for 38 C (100F)
Always ensure the bowl has been rinsed thoroughly to remove all detergent.
Never immerse the lid in any liquid
If scrubbing is necessary use a nylon or polyester mesh pad. Never use a metal wool
pad.
Never use solvents or cleaning powders
Be careful not to get any liquids inside the lid.
