1. Connect each iPad or iPhone to cellular data or Wi-Fi.
2. Open the App Store and search for Hudl Sideline.
3. Tap GETor then OPEN to launch the app.
4. Log in with your Hudl email and password.
Download the Hudl Sideline App
If you already have the Hudl Sideline app,
visit the App Store to check for updates.
What You’ll Need
2 devices (iPhone 6, iPad Pro, Air 2, Mini 4 or newer is required.)

Charge all devices.
Charge all recording/viewing devices overnight.
Log in to the Hudl Sideline app.
Be sure to log in wherever Wi-Fi is available. You will not be able to log in while
connected to the Hudl Sideline network.
Prepare for weather.
The sideline access point (A) is weatherproof. All other hardware must be protected.
Check the storage on all iPads/iPhones.
Make sure you have at least 4 GB of free space. To check your free space, navigate
to Settings, select General and tap Storage & iCloud Usage.
Check for updates.
Make sure all devices are on the most recent operating system (iOS) with the latest
version of Hudl Sideline. App updates are available anytime we make improvements.

Set Up the Hardware
1. Connect to power.
2. Attach the sideline access point (A)
to the outside of your press box window.
Face the sideline access
point (A) down toward
your team’s sideline.

1. Green light appears on the back of the sideline access point (A).
2. Blue light appears on the top of the press box access point (B).
