**Platform for flooring is not included. We recommend using a 4 x 4 ft, 1/2" thick, piece of
plywood as flooring.
INSTRUCTIONS:
1) With wall panels A & B vertical, one person stands on the inside with nuts & the other on the
outside with the screws (8-32 x 3/4) (See Fig.1). Overlap the offset corner of Panel A with Panel
B. Using the predrilled holes, starting at the top insert screws (8-32 x 3/4) one at a time down the
edge of Panel B. DO NOT PUT A SCREW IN THE BOTTOM HOLE OF EACH PANEL
UNTIL FLOORING IS PLACED AT END OF ASSEMBLY. Make sure panels are tight
against each other before you insert each screw.
2) Repeat above steps on panels A & C. Now attach panel D (door panel)to panels B & C.
3) Place roof over the top of the panels. With one person inside and one out, insert screws (8-32
x 3/4) from the outside into predrilled holes along the bottom edge of roof panel. Again make
sure roof panel is tight against the wall panel before you insert each screw. Note: Some screw
holes may not line up. In the event this happens, re-drill holes from the outside of the roof
to line up with holes in the panels.
Floor Insertion:
4) When inserting flooring into your box blind, lay it on top of lip on inside of box blind bottom.
Insert 8-32 x 3/4" screws into the bottom predrilled hole on each panel corner.
***The next steps are for the use of 2 x 4's for extra support. If you choose not
to do this feature skip to step 8 to complete assembly of your box blind.
5) On the inside of the bow blind insert 2 x 4 #1 into the horizontal grove at the top just below
the roof on any side of the blind. Now insert 2 x 4 #2 beside it going horizontal in the same
groove in a different panel. Repeat these steps using another #2 and #3 to create a square at top
for reinforcement. Attach all lumber from outside of blind using 10 x 1 inch screws to fasten.
Now attach 2 x 4 #7 on opposite side of panel D to the grove on the edge of the bowed out
section of the panel going vertical running from the floor to the reinforced lumber up top.
6) Next go to the inside of the blind and insert the 2 x 4's #7 (that have been cut to 58 inches)
vertically into the groove that runs on the outside of the windows. Place the 2 x 4's on the two
walls that butt up against the wall with the door cut out. You don't need to put lumber on the wall
opposite of the door wall. All of the lumber will be screwed in from the outside of the blind
(going through plastic walls to the lumber).

Windows: PLEASE READ!!!!
SLIDE THE WINDOW IN THE TRACK FIRST! There is a small hole in the (Plexi-glass)
window, this is where a knob and a 8x32 screw go once the window is installed in the tracks..
Please do not over tighten because the window will crack. The knob will be on the inside of the
blind. Next you will see there is a bolt or screw above the knob you just installed (on the inside
of the blind). Screw another knob into this bolt. This will give you 2 knobs that you will wrap the
band around to keep the window in the up position and closed. Take the band off the knob on the
window to slide it down in the opened position. See window kit diagram for more info.
If you would have any problems with this product, please contact HUGHES PRODUCTS
COMPANY, INC. at 336-769-3788. Please do not contact the merchant where you purchased the
blind.

INSTRUCTIONS: FOR WINDOW ABOVE DOOR
1) Peel plastic film off one side of the window.
2) Peel off adhesive tape off the window handle and place on the bottom of the window in
the center. Make sure the bottom lip of the handle is against the bottom edge of the window
and press firmly. (See Figure A.)
3) Peel plastic film from the back side of the window.
4) Measure from top left edge of window 12" (See Figure B). Peel adhesive cover off the back
of the 1" Velcro's adhesive pad. Place the pad to the right of the 12" mark and press firmly. The
pad will be on the opposite side of the handle.
Installing window tracks:
Take one track and align the pre-drilled holes on the track with the pre-drilled holes on the
blind around the opening for the window. Insert the screw into the hole and attach the nut. Do
not tighten. Repeat this step on the other 7 window tracks. Next take a window and slide it into
the tracks. It should rest on the 2x4 piece of wood that runs below the window. Once you have
the window in the tracks, you can tighten all the screws. If it doesn't slide smoothly, you may
have to re-drill the holes for a better fit using a 3/16" drill bit.

5
Installing Velcro Window Pads:
Take the window and slide it up into the open position. Locate where the Velcro pad that you
put on the top of the window hits on the blind wall and that is where you will put the Velcro
pad on the blind wall. Press the pad firmly against the wall of the blind. This will hold your
window in the open position.
