-keep outside of pans clean and freefrom streaks of oil or

handlesarekept awayfrom theedgeof thehob andcannot
beheatedby other hotplates/pans.
-keep anyventilation slotsclear of obstructions.
NEVER:
- attempt to install or repair the appliance without the
assistanceofqualified personnel.
-storeitems abovethe appliancethat childrenmay attempt
toreach.
-heat up unopenedfood containers, aspressure can build
upcausing thecontainer toburst.
-use the appliance to heat up anything other than food.
-usetheapplianceasaroomheater.

-allow children toplay with ortamper with thecontrols.

onthe appliance, orin cabinets immediately aboveor next
tothe appliance.
-use flammable orplastic items on ornear the hob.
-use adapters, multiplesockets and/or extensionleads.
-filladeep fatfryingpan morethan1/3 fullofoil, orusea lid.
DO NOT LEAVE UNATTENDED WHILE COOKING.
- fry too much food at a time, especially frozen food. This
onlylowersthetemperatureortheoilorfattoomuch,resulting
ingreasy food.
-pull on the applianceorthe supply cable tounplug it from
theelectricaloutlet.
-allowpowercablesofotherappliancestocomeintocontact
withhot parts of this appliance.
- expose the appliance to atmospheric agents, such as
rainorsunlight.
- operate the appliance with wet hands.
-operate the appliance when barefoot.
-allow anyone to sit or stand on any part of the appliance.
- use misshapen pans which may be unstable.
- use fish kettles or large preserving pans across two
hotplates.
-leave anything on the hob surface when unattended and
notin use.
When used properly your appliance is completely safe but as with any electrical product there are certain
precautions that must be observed.

2.Cover thepan witha fireblanket ordamp cloth,this willsmother theflames andextinguish thefire.
3.Leave the panto cool for atleast 60 minutes beforemoving it. Injuries areoften caused by pickingup a hotpanand
rushingoutsidewithit.
NEVERUSE A FIRE EXTINGUISHERTO PUT OUT APAN FIRE as the forceof the extinguisher islikely to tip the pan
over.Neveruse watertoextinguish oilorfat fires.
