Your safety is of the utmost importance to us. P ease
make sure that you read this instruction book et before
attempting to insta or use the app iance. If you are
unsure of any of the information contained in this

General Information
oThis app iance is designed for domestic househo d use and can
be bui t under a standard worktop.
oIMPORTANT: The adjacent furniture or housing and all
materials used in the installation must be able to withstand a
minimum temperature of 85°C above the ambient temperature
of the room it is located in, whilst in use.
oCertain types of viny or aminate kitchen furniture are
particu ar y prone to heat damage or disco ouration at
temperatures be ow the guide ines given above.
oAny damage caused by the app iance being insta ed in
contravention of this temperature imit, or by p acing adjacent
cabinet materia s c oser than 4mm to the app iance, will be the
liability of the owner
oFor use in leisure accommodation vehicles, p ease refer to
the appropriate information given in the insta ation instructions
for this app iance.
oIMPORTANT: We DO NOT recommend that this appliance is
installed on any type of marine vessel.
oThe use of this app iance for any other purpose or in any other
environment without the express agreement of the manufacturer

Warning and safety instructions
oThis app iance comp ies with a current European safety
egis ation. We do wish to emphasise that this comp iance does
not remove the fact that the app iance surfaces will become
hot during use and retain heat after operation
C ild Safety
oWe strong y recommend that babies and young chi dren are
prevented from being near to the app iance and not a owed to
touch the app iance at any time During and after use, a
surfaces wi become hot.
oIf it is necessary for younger fami y members to be in the
kitchen, p ease ensure that they are kept under c ose supervision
at a times.
General Safety
oMake sure that you understand the contro s before using the
app iance.
oCheck that a of the contro s on the app iance are switched off
after use.
oA ways stand back when opening the oven door, this wi a ow
heat to disperse.
oTake care when removing items from the oven, as the contents
may be hot.
oA ways keep the oven door c osed when the oven is not in use.
oA ways fo ow the basic princip es of food hand ing and hygiene;
this wi prevent the possibi ity of bacteria growth.
oA ways keep venti ation s ots c ear of obstructions.
oKeep fingers away from the hinge areas when c osing the door,
otherwise you may trap them.
oOven g oves shou d be used when p acing food in the oven cavity
and when removing it. Care shou d be taken to avoid direct
contact with either of the burners in the app iance.
oDO NOT LEAVE THE APPLIANCE UNATTENDED WHILST IN
USE

oDo not p ace heavy objects on the oven door or ean on the
oven door when it is open, as this can cause damage to the oven
door hinges. Nobody shou d be a owed to sit or stand on any
part of the oven.
oDo not heat up unopened food containers, as pressure can bui d
up which may cause the container to burst.
oDo not p ace f ammab e or p astic items in the oven.
oDo not eave heated oi or fat unattended, as this is a fire risk.
oDo not a ow fat or oi to bui d up in the oven trays, ename ed
baking tray or oven base.
oDo not p ace pans or baking trays direct y on the base of the
oven cavity, or ine it with a uminium foi .
oDo not gri food containing fat without using the gri trivet. The
gri trivet shou d never be covered with a uminium foi .
oDo not p ace hot ename parts in water, eave them to coo first.
oDo not a ow vinegar, coffee, mi k, sa twater, emon, tomato
juice or any iquid with high sugar content to remain in contact
with the ename parts of the app iance. Spi ages shou d be
wiped up immediate y.
oDo not a ow e ectrica fittings or cab es to come into contact
with areas on the app iance that get hot.
oDo not use the app iance to heat the room it is ocated in or to
dry c othing. No c othing shou d be p aced over or near to the
oven door.
oDo not insta the app iance next to curtains or soft furnishings.
oDo not attempt to ift or move cooking app iances by using the
oven door or hand e, as this may cause damage to the app iance
or resu t in injury to the person ifting the app iance.
oDo not store chemica s, food stuffs, pressurised containers in or
on the oven or in cabinets immediate y above or next to the
oven.

Cleaning
oC eaning of the oven shou d be carried out on a regu ar basis.
oGreat care shou d be taken whi st using this app iance and when
fo owing the c eaning procedure.
oIMPORTANT: The appliance must be disconnected from the
mains before following the cleaning procedure.
Installation
This appliance must be correctly installed by a
suitably qualified person, strictly in accordance
with the manufacturer’s instructions Please see
the specific section of this booklet that refers to
installation
oThe manufacturer declines any responsibility for injury or
damage, to person or property, as a result of improper
use or installation of this appliance
oHeat, steam and moisture wi be created during use of the
app iance, take care to avoid injury and ensure that the room is
adequate y venti ated. If the app iance is going to be used for
pro onged periods of time, then additiona venti ation may be
required.
oP ease consu t with your qua ified insta er if you are in any doubt
about the amount of venti ation that you wi require.

Cooling fan
oA coo ing fan is fitted inside of this app iance, to make the
interna temperature of the oven stab e and the externa surface
temperature ower.
oAfter you have finished cooking and switched off the oven, the
coo ing fan wi continue to run for a period of time afterwards.
The ength of time wi depend on how ong the oven has been
switched on for and at how high a temperature.
For future reference p ease record the fo owing information which can
be found on the rating p ate and the date of purchase which can be
found on your sa es invoice. The rating p ate for your oven can be
ocated by opening the main oven door and ooking on the frame of
the oven chassis.

Selecting manual operation mode
fter your appliance is connected to your mains supply for the first
time, the numbers on the timer display will flash. Before you can select
a cooking function or set a temperature, you must set the appliance
into manual operation mode.
oTo se ect manua operation mode, press the manua operation
button (4) on the contro pane .
Setting t e time of day
fter setting your oven for manual operation, you should also set the
time of day.
oAfter pressing the manua operation button (4), press the auto
cooking button (2) and the end of cooking button (3)
simu taneous y to enter the time setting mode.
oThen use the p us (6) and minus (5) buttons to set the correct
time of day. The onger these buttons are he d down for, the
faster the numbers wi scro on the LED disp ay (9)
oAfter a few seconds the time wi fix in the disp ay and you wi
be ab e to use your oven.
Before first use
oTo remove any residue from the oven that may have been eft
from the manufacturing process, you shou d se ect the fan oven
or conventiona oven function and set the thermostat to its
maximum temperature setting.
oIt is perfect y norma for a sme to be produced during this
process.
oYou shou d make sure that any windows in the room are eft
open during this process.
oIt is advisab e for you not to remain in the room whi st the
burning off process is taking p ace.
oYou shou d not burn off both oven cavities simu taneous y.
oYou shou d eave the oven on maximum setting for 30 – 40
minutes.

oAfter the oven cavity has coo ed, it shou d then be c eaned with
warm soapy water, using either a sponge or soft c oth. No
abrasive c eaners shou d be used.
oOuter parts of the oven shou d be c eaned with warm soapy
water, using either a sponge or soft c oth. No abrasive c eaners
shou d be used.
oWe wou d recommend that an appropriate stain ess stee c eaner
and po ish is regu ar y used on the stain ess stee surfaces of this
app iance.
Cooking wit out a timer function
oTo operate the oven in manua mode, without using a timer
function, simp y press the manua operation button (4) to
deactivate the AUTO cooking symbo (10).
oYou can then proceed to set the desired cooking function and
temperature.
Setting t e minute minder function (top and bottom ovens)
You are able to set the minute minder at any time, regardless of
whether an oven function has been selected. You can set a period of
time using the minute minder function and an alarm will sound when
that period of time has elapsed.
oPress the minute minder button (1), the disp ay wi show a
va ue of 00:00. Set the period of time that you wish the minute
minder to countdown for, by using the minus (5) and p us (6)
buttons.
oOnce the disp ay has got to your desired countdown time, et go
of the minus and p us buttons. The timer symbo (7) wi appear
on the LED disp ay (9).
oOnce a countdown time has been set, it is possib e to shorten or
engthen the time by using the minus or p us buttons.
oAn a arm wi sound when the countdown time has e apsed. The
a arm can be si enced by pressing the minute minder button (1).
oImportant: The oven will continue to heat once the alarm has
been silenced. If you have finished cooking, then you should turn
the oven function and temperature control knob to 0.

Setting t e duration function (bottom oven only)
This function will allow you to set a countdown time similar to the
minute minder function. However the oven will no longer continue to
heat, once the countdown period has elapsed.
oUse the oven function and temperature contro knob to se ect the
fan oven function as we as the temperature.
oPress the auto cooking button (2) and the disp ay wi show a
va ue of 00:00. Set the period of time that you wish the duration
function to countdown for, by using the minus (5) and p us (6)
buttons.
oOnce the disp ay has got to your desired countdown time, et go
of the minus and p us buttons. The countdown wi start
immediate y and the cooking in progress symbo (8) and the
AUTO cooking symbo (10) wi appear on the LED disp ay (9).
oOnce a countdown time has been set, it is possib e to shorten or
engthen the time by using the minus or p us buttons.
oAn a arm wi sound when the countdown time has e apsed and
the oven wi switch off. The a arm can be si enced by pressing
any button.
oYou wi need to return the oven to manua operation mode, once
the duration function has been used. To do this you shou d press
the manua operation button (4).
oImportant: If you do not turn the oven function and
temperature control knob to 0, then the appliance will continue
to operate as soon as you press the manual operation button.

Setting t e end cook function (bottom oven only)
This function is similar to the duration function, however instead of
selecting a period of time that you wish the oven to switch off after.
You select the time of day that you wish the oven to switch off at.
oUse the oven function and temperature contro knob to se ect the
fan oven function as we as the temperature.
oPress the end of cooking button (3) and the disp ay wi show a
va ue of 00:00. Set the time of day that you wish the oven to
stop cooking at by using the minus (5) and p us (6) buttons.
The timer wi ca cu ate how ong the cooking time wi be, based
on the time of day that you have se ected and show it on the
disp ay.
oOnce the disp ay has got to the time of day that you want the
oven to stop cooking at, et go of the minus and p us buttons.
The countdown wi start immediate y and the cooking in
progress symbo (8) and the AUTO cooking symbo (10) wi
appear on the LED disp ay (9).
oWhen the time is set, it can be modified by pressing the minus
and p us buttons.
oWhen the time of day reaches the end of cooking time that you
set, the oven wi switch off and an a arm wi sound. The a arm
can be si enced by pressing any button.
oYou wi need to return the oven to manua operation mode, once
the end cook function has been used. To do this you shou d
press the manua operation button (4).
oImportant: If you do not turn the thermostat control knob and
oven function selector knob to 0, then the appliance will continue
to operate as soon as you press the manual operation button.

Setting t e start and end time function (bottom oven only)
This function will allow you to set a time in the future that the oven
switches on at and a time that the oven will switch off at.
oUse the oven function and temperature contro knob to se ect the
fan oven function as we as the temperature.
oPress the auto cooking button (2) and the disp ay wi show a
va ue of 00:00. Set the period of time that you wish to cook for,
by using the minus (5) and p us (6) buttons. The AUTO cooking
symbo (10) wi appear on the LED disp ay (9).
oImmediately press the end of cooking button (3) and the LED
disp ay (9) wi show the va ue 00:00. Set the time of day that
you want the oven to switch off at, using the minus and p us
buttons.
oThe oven wi ca cu ate what time it needs to switch on at, so
that your food wi cook for the ength of time that you se ected.
It wi automatica y switch itse f on, once it reaches the time of
day that it has ca cu ated.
oWhen the time of day reaches the end of cooking time that you
set, the oven wi switch off and an a arm wi sound. The a arm
can be si enced by pressing any button.
oYou wi need to return the oven to manua operation mode, once
the start and end time function has been used. To do this you
shou d press the manua operation button (4).
oImportant: If you do not turn the oven function and
temperature control knob to 0, then the appliance will continue
to operate as soon as you press the manual operation button.
Adjusting t e audible signal
oThe audib e signa has three different settings, ow, medium and
high.
oTo adjust the eve of the audib e signa , make sure that the
timer is in manua mode. Then press and ho d the minus (5)
button and you wi hear the current eve that is set.
oPress the minus button again and the audib e signa wi adjust to
the next eve .
oWhen the required eve of audib e signa is reached, re ease the
minus button and it wi be set.

Selecting a cooking function and temperature
IMPORTANT: Before attempting to select an oven
function for the first time, you must set the time of
day
Selecting a top oven function and temperature
oThe top oven contro knob can be
used to se ect the particu ar
mode of cooking that you require,
as we as the temperature.
oThe app iance wi uti ise different
e ements within the oven cavity,
depending on the oven function
that you se ect.
oWhen a function is se ected, the main oven power indicator ight
wi come on.
oIf you turn the contro knob c ockwise, it wi first y switch on the
oven ight. If you continue to turn the knob c ockwise, then you
can se ect a temperature of between 50 - 250°C. The oven wi
then function as a conventiona oven with the top and bottom
e ements being uti ised.
oIf you continue turning the contro knob beyond the 250°C mark,
the oven wi operate as a fu gri which is fixed at maximum
temperature.
oTo switch the top oven off after use, the contro knob shou d be
rotated back to the 0 position.
Top oven functions
OVEN LIGHT: Separate ight contro which a ows the ight
to be switched on, even when the oven is switched off.
CONVENTIONAL OVEN (top and lower element): This
method of cooking provides traditiona cooking, with heat
from the top and ower e ements. This function is suitab e for
roasting and baking on one she f on y.

FULL GRILL: This method of cooking uti ises the inner and
outer parts of the top e ement, which directs heat
downwards onto the food. This function is suitab e for
gri ing medium or arge portions of sausages, bacon,
steaks, fish etc.
Using t e grill
IMPORTANT: The oven door should always be closed when
using the grill function
oMove the safety she f to the first or second she f position from
the top.
oSe ect the gri function, as described above, and preheat the gri
for 5 minutes before introducing food into the cavity.
oP ace the food in the midd e of the gri pan and position the pan
so the food is near but not touching the top e ement.
oDO NOT line the grill pan with aluminium foil or wrap food items
with foil before placing them under the grill. The high reflectivity
of the foil can damage the grill elements.
oWhen fitting the hand e, hook the hand e over the edge of the
gri pan and through the wire rack at a centra point a ong the
gri pan edge, as shown in the drawing be ow. Lower the hand e
fu y down to secure.
IMPORTANT: The grill should only be used for a maximum of 30
minutes at a time

Selecting a bottom oven function and temperature
oThe bottom oven contro knob
can be used to se ect the
particu ar mode of cooking that
you require, as we as the
temperature.
oThe app iance wi uti ise
different e ements within the
oven cavity, depending on the
oven function that you se ect.
oWhen a function is se ected, the main oven power indicator ight
wi come on.
oIf you turn the contro knob c ockwise, it wi first y switch on the
oven ight. If you continue to turn the knob c ockwise, then you
can se ect the defrost function where the fan runs without heat.
oIf you continue turning the contro knob c ockwise you can se ect
a temperature of between 50 - 250°C. The oven wi then
function as a fan oven with the circu ar e ement and fan being
uti ised.
oTo switch the top oven off after use, the contro knob shou d be
rotated back to the 0 position.
Bottom oven functions
OVEN LIGHT: Separate ight contro which a ows the ight
to be switched on, even when the oven is switched off.
DEFROST MODE: The fan runs without heat to reduce the
defrosting time of frozen foods. The time required to defrost
the food wi depend on the room temperature, the quantity
and type of food. A ways check food packaging for the
defrosting instructions.
FAN OVEN: This method of cooking uses the circu ar
e ement whi e the heat is distributed by the fan. This resu ts
in a faster and more economica cooking process. The fan
oven a ows food to be cooked simu taneous y on different
she ves, preventing the transmission of sme s and tastes
from one dish onto another.

Oven operating lig ts (main and secondary oven)
This ight wi come on to indicate that the oven’s heating e ements are
in operation. The ight wi switch off when the temperature set has
been reached. It wi cyc e on and off throughout the cooking time.
You should not place food inside the cavity, until the correct
cooking temperature has been reached
Cooking guidelines
oP ease refer to the information given on food packaging for
guidance on cooking temperatures and times. Once fami iar with
the performance of your app iance, temperatures and times can
be varied to suit persona preference.
oWhen using the fan oven function you shou d fo ow the
information given on the food packaging for this particu ar mode
of cooking.
oYou shou d pre-heat the oven and not p ace food inside of it unti
the oven operating ight has gone off. You can choose not to pre-
heat when using the fan oven mode; however you shou d extend
the cooking time given on the food packaging by at east ten
minutes.
oIMPORTANT: You should LW YS pre-heat the oven if you are
baking.
oIf there is no guidance given on the food packaging specifica y
for cooking in fan oven mode, you can genera y reduce the
cooking time and temperature by 10% from the information
given for conventiona oven cooking.
oMake sure that frozen foods are thorough y thawed before
cooking, un ess the instructions on the food packaging advise
that you can “cook from frozen”.
oBefore cooking, check that any accessories that are not required
are removed from the oven.
oP ace cooking trays in the centre of the oven and eave gaps
between the trays to a ow air to circu ate.
oTry to open the door as itt e as possib e to view the dishes.
oThe oven ight wi remain on during cooking.

Warnings
oKeep the oven door c osed when using any of the cooking
functions, including a gri functions.
oDo not use a uminium foi to cover the ename ed baking tray or
heat items wrapped in a uminium foi under the gri . The high
ref ectivity of the foi cou d potentia y damage the gri e ement.
oYou shou d a so never ine the base of your oven with a uminium
foi .
oDuring cooking, never p ace pans or cookware direct y onto the
bottom of your oven. They shou d a ways be p aced on the
she ves provided.
oThe gri heating e ement and other interna components of the
oven become extreme y hot during operation, avoid touching
them inadvertent y when hand ing the food which you are
gri ing.
oImportant: Be careful when opening the door, to avoid contact
with hot parts of the oven and steam.
oWarning: ccessible parts may become hot during use. Young
children should be kept well away from the oven when it is in
use.
oThe ename ed baking tray hand e shou d on y be used to
reposition the tray and NOT for removing it from the oven
cavity. When removing the ename ed baking tray, you shou d
ALWAYS use an oven g ove.
oThe ename ed baking tray hand e shou d not be eft in position
when the app iance is switched on.
