2Connection
2.1 How To Connect
1. Plug the Powerline Adapter directly into a wall socket (DO NOT USE a
power strip).
2. In order to fully benefit from the Powerline Adapter's improved data
transmission, plug the power strip directly into the Powerline Adapter.
2.2 Hardware Connection – Computer
Connect one (or multiple) computer(s) to the Powerline Adapter
through an Ethernet (RJ-45) cable:

3Advanced Features: Pairing
3.1 Secured Pairing with 128 bits-AES
The Powerline Adapter uses a 128-bit AES (Advanced Encryption
Standard) pairing connection for safe data transmission. For the
Powerline Adapters to communicate with one another, they all need to
use the same Network Membership Key (NMK).
3.2 Secured Powerline AV Network through the Pair Button
You can connect multiple devices onto a Powerline network, but you
can only pair up to two devices at a time through the pair button.
How to set up a secured Powerline network:
Step 1. Press the pair button of the first Powerline Adapter (A) for 1
second. The Power LED will start flashing.
Step 2. Press the pair button of second Powerline Adapter (B) for 1
second. The Power LED will start flashing.
(Make sure to press the two pair buttons within 120 seconds from each other).

7
Step 3. The two Powerline Adapters will pair within 60 seconds. The
Power LED on both adapters will stop flashing and turn solid.
Connect to an Existing Secured Powerline AV Network:
How to connect a third Powerline Adapter (C) to the AV Network
established between the Powerline Adapters A and B:
Step 1. Press and hold the pair button on the third Powerline Adapter (C)
for 1 second.
Step 2. Press and hold the pair buttons on the Powerline Adapters A and
B for 1 second.
(Make sure to press the two pair buttons within 120 seconds from
Step 1).

Power LED on the three adapters will stop flashing and turn solid.
Note:
The order of Step 1 and Step 2 is interchangeable.
How to disconnect one Powerline Adapter from the AV Network
established amongst Powerline Adapters A, B, and C:
Step 1. Press and hold the pair button on the Powerline Adapter for at
least 10 seconds. The Powerline Adapter will reset and restart
