a cord having an equip ent-grounding conductor and grounding plug. The plug ust be inserted into an
appropriate outlet that is properly installed and grounded in accordance with all local codes and
ordinances.
SAFETY LABEL
The following label appears on the achine, next to the achines rating plate. Replace label if it is
issing, beco es da aged or illegible. Failure to follow this warning label ay result in fire, electric shock
or injury
3.Function
ALT55 equipped with a three phase powerful turbine otor. The achine has three HEPA filters
inside, is for sucking and separating dry, non-co bustible dust with an explosion li it value of
0.1 g/ 3
The otor is started by switches. Dust-laden air is then sucked through the inlet valve at high
speed via the suction hose. The air is slowed down by the cyclone and coarse dust particles are

3
separated out, partly by centrifugal force and partly by gravity. Air and finer particles then pass
through the filter syste where they are separated. The separated dust accu ulates in the
cyclone until the achine is switched off, when it drops through the botto flap into the plastic
bag.
4. Filter cleaning
The achine is designed for auto atic jet-pulse filter cleaning, which can clean the filter by itself
fro ti e to ti e. Air co pressor keeps supplying co pressed air @4-6Kg to an air tank.
Controller controls the 3 valves open/close with a pre-set frequency and sequence. When a valve
open, the co pressed air blusters into the filter inside out, blowing off dusts fro the filter
surface. When the vacuu starts operation, the jet-pulse filter cleaning is auto atically working.
Each valve open/close at a pre-set ti e interval and frequency.
If suction beco es poor, the filter needs to be replaced. The plastic bag ay only be replaced after
cleaning the filter. The plastic bag ust be tied up after re oval. Only use original parts.
5. Filter change
Risk of dust dispersion -Use of personal safety equipment Unhealthy dust can be spread
during filter change. Accordingly, the user should wear protective glasses, protective
gloves, and a breathing mask conforming to protection class FFP3.
Turn the machine off and pull the plug out of the socket.
Loosen the cla p between the upper and lower housing. Re ove the hose connection Lift out the
filter holder and place it carefully on a table. Re ove all screws and then re ove the filter and
place it in a plastic bag. Insert a new filter in reverse order. Tighten the screws hard. Only original
filters ay be used.
. DUST STORAGE SYSTEM
The dust extractors are ainly equipped w i t h Longopac syste for effective dust storage or a
regular plastic bag syste depending on odel. Longopac is a 22 long plastic tube that will be
divided into plastic bags using the zip ties attached with the achine.
To assemble a new Longopac bag: Release the belt holding the last bag. Re ove the holder,
put in a new Longopac bag & pull out the inner end upwards. Asse ble the holder on to the
achine and strap the opening facing upwards with the belt. Pull down the outside end and close

4
it using a zip tie.
All dust extractors can be used w i t h original HURRICANE dust bags for single use. Also all
odels can be fitted with the longopac syste . Only change Longopac or regular bag after filter
cleaning cycle have been co pleted.
7.Maintenance
When cleaning and servicing the achine, you ust switch off the achine and re ove the plug
fro the
outlet.
• Avoid cleaning with a high pressure cleaner. If necessary, do not direct at the openings on the
achine, especially the inlet/outlet for the cooling air.
• Before oving the achine fro the work area, the achine ust first be cleaned.
Further ore, the inlet ust be locked using the expanding plug attached.
• All other equip ent ust be regarded as conta inated and be treated thereafter.
• If possible, use a special suitable roo .
• Proper personnel protective equip ent ust be used.
• All parts which are conta inated after service ust be carefully disposed of in plastic bags
according to local regulations.

9.Problem solving
The dust extractors are designed and anufactured for severe environ ents and tasks, but the
