when driving. See your authorized Hyundai dealer to configure this feature.

Shoulder Belt Height Adjustment (Front Seat)
Seat belt should be adjusted to lie across
your chest, midway over the shoulder
nearest to the door and not your neck.
NOTE: Moving height adjuster quickly
may cause seat belt retractor to
lock for a moment.
Basic Safety Precautions
Whenever operating the vehicle, make sure that you and your occupants are
properly wearing your seat belts. Small children should always ride in the rear seat
in the appropriate child restraint system (see the Owner’s Manual for child safety
details).
Never place children under 13 years old in the front seats to avoid injury that may
result from air bag deployment.
Always refer to the Owner’s Manual for complete safety precaution information.
NOTE: If the driver’s seat belt is not fastened when the ignition key is turned to the
ON or START position, the seat belt reminder light will blink and the warning
chime will sound for approximately six seconds to remind the driver to fasten
the driver’s seat belt.

Fuel door release button is located on driver door by map pocket.
NOTE: After adding fuel, always reinstall fuel cap fully and make sure it clicks.
Failure to do this may result in Check Engine Light illumination.

Occupant Classification System
PASSENGER AIR BAG OFF
INDICATOR
The occupant classification system will
disable the right front passenger’s air bag
under certain conditions (light on).
Light will not illuminate when front
passenger’s air bag is enabled. Refer
to your Owner’s Manual for a complete
description of this system.
Clock
iPod®/USB and Auxiliary Input Jacks
An auxiliary and USB jack is located in
the center console compartment. Use
the jack to connect an external audio
device and listen to it through the audio
system in your vehicle.
NOTE: To operate your iPod®through
the vehicle’s audio system,
a Hyundai adapter cable is
required. This cable can only be
purchased at your local Hyundai
dealer.
Homelink®Wireless Control System (if equipped)
HomeLink®Wireless Control System can
conveniently replace up to three hand-
held radio-frequency transmitters, such
as garage doors, estate gates, and home
lighting. Controls for HomeLink®are
located in the lower portion of the inside
rearview mirror.

DEFROSTING/DEFOGGING
1. Set the temperature control Bto the desired setting.
2. Set the fan speed Ato the highest setting.
3. Press the front windshield defrost control C.
COOLING
You can cool the inside of your vehicle quickly by choosing the MAX/AC mode on
the air flow control. In the MAX/AC mode, the A/C is turned on automatically and
the recirculation mode will be activated. The A/C cannot be turned off while in the
MAX/AC mode.

Cruise Control
TO SET A CRUISING SPEED
1. ON D–Pull the switch and the
CRUISE indicator in the instrument
cluster will illuminate. Accelerate to
desired cruising speed (above 25 mph).
2. SET C–Push the switch and remove
your foot from the accelerator pedal.
TO ACCELERATE OR
DECELERATE
RES/ACCEL PRESS A–To increase or
resume cruising speed.
COAST/SET PRESS C–To decelerate
or set cruise control speed.
TO CANCEL CRUISING SPEED:
