1. Coat swivel threads with thread sealant
to keep moisture from entering j-box.
2. Tighten coupling onto mounting
device.
3. Attach fixture onto coupling.
WARNING: Fixtures must be grounded in accordance with local codes or the National Electrical
Code. Portable spear mounts must be plugged into a receptacle protected by a Ground Fault Circuit
Interrupter (GFCI) in accordance with the National Electrical Code. Failure to take these steps may result in
serious personal injury. DO NOT operate luminaire with missing or damaged lens.
SAFETY WARNING: To maintain light efficiency and prevent fixture overheating, lenses must
be kept clean and free of dirt, dust, leaves, trash and mineral deposits from water. NOTE: Fixture is
approved for upward aiming only. Do not exceed listed backtilt. Fixture may be aimed downward if protect-
ed from rain and sprinklers.
This KIM fixture is supplied with K”NPT male mounting.

5. Attach fixture leads to circuit leads
observing polar-ity, i.e., green ground
lead-to-circuit ground, white-to-com-
mon, and black-to-voltage.
4. Tighten set screw under j-box cover.

1. Loosen set screw to adjust fixture
rotation, then tighten the set screw.
2. To adjust backtilt up to 60° maximum,
loosen swivel screws being careful not
to disengage threads. Hold fixture at
desired angle and firmly tighten swivel
screws.

current sourcing dimmers. Controls compatible
via Gray and Purple dimming lead.

6. Attach fixture onto coupling. Support
opposite end by attaching swivel to
rigid pipe of appropriate length for
site local soil conditions. Remove
protective paper from lens.
