Reason: Mower doesn’t start due to a defect bowden cable catcher inside
the switch box.
The catcher can break and therefor the parts button (92), upper
housing (93) and catcher (96) were modified :
All mowers with index 710B (10/2017) are equipped with the new
parts, the reworked mowers have a green sticker on the cardbox.
The new parts can be ordered as spare parts with the old part no.
and the repair can be done according the attached instruction.

Required Equipment:
•Torx T20
•Torque wrench 0 – 1,3Nm
•Button: 05041-00.620.06
•Catcher: 05041-00.620.07
•Upper housing: 05041-00.620.04

1. Pull the switching bracket out of the handle on both sides:
2. Detach the bowden cable:

3. Open the switch box and take off the upper housing carefully:
4. Take off the button with spring and the release the bowden cable from the
catcher:

5. Assembling of the spring and the new catcher :
6. Insert the assembly into the lower switch box housing:
Locate the catcher in the lower
housing. The end of the spring
must be on the contact surface
Insert catcher in the
correct position on the
spring

First turn the catcher clockwise
against the spring force and then
push it down
The end position of the catcher
on the contact surface
Secure catcher with the finger !

7. Clip in the bowden cable:
9. Insert spring and button:
Keep attention to
the cable guidings.
The cables must be
fixed in the notches

Check switch, bowden cable and wire for correct positioning
Turn button into the
correct direction.

10. Fix the button with one hand and install the upper housing:
11. Tighten the screws with 1 – 1,3 Nm in correct order:

12. Clip bowden cable into the switching bracket and reinstall it to the handle:
13. Function test:
Press the button and pull the
switching bracket. By pressing down
the button it must turn clockwise
