Screw the sleeve cap back onto the valve
Place the push pull diverter (only for tub and
shower valves) back onto the valve. Place adaptor back onto the catridge and
use allen wrench to tighten the screw to the
catridge.
Slide the sleeve back onto the valve.
Snap the face plate cap back onto the face
plate.
Screw the raw sleeve back onto the valve. With your hands screw the
sleeve onto the valve first. It is very important to watch that the
cartridge does not move when you begin to tighten the sleeve. (Hint:
With one hand as you hand tighten the sleeve, use the other hand and
push onto the top of the cartridge so that it doesnt move as you tighten
the sleeve.) Once its hand tighten use a wrench and tighten it. Open
the service stops with the flat head.
Place the pressure balancing unit into the valve. Notice
the nipples on the bottom of the unit, they have to line up
with the holes on inside of the valve chamber. Press
down on it to secure. Place the Cartridge onto the
pressure balancing unit, by inserting the nipples on the
back of the cartridge to the holes on the pressure unit.
Lubricate rubber washers if needed.
Before you place the face plate back, Turn the main water back
on to the valve and open valve. Check and make sure valve is
not leaking. If it leaks at the top of the cartridge or at the bottom
take off the cartridge and repeat steps. (The reason is because
the cartridge is not making a proper seal with the valve)
Place face plate over valve and secure with screws
