1. Seperate the various
packaging materials and
dispose of safely - DO NOT
leave discarded packaging
materialaroundthehome.
2. Afterremovingthepackaging,
check to make sure your
applianceisintact.Ifindoubt,
contact a qualified
professional.
3. DONOTuse extensionleads
and multiple plugs. If the
electricity supply wire is not
long enough, then have it
replacedwithoneofthecorrect
length and remember that it
should be free of bends or
dangerouskinks.
4. Intheeventofanydamageto
the power cord have it
replaced by a qualified
technician.
5. The mains plug must be
easily accessible after
installation.
6. If the appliance is not
operating properly or if
maintenanceoperationsare
necessary,disconnectthe
dishwasherfromthemains
powersupply(unplugit!).

Coldwaterconnection.
Connectthecoldwatersupplyhose
toa3/4gasthreadedconnection,
takingcaretoscrewittightlyonto
thetap.Ifthewaterhosesarenew
or have been out of use for an
extendedperiodoftime,letthewater
runtomakesureitisclearandfree
of impurities before making the
connection.Ifthisprecautionisnot
taken, the water inlet could get
blocked,causingdamagetoyour
dishwasher.
Choosewhereyouwanttoinstall
yourdishwasher,youcanplaceit
sothatitssidesorbackpanelare
side by side with furniture or up
againstthewall.Thedishwasheris
providedwithwatersupplyanddrain
hoses, which can be directed
towardstheleftorrighttofacilitate
appropriateinstallation.
Levelling.
Oncetheapplianceispositioned,
adjustthefeetbyscrewingthemin
oroutdependingonhowhighyou
want it and to level it so that it is
horizontal.Makesurethatitisnot
inclinedmorethan2degrees.Ifthe
applianceislevel,itwill helpensure
itscorrectoperation.
HeightAdjustment
Inserttheapplianceintothecutout
andthenadjusttheheightusingthe
screwslocatedonthefrontbottom
part of the machine. Use a
screwdriverto turn the screws in
the clockwise or anti-clockwise
directiontoincreaseordecrease
theheightrespectively.

Drainhoseconnection.
WARNING: Connect your
dishwasher drain hose to pipes
which connect to the foul drain
system and not to surface water
drains.
IMPORTANT: For the correct
operationofyourdishwasher,itis
essentialtocomplywiththefollowing
information:-
Standpipe:
Ensurethatthehoseisnotpushed
toofardownthestandpipe.
Iftheendofyourdrainhoseisfitted
with‘retainingflaps’,ensuretheyare
insertedfullyintothestandpipe. This
willpreventthepipefromjumping
outduringinstallationanduse.
DO NOT position the standpipe
nearanelectricaloutlet.
ENSUREthatthedrainhoseisnot
kinkedanditisroutedasshownin
thediagram.
Thestandpipeshouldhaveabore
ofatleast38mm(11/2”).Itshould
beinstalledasshown,haveatrap
fittedandmustdischargeintothe
same drain system as your
householdsink.
It MUST NOT be connected to a
surfacewaterdrain.
Anti-floodingprotection
Your dishwasher has a special
system which stops the water
supplyintheeventofleaksinside
theappliance.
Itisequippedwitha waterinletthat
hasaclearouterhoseandaninner
high pressure hose which turns
brightredifitbreaks.
Leaksare preventedastheclear
outerhosenowcontainsthewater.
It is vital that you check it on a
regularbasis,ifyouseeithasturned
brightred,you knowyouneedto
replaceitassoonaspossible.
Call for an authorised technical
engineertocomeandreplaceit.
SinkWasteSystem:
Forundersinkdrainage:
Beforeconnectingthedrainhose,
removeanyinternalrestrictions-
Thiswillpreventabuildupofdebris
whichcouldcauseablockage.
Removeanyrestrictionsfromthe
wastespigotand ensurethatthe
sealingbungisremoved.Thehose
should be routed, such that it is
raised to a minimum height of
800mm(31/2”).
NOTE:Ensurethesinkoutlet
pipehasaminimumdiamtereof
32mm.

Support’asrequiredalongthe

itcoming away whilethe
machineis inuseandcausing
aflood.
Condensation-prooftape.
Onsomemodels,atransparent
condensation-proofadhesivetape
hasbeenprovided.
Itshouldbestuckontothelower
sideofyourwoodenworktopto
protect it from the formation of
condensation.
Whennotprovided,thistapecan
berequestedasasparepartfrom
authorisedretailers.

- Turn on the water supply
tap completely.
- Add the correct amount
of detergent.
- Load the baskets cor-
rectly.
- Check that the spray
arms rotate freely.
- Close the door securely.
- Press the ON-OFF button "A":
indicatorlight"B"comeson.The
displayturnsonand3dashesap-
pear,theseindicatethatthedish-
washer is now awaiting instruc-
tions.
Select the wash cycle.
Turnknob"M"untilthereference
notchontheknobcorrespondswith
thenumberorsymbolforthecycle
you wish to set (see programme
chart). PresstheStartbutton"R"
andthewashcyclestartsup, the
approximateamountoftimeleftuntil
the end of the wash cycle is
displayed.Afterafewseconds,you
will hear a short beep: the wash
cyclehasbegunandindicator"G"

KeeptheResetbutton"R"pressed
forabout3seconds:
a prolonged beep will sound,
followedbythreeshortbeeps.The
cancelledcycletime will flash on
thedisplay.Turntheknobtoselect
anewwashcycle.
You've left out a dish?
Interruptthewashcyclebypress-
ingtheON-OFFbutton,openthe
door and insert the dish you had
forgotten,closethedoorandpress
theON-OFFbuttonagain.
Thecyclewillstartupfromwhere
youinterruptedit.
Cycle end
The end of the wash cycle is
indicatedbytwoshortbeepsand
the word "END" flashes on the
display.
Turnoffthewatertap.
Waitafewminutesbeforeunload-
ingthedishes:theyareveryhot!If
youwaitalittlewhile,theydrybetter
due tothesteam.
Make sure the wash cycle has
endedbeforeremovingthedishes!
Emptythelowerbasketfirst.
There's been a power
failure or you opened the
dishwasher door
The wash cycle stops and then
restartswhentheelectricitycomes
backonorwhenyouclosethedoor.

If you want your dishes to be
perfectlydry,followtheinstructions
below.
Pressbutton"H".Afteraprolonged
beep, indicator light "Z" lights up
andthetimecorrespondingtothe
washcycleselectedon theknob
willflashonthedisplay.
Todisabletheextradryingoption,
pressthesamebuttonandindicator
light "Z" will be turned off after a
beepissounded.
Thisoptionisincompatiblewiththe
soak cycle. Remember that with
extra drying, the wash cycle will
lastlonger,toprovideyouwithdrier
dishes.
You decide
when it starts.
Whenyouhaveloadedthedishes,
youcanchoosewhentostartyour
dishwasherbeforesettingthewash
cycledesired.
Press button "I" repeatedly to
postponethestartofthewashcycle
from01hourto 24h.
Ifyoupressthebuttonagain,the
word "OFF" is displayed (no
selectionmade).
Once you have made your
selection,makesuretheappliance
doorisshutandstartthewashcycle
bypressingtheSTARTbutton.
Symbol"U"lightsuponthedisplay
andthecountdownbegins.
Oncethecountdownisup,thewash
cyclebeginsandtheapproximate
amountoftimeleftuntiltheendof
the wash cycle is displayed. A
quicklookattheindicatorlightswill
keepyouinformedofthecountdown

Have you changed your
mind?
Ifyouchangeyourmind,youcan
set a shorter time delay: press

Ifyouhavechangedyourmindand
wish to start the wash cycle

Half load.
Yourdishwasheralsoallowsyou
towashhalfaloadWhenyouonly
havelittlecutlerytowash,youcan
run just half a load on the upper
rack, saving on both water and
electricity.
Press button "N"; you will hear a
beep and the symbol ‘V’
correspondingtothehalfloadwill
lightup.
Onceyouhavemadeyoursetting,
start the wash cycle by pressing
theSTARTbutton.

To optimise wash performance and save on energy, try yo use the dishwasher with a full wash load. If it takes some time to fill

Before Using your Dishwasher
Adjusting the water softener.
Yourdishwashercanadjustitssalt
consumptionaccordingtothehard-
ness of the water in your home.
This way, you can optimise and
customiseyourdishwasher'ssalt
consumption.
Toadjustsaltconsumption,doas
follows:
1.Unscrewthesaltcontainercap
2. There is an arrow on the neck
ofthecontainer(seefigure):if
necessary,turnthearrowanti-
clockwise from the "-" setting
to the "+" setting.
Select the arrow position
depending on the water
hardness,referringtothetable.
To prevent rust from forming,
load the salt just before
beginning a wash cycle.

You don't know
how hard the
water in your
home is? Ask the

Alwaysusesaltwhichisintended
fordishwasheruse.
The salt container is situated
underneaththelowerbasket,fillit
upasfollows:
1.Pull out the lower basket
completely, unscrew and
removethecontainercap
2. If it is the first time you add the
salt,firstfillthecontainerupwith
water(youwon'thavetodothis
againnexttime)
3.Putthedishwasherfunnelonthe
holeandpourinapproximately
twokilosofsalt.Itisnormalthat
some water comes out of the
container.
4. Screw the cap back in place
carefully.
When should I load the salt?
Thesaltcontainershouldbefilled
upwhenthelowsaltindicatorlight
"S"flashes.Onceyouhaveloaded
thesaltforthefirsttime,itisnormal
thatthelowsaltindicatorlightstays
onorflashesforabout 5consecu-
tivecycles.

Rinse aid.
Rinse aid makes dishes sparkle
moreasitimprovestheirdrying.The
rinseaidcontainerissituatedonthe
insideofthedoor.Youshouldfillit
upwhentherinseaidindicator “T”
lightsuponthecontrolpanel.
Addingrinseaid.
Toopenthedispenser,turncapC
anticlockwise.Takecarewhenyou
pour in the rinse aid to avoid it
overflowing.Youcanregulatethe
amount of rinse aid used by the
dishwasher,movetheadjusterF
whichyouwillfindunderlidC.

Warning
Three-in-one dishwasher tablets are now available on the market, and combine detergent, salt and rinse aid all in one.
If the water in your area is hard or very hard, we still recommend you pour extra salt into the relevant dispenser to prevent the
formation of white streaks on your dishes or on the interior of the appliance.
Using a three-in-one product means it is no longer necessary to put rinse aid into the relevant container.
If you want to achieve perfectly dry dishes, you may add rinse aid as long as the dosage adjuster is set to no.2.
In any case, please read the manufacturer's instructions on the packet.
If you use only these products, it is normal for the salt and rinse aid indicator lights to flash permanently after a certain number of
cycles.

Disposal of old electrical appliances
The European Directive 2002/96/EC on Waste Electrical and Electronic Equipment (WEEE), requires that
old household electrical appliances must not be disposed of in the normal unsorted municipal waste
stream. Old appliances must be collected separately in order to optimise the recovery and recycling of the
