Installation
!Beforeplacingyournewapplianceintooperationpleasereadthese
operatinginstructionscarefully.Theycontainimportantinformationfor
safeuse,forinstallationandforcareoftheappliance.

Positioning and connection
Positioning
1. Placetheapplianceinawell-ventilatedhumidity-freeroom.
2. Do not obstructthe rearfan grills. Thecompressor and
condensergiveoffheatandrequiregoodventilationtooperate
correctlyandsaveenergy.
3. Leaveaspaceofatleast10cmbetweenthetoppartofthe
applianceandanyfurnitureaboveit,andatleast5cmbetween
thesidesandanyfurniture/sidewalls.
4. Ensuretheapplianceisawayfromanysourcesofheat(direct
sunlight,electricstove,etc.).
5. Inordertomaintainthecorrectdistancebetweentheappliance
andthewallbehindit,fitthespacerssuppliedintheinstallation
kit,followingtheinstructionsprovided.
Levelling
1. Installtheapplianceonalevelandrigidfloor.
2. Ifthefloorisnotperfectlyhorizontal,adjusttherefrigeratorby
tighteningorlooseningthefrontfeet.
Electrical connections
Afterthe appliance has been transported,carefully place it
verticallyand wait atleast3hours before connecting ittothe
electricitymains.Beforeinsertingtheplugintotheelectricalsocket
ensurethefollowing:
• Theapplianceisearthedandtheplugiscompliantwiththelaw.
• Thesocketcanwithstandthemaximumpoweroftheappliance,
whichisindicatedonthedataplatelocatedonthebottomleft
sideofthefridge(e.g.150W).
• Thevoltagemustbeintherangebetweenthevaluesindicated
onthedataplatelocatedonthebottomleftside(e.g.220-
240V).
• Thesocketis compatible with the plug of the appliance. If
thesocketisincompatiblewiththeplug,askanauthorised
techniciantoreplaceit(seeAssistance).Donotuseextension
cordsormultiplesockets.
!Oncetheappliancehasbeeninstalled,thepowersupplycable
andtheelectricalsocketmustbeeasilyaccessible.
!Thecablemustnotbebentorcompressed.
!Thecablemustbecheckedregularlyandreplacedbyauthorised
techniciansonly(seeAssistance).

Start-up and use
Starting the appliance
!After transportation of the appliance,carefullyplace it in an
uprightpositionandwaitatleast3hoursbeforeconnectingitto
theelectricitymains,tomakesureitoperatesasitshould.
• Cleantheinsideoftherefrigeratorwellusingwarmwaterand
bicarbonateofsodabeforeplacingfoodinsideit.
• Theappliancecomeswithamotorprotectioncontrolsystem
whichmakesthecompressorstartapproximately8minutes
afterbeingswitchedon.Thecompressoralsostartseachtime
thepowersupplyiscutoffwhethervoluntarilyorinvoluntarily
(blackout).
Freezer Compartment
Whentheproductisswitchedonthefreezercompartmentissetto
itsdefaultvalueof-18°C.WerecommendthattheSUPERFREEZE
functionissetinordertoacceleratethecoolingprocessofthe
compartment;whentheinsideofthecompartmenthasreached
itsoptimaltemperaturethefunctionwillbedeactivatedandthe
foodmaybeplacedinside.
Navigating the display
Setting the temperatures:
Ifthe product is switched on, the refrigerator and freezer
compartmentdisplayswillindicatethetemperaturevaluessetat
thatmoment.Tochangethem,simplypressthe-and+buttons
correspondingtothecompartmentforwhichyouwishtochange
thesettemperature.Morespecifically,eachtimethebuttonsare
pressed,thetemperatureincreasesordecreasesandthelevelof
coldgeneratedinsidethecompartmentisadjustedaccordingly.
Thetemperaturevaluesthatmaybeselectedfortherefrigerator
compartmentare+8°C,+7°C,+6°C,+5°C,+4°C,+3°Cand+2°C,
whilethevaluesthatmaybesetforthefreezerare-18°C,-19°C,
-20°C,-21°C,-22°C,-23°C,-24°C
-25°Cand-26°C.IfSUPERFREEZEfunctionsisactivated,Freezer
temperaturecannotbemodified.
Chiller system
NO FROST
TheNoFrostsystemcirculatescoldaircontinuouslytocollect
humidityandpreventiceandfrostformation.Thesystemmaintains
anoptimal humidity level in thecompartment, preserving the
originalquality of the food, preventingthe food from sticking
togetherand making defrosting a thing of the past. Do not
blocktheaerationcellsbyplacingfoodorcontainersnearthe
refrigeratingbackpanel.
!Closebottlesandwrapfoodtightly.
Using the refrigerator to its full potential
• Adjustthetemperatureusingthedisplay.
• Placeonlycoldorlukewarmfoodsinthecompartment,never
hotfoods(seePrecautionsandtips).
• Rememberthatcooked foods do not last longer than raw
foods.
• Donotstoreliquidsinopencontainers:theywillincreasethe
levelofhumidityintherefrigeratorandcausecondensation
toform.
ACTIVE OXIGEN
Thisdevice releases ozone molecules inside the refrigerator;
ozoneis a natural substance which combats bacteria and
microorganisms,reducing their proliferation whilelimiting
unpleasantodours.Automatically defines the amountof ozone
requiredforprolongingthefreshnessoffoodstuffs,eliminating
odoursandpreventingbacteriabuild-up.Theremaybeaslight
distinctiveodourinsidetherefrigerator.Theverysamesmellcan
sometimesbedetectedduringastorm,duetotheozoneproduced
asthechargeinthelightningboltsisreleased;thisiscompletely
normal.Theamountproducedbythedeviceisverysmalland
abatesquicklyastheantibacterialactiontakesplace.Deviceis
